How much do you believe the reviews?

Besides DaddyReviews, we can also find some reviews about the escorts/masseurs on other sites. How much do you believe those reviews?

Actually, most reviews are 5 stars, does it really mean their service are perfect? I usually skip those reviews which only use some adjectives to say how good it is, and focus on those which describe some detail actions.

I would like to share one of my experiences. It was before I found this forum. I saw a profile, and the guy was my type, but he had two or three bad reviews about different aspects of his service. Those reviews were not deleted, and he responded to all those reviews and made me believe that those clients left bad reviews only because he didn't fulfill their absurd requirements. I went to him, and it turned out that I had an experience with all bad aspects that other clients mentioned in different reviews.

I left a review (my first and only) and tried to tell other clients what I experienced, but it never showed on the site or was deleted before I could see it.

This taught me a lesson, and I think I won't go to any escort who has bad reviews.

I think reviews are essential in selecting an escort in particular for a first time with an escort. On a personal level I always leave positive reviews for escorts where deserved. I think it shows respect and admiration. Do I believe in all reviews no but Daddys is the essential site to go to.

I trust specific reviewers, for example, I believe @latbear4blk posts reviews on RM, and since I have some overlap with his preferences, I trust his reviews, and that review, and his comments here helped me identify someone I wanted to meet. And my (two) reviews are for real, but I do need to take some time to write up the second meeting and submit it to Daddy. I figured I once I had a chance to do that, I would post in the deli that I had submitted it, in case anyone cares to PM me about the details. That would seem to be the workaround while the site is in transition.

I don't trust any except the ones I read here on Daddy's.

I agree with you but even here on Daddy's, reviews are after all subjective. In my experience some very well reviewed escorts have been less than stellar in performance and service. I never posted my own review for fear of not being believed when the escort refutes the experience and cites his stellar record with clients and excellent previous reviews not to mention his fan base here! I've also come to understand that some men have very low standards and sadly are willing to pay big bucks for some attention from almost anybody that advertises. Also "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". So we do the best we can when choosing based on the information out there.

This similarly happened to me with a well reviewed escort who also posts occasionally to this forum.

I did not bother to send in a review because I know that the escort is highly regarded here by many posters and also that he would come back with some disingenuous excuse for his behavior (arrived thirty minutes late for a two-hour appointment and used his cell phones several times to make and/or receive calls and messages).

On the other hand, I have met some exceedingly excellent escorts who are well reviewed here.

Bottom line, you just never know about reviews. It is often, the luck of the draw.

Thank you, man! I'm feeling well today, another forum member whom I highly respect also praised me this morning.

nothing beats pre-meet direct and honest communication with the guy and a phone call or three to gauge compatibility......

I agree that Daddy's reviews are far and away the only reviews I look at.....though there are honest RM reviews (and many of the RM reviewers have never heard of Daddy's), the poor reputation of the RM review process makes navigating them nearly impossible......

as said above, we each have varying preferences and desires.....I made a glowing first-review of a new guy late in 2015.....my preferences vary from many and my review was criticized as unhelpful and vague......yes, I was deliberately vague because of the ol' chemistry thing......several forum members had later great meets with this guy, but, unfortunately, some had horrible ones and he quickly, apparently, slid into poor habits and has disappeared......

I say all this to reiterate the obvious - don't solely rely on reviews written by somebody else......do your own pre-meet research (a couple texts/emails and a chatty phone call)......

from quora:

Back in the 1940s, Citizen Kane performed poorly and received mixed reviews (most likely due to pressure from William Randolph Hearst). It was only after the re-evaluation of film later in the 1950s did people change their assessment and it is now considered by many to be one of the greatest film of all time.

Too bad he flamed out so quickly. I was really interested in him.

Do you think that Rentmen views have become more believable? For a long while you NEVER saw negative reviews on RM, or if you did, they suddenly disappeared after a day or two. Now I'm noticing more negative reviews that are staying put on the listing.

