RM doesn't allow for an easy way to deactivate a profile (they have some functionality, but it is clunky and you lose certain things) so some providers wind up changing their name/pics/location to "park" a profile somewhere until they're ready to return. Believe it or not, it's easier to do that whole game than to just deactivate when you want to take a break. Go figure.

I've seen this guy, many times. If you have the opportunity then absolutely book time with him. It'll be the best money you've ever spent on a provider, hands down. The guy is amazing.

Honestly, I really don't know as I am not a provider. Good points but I think it might be a little more complex depending on the situation of a specific provider. I just know what Trev (the guy linked here by the original poster in this thread) told me when we talked about it in person last month.
We were talking about how RM has a lock on this entire industry (M4M escorting in the USA) and if there were an opportunity to build a legitimate competitor to their monopoly, what would it look like? He explained the challenges of deactivating a profile really well, but I wasn't taking notes as my hands were otherwise occupied with his amazing body. So.... yea. 😆🤤

I met Trev back in September 2021 and enjoyed our two evenings together. One an overnight. I left a positive review and he kindly replied with a lovely statement about me. This was early in his stellar career and I see he has pleased many clients so obviously appeals to many different types of clients. Says a lot about his skills and personality.

Accusations of steroid abuse are often made by people who lack the drive and self-discipline to transform their own physiques. Not saying that’s YOU. But it is pretty obvious when negative comments about a fit, muscular body are driven by envy and insecurity, so your statement here, is telling.

His previous name was TopRatedCanada, and a search of the forums should bring up a ton of discussion about him. Cutting to the chase: if he’s planning to be in your city, do whatever you have to do to get an appointment — he’s THAT memorable.

It's something looking at these hot muscular young incredibly handsome guys  that seem to have it all. Ogled by thousands. Paid to show up at circuit parties to look good and party. Boyfriends galore and random sex hook ups daily. Seems perfection right? Jealous?
Many dont make it to 45. Suicide, overdoses, heart attacks and prison sentences abound. They have it all eh? Green with envy?
Some are lucky and see the light. Only problem is they are starting at square one in life at 45.... instead of 21. The somewhat plump, out of shape gay nerd that could barely get a date ogled these monsters at that age. Now he is the executive vp with paid off houses making 6 figures walking by the new handsome middle aged guy thinking "geez the new start up sure looks familiar".
I wonder who is now ogliging whom? Anytime I see one of these guys out and about I feel sorry. I really do. Some may have the financial ability to retire from their internet wealth at 30. Sure. But we all know the downfall of easy money. Same as winning the lottery. If the foundations for success arent laid and the financial windfalls abound then go back and reread what I wrote above. The laws of the universe never change.

I’m an unabashed fan and have stated that here before. Yes, takes patience and work….it’s a “long game”. I have met some really super nice guys there, who are genuinely attracted to older. Hasn’t come close to draining my resources 😉
I tell people that the biggest problem with seeking is wildly varying expectations from both sides. Be clear on what you’re looking for, learn to filter out the flakes, and be very, very patient.

If you're in the USA, Rent.men has a complete lock on the entire industry. You can find guys through other methods, but the risk/reward just isn't there and you'll simply waste your time. RM has a monopoly and any escort who truly wants business lists on there.  As a side note, Hunqz is the place to go in Europe. Not sure for the rest of the world. 
You said you're experienced in hiring on that other site, so the rest of this post isn't really for you (no offense), rather it's for others who stumble on this thread and need to hear it. I was in that same position less than 12 months ago. Never hired before and not sure who to hire and it seemed too overwhelming. But there's a method to the madness. Some tips: 
Generally only hire guys who have had a RM profile for more than 9-12 months. There are exceptions but it's a good rule to follow.  Look for pictures that have a variety of shots in different places. All professional photos? Pass. Also, don't dismiss someone for no face picture. The single hottest guy I have hired and the hottest sex I have ever had in my life was from a guy on RM who didn't show his face.  Reviews are everything. We can debate this until the end of time, but there is huge merit in a 5.0 or 4.9 or 4.8 score with 50+ reviews. The same advice is true on AirBnB and Amazon and Rent.men. It's just a fact of life in 2022. You can't please everyone and there will always be a bitter person, but if you have 50+ reviews and you're at a 4.7 or more, then you're doing something pretty freaking awesome.  Get a VPN if you're in the United States. There are 100's of them out there just Google it. Proton VPN is great for this. Here in the USA, we can't read the text that was written in the RM reviews. But if you VPN in from another country, and also use a "private" browser session, you can read what others write about them. Sometimes there are entire paragraphs their clients write about the encounter. It's amazing.  If they link to an Instagram, Twitter, website, blog (or even an OF), that's solid gold. That means they're real and mostly serious because they're showing you more about themselves.  Finally, have a RM client profile. This is KEY. Say something about yourself, what you like, and what you're looking for by hiring someone. Include a couple pictures if you're able (even if they have to be faceless for discretion purposes).  You do this, and I promise that your response rate will be as close to 100% as possible.  Good luck man.  So yea, RM.  

I keep checking out his profile constantly because to me, those pictures of him in the blue jeans and the blue briefs are two of the hottest pictures on all of Rent Men. But then I read the profile and what you say above and it's like okay, time for him to take the RM ad down. lol
When I started hiring, a friend of a friend gave me one huge, huge piece of advice:  Hire someone who is gay. Make sure they're gay, or if they're bisexual, make sure they're a genuine "people pleaser" (those types exist and they're incredible). Anything less than gay or genuinely bisexual and you'll just be disappointed, no matter how hot they are.  
He was 100% right. Best advice ever and it's worked.

Tried for months to get some time with him and he wasn't available or our schedules didn't align or we couldn't make it work. But we both kept the lines of communication open. It worked. Planets aligned in the past week and I can legit confirm what everyone else on here says about him (just search his name)…. he's the real deal. Nicest in NYC at least of anyone I have met. lol  

... and just based on what I know about the site, my own personal experience, and reading on here for a while, it would be around $2k to be featured for ~24 hours.
There would also be conditions on who gets promoted. You'd have to have a real full profile, be established for over a year, with at least two dozen 5.0 reviews to even consider it, otherwise you'll never get a reply from the inquiry.
I could be completely out of the park on that estimate, but if I ran the site, that's what I would be charging based on current traffic in general. 

+3 on 9th Ave. That's usually my go to when I am in NYC -- also because I stay in HK anyway, so. But definitely a very diverse crowd and something in there for everyone.... and that Kiwi bartender someone else mentioned above is definitely very friendly.

You're not misreading a tall, but the larger message is just lost in translation from being a post here rather than a real-life discussion. I think I wrote all that on a semi-buzzed ramble and the answer is that it's complicated.
The initial reason for that reply was "CEOs and other executives have announced that the first candidates for layoffs will be the people who refuse to come to the office, or don't get there enough or in a timely manner. An entire generation is going to have to grow up quickly and drop their bad habits."
And that's the point of the thread -- be on time or communicate, or you'll get passed over. Sure some guys have enough business to not care, but it's the ones who respect and value time (on both sides) that become the legends in this [or any] industry.

Good for him, I wish I looked like that right now. But the whole "I'm the hottest guy you'll ever meet" attitude will come back to bite him in the ass real soon. Because we all know the truly hottest guys out there don't have to say it. 
Hopefully he uses what he's got right now to build an empire that will give him a good life over the next 50-70 years. It's either that or he's going to be taking old dude dick for his next hit of meth. Somehow, reading his profile, I don't think there's much room for anything in-between.
