Maybe it's me (usually is 😉), but I'm really only interested in an oral happy ending to a massage. It's easy enough to say that with an escort, but it seems over the line for a sensual massage.

Is anyone else like this and how do you broach rhe topic? Frankly, I can jerk myself off. Sure, it's nice when it's someone else, but I really want what I can't do myself ;).  Not interested in anal, so it seems like getting an escort is a bit of overkill.

Thoughts or tips to not make this awkward or offend a masseur?

I'll be blunt (I frequently am):  You think that hiring an escort for oral only is a "bit of overkill" but isn't hiring a masseur for oral sex the reverse?  That being said, a lot of guys advertise as masseurs yet it's clear they are actually doing sex work, and a lot of guys advertising on Rentmen focus on massage.  I don't think any masseur that I hired whom I asked if more was on the table for an additional fee were offended, but I definitely received a lot of "no" answers along with many "yes" answers with an indication of how much more compensation they expected.  And, as I have posted previously, I have had numerous experiences where masseurs went a lot further with me than I anticipated.

I guess my advice is that as long as you aren't hiring men off websites where it's clear they are not offering gay-male focused massage, you should feel comfortable asking for what you want.  Just don't be a jerk about it and expect escort-lite experiences for the same price as a rub-and-tug.

What Maninsoma said.

Escorts aren't "over kill" (some even charge less for oral/side only sessions), you don't have to do anal or "go all the way" with escorts just because they're escorts. And any masseurs who offers HE is at the very least used to being asked if they offer other services beyond that, and plenty of them do. There's a ton of overlap in providers and services they offer on RentMasseur and RentMen.

Just ask the masseur if they offer extras and if they say yes, mention you would like to receive oral and see if they say yes.

Yes, you should always ask. And the provider can always decline.  Once a provider was awesome, the sex was some of the best I ever had. Then I asked to cuddle for a few minutes and he looked at me as if I wanted to munch on the contents of his colon. Made a horrible face then dressed and left in a flash.

One never knows what the provider will or won't do unless you ask.

Masseurs who give handjobs are escorts. And what is this "provider" thing? Why not escorts? It is amusing to see a forum for escort reviews to avoid the word escort. Let's start calling the escorts escorts. 🤣

What's in a name? That which we call a rose,
By any other name would smell as sweet.

I do not want to be called a john. Nor do I think that the word "provider" is the same as, and should be replaced by, a couple of the words one could use instead of "provider." And I would disagree. A massage appointment is NOT the same as an appointment between a provider and a client.

Yes, we all know what this is, we all know what goes on. I appreciate the words at which you seem to roll your eyes. These words demonstrate a level of mutual trust and respect for both parties in the appointment. And please don't roll your eyes at me either. I see you, LOL. I am NOT some politically correct progressive "panty waist" (my Dad's favorite words), liberal, tree hugger, save the whales dude. In truth I am a good ole boy from the deep south who loved his mama, baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet. I can't stand the PC police.

But I like the guys who do this for a living. And I like the guys who give them money  for their "time." And yea, I want them to like me as well. It's my fantasy. I'm not paying for a hot young guy's time who is gonna do nasty things with me. I'm taking that hottie on a date. And we are gonna enjoy each other's company. And if I play my cards right, I might get lucky later on. That's my fantasy. Don't muck it up by making me face reality. I got plenty of reality at home.

LOL Tongue in Cheek, etc. etc.

Why are some here so stuck on the word escorts and so put off by provider? Why is that so offensive to you? Would you be bothered if we said sex workers instead? All those terms are accurate, pick the one you want to use and stop letting others using a different one get to you this much. Some jobs have multiple titles that mean basically the same thing and can be used interchangeably. It really doesn't matter.

The OP specifically mentioned the ending of a massage. A Masseur (trained or simply talented) might meet the goal of massage w/oral release, but so might an Escort (trained or simply talented) who incorporates massage into a full service session.

If strong massage skills are secondary to the bj, you ought to be seeking an escort who lists massage. If you live in a med-large market, there will be guys who have 2+ ads, and among those providers, some will offer something along the lines of a 90m combo if you ask.  Not hard to do cross-check research to increase the odds of getting what you want.

I frequently use the word "provider" because it encompasses both masseurs and escorts and there isn't always a clear distinction between the two.

But there should be. Masseurs are for massage only, nothing else. The rest is escort work.

Well, oral sex is generally riskier (sti wise) then a hand job.  So yes, you are asking for quite a bit more.  Also, unless you have a nice looking unit they are attracted to, there's a big difference between a handy and oral lol.

And like they said, that's not really how it works anymore (if it ever did). Many guys do both services/jobs with the only distinction being what a specific client asks for. Hence it being often easier to use a more generalized catch all term, that's why those of us that use it use it.

It's like referring to someone who plays multiple instruments as a musician or performer or instrumentalist rather than by the specific instrument. You also could call the guy a violinist or a guitarist or a pianist and all would be correct depending on which one they're playing at the given moment, but musician/performer/instrumentalist are all encompassing and specifically refers to the fact they are capable of more than one thing. By your logic you're saying "nooooo they must only pick one cause they're different instruments!" 😆