Here's something I've learned as a result in being in a very heavy TripAdvisor intensive industry. You can do everything you can to avoid bad reviews but occasionally someone just can't be pleased and you get nailed. BUT, TA allows you to reply to those reviews. I've often found that by constructing a heartfelt and non-confrontational reply you can do more good than having a good review. Whether it's explaining a misunderstanding, or simply giving a genuine apology for something bad that did happen, your reply speaks volumes about your or your business.

When I check out RM reviews I skim past all of the 5 star reviews and stop and read the bad ones. Same thing with Yelp (for restaurants in the states) or TripAdvisor (if I'm looking at hotels, etc.). How the business (or guy) responds to the reviews makes a HUGE difference.

I do not think anything has changed about RM reviews credibility. I have a payed membership, so I can contact the reviewers if they so allow in their privacy settings. Often the reviewers have only one review posted, which is suspicious.

When my paid membership expired I didn't renew. Rentmen has zero customer service and never answers or addresses complaints. They only take our money so that in exchange we can see certain Semi-Private pictures and watch the short often times seconds of whatever the escort decides to show. We still needed escorts to unlock the "Private Pics" which he may chose to do so or not. The reviews also just are stars given and if the encounter was "Relaxing" or not and it the photos were "Accurate" or not and would we recommend or not. Not a hell of a lot of information! Rentmen has a poor track record with me and they won't get my money anymore. They are only the web site of choice for now till something better comes along. What has saved them is being based overseas out of the reach of Uncle Sam.

I take reviews for what they are - one person's impression of an appointment. When reading a review, the salient points for me are: 1) did he show up reasonably on time; 2) was he sober; 3) did he look like his pictures; 4) how did he behave; 5) did he do what he said he would do for the rate quoted? When reading a negative review I look for why the session went bad. The play-by-play details really don't tell me anything about how MY appointment would be, as I am not the reviewer and we all like different things.

I only trust reviews here. Even then I take them with a grain of salt.

Everyone has good and bad days. There's also the elusive magic of chemistry.

Neither of those is predictable or reliable unfortunately.

I do tend to trust bad reviews on RM. If an escort is too stupid or lazy

to get a bad review removed on there....it speaks volumes. Especially

when you see so many 5-star only reviews on escorts you KNOW are bad.

That grain of salt is important with ANY review: music, theater, movies, escorts.

As a college student I worked in the binding department of the university library, sending things to the bookbinder. One day I prepared a stack of "Time" magazine from the 1960s. On my coffee break I thumbed through them.

There was an absolutely excoriating review of a new fall TV show. The show was described as "an implausible show starring an unknown negro comic".

They were talking about "I Spy", a successful star-making vehicle for Bill Cosby.

Grain. Of. Salt.

I trust Daddy's Reviews. But I was surprised that one experience with a controversial Escort of the Year candidate was so bad I left after 15 minutes. So reviews aren't necessarily a one size fits all resource.

It's really more about the negative reviews I think. It's a flag...is that always accurate no but as you said it's all in the perspective and chemistry of the escort and client.

Sure thing, the first is Chris (RM: Bodyology, A4A: BodyWrk202). Planning to see him again.

There are some out of town guys you've mentioned that I like, but they may never happened, I travel very rarely:

https://rent.men/Jaden_galore

https://rent.men/KevinRyder (he would have to trim his face hair very short, not a fan of beards)

http://www.adam4adam.com/profile/view/riotalk2

IsaacPowers was interesting, since there were comments he was actually shorter than his profile said, but now it appears his profile has disappeared.

I think you mentioned KentSilver one time, but hadn't met him at that time. His RM photos are interesting since they remind me of myself when I was his age.

All of them great, talented guys. I don't know who Kent Silver is. If I mentioned him it was probably because I liked his profile, but I have not met him. Now that you say he is a young you, I am curious.

I have to check what is going on with Isaac. By the way, he is as tall as he says he is. Delicious boy.

I just checked K Silver. You were a hottie before you got old and busted! :)

I wonder why I never contacted him. Probably his fee.
