This won't start off seeming to make sense, but I pray it will in the end.
Letting the National Enquirer publish its nonsensical and sometimes scurrilous trash is the only way to ensure the New York Times can give us "all the news that's fit to print." Thomas Jefferson said, "Our freedom depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost."
While more directed to press freedom, the jump to freedom of speech is not a long one. If one of us loses the ability here to speak his mind as he sees fit, that same restriction then threatens each and all.
No, this is not the public square, it is a private forum, and greater decorum might be more desirable, but -to my mind at least- not at the cost of honesty and candor, and even when it means suffering the bad manners of miscreants and bullies in our midst. Their intemperate speech simply lets us identify who and what they truly are. But be not wounded by their vitriol, nor pay them any heed, lest they come to think you care about their opinions.
It is not a question of growing a tougher skin, but one of both acknowledging a shared right and of properly weighing its value in our marketplace of ideas and opinions. And without free speech how would we know who the stupid ones are?

I had a regular back in the day who would come into my house on a Sunday while I was watching football and would suck me off without saying a word and then leave.  We had other encounters as well, but this Sunday activity was a favorite.

i have never had an escort increase his rate for me once I have been established as a client.  I am old enough to be a grandfather som maybe that is why I am always grandfathered in.  If the occasion does arise, I would probably go witht he higher rate for that visit and then decide if the extra money did anything for the experience.  If I am left smiling, I will certainly pay the increased fee again, and if I am left wet and exhausted, well that is worth a tip.

I do recall my last shoe shine.  I would utilize shoe shine stands as a respite from the days activities and to help out a small business man.  They became less and less common and the last one I utilized was in the Philadephia airport.  My flight was delayed and this was before TSA and the rigamarole that goes with it.  The shoe shiner, when asked, said that business was slowly coming to an end.  He said that most men, and the few women,  who used to utilize his services were traveling in sneakers or were too busy to take a few minutes to sit and read a newspaper or chat with him about the events of the day.  He said he would miss it once the stand finally closed.  The next time I was at that airport it was gone.  I had specifically worn shoes that needing a shining even though it was a vacation not a business trip.

"It is nice to have a family to whom you can move close.  I guess, like me, you never had a family of your own.  Living an unattached life can be difficult.  I have known you for fifty years and yet I do not know you at all.  I guess I thought we had nothing in common but  perhaps we actually do."   "I just live down the street, why not come by after work for a pizza and beer before you leave town?"
If he says no thanks, then you can wish him well.   But what if he says Yes?

I do not presume to speak for Oliver, who has worked very hard year after year for this event.   And at his age, getting very hard is not as easy as it used to be.  But, in my last conversation with him, he was definitely planning on returning to Palm Springs in a rental home and I would bet that his arm might be twistable.

I recall similar issues when Daddy was here and the site would be down for a few days and then, miraculously it would reappear.  I am glad the magicians who work to keep this going know the right tricks to do so.
Thanks for your hard work.  I will be sending a small donation of thanks and urge others to do so as well.

Thanks are wonderful.  But money pays the bills.  One time donation in the donation section at the top of the page or a more ongoing contribution if you so desire will keep this site going through perilous times.

Listen.  It is not too late to say to him:  I have admired your looks and your body since I first started driving.  I like men and it occurs to me that maybe you do too.
He is moving to Florida but if he gets the little Ali Gator charged up, perhaps you can arrange a send off.  If not he is not gay or not willing to say he is, then you can wish him well and just go back to the weekly fill up with a bit of tension until he does indeed sell.
If you do not ask, you will not know.   Do not be afraid, he has known you for 50 years and all that shirtless window washing might not have been an accident.

The movie ran that long as that is how long movies ran back in the 30s and 40s.  The new editing is more in keeping with the new mindsets for most films.  There are definitely edits that could be make that would not significantly compromise the story though cutting it to 75 minutes does seem draconian.
