I always avoid hiring during Pride. I either do it the week before or wait 1-2 weeks after. Way too much going on, being exchanged, shared etc.

Yes! The factor that makes it most difficult for me to hire is a lack of free time- I might actually have some free time on Monday or Tuesday, but… not so soon after Pride 😬

I've been told that for big cities it can be very good for business.  However, more folks are PNP to maintain the high which can contribute to higher flaking rates from both sides.  The surge in visitors though can spike hotel rates.

They were trying to process a payment at the cashier and it wasn't going through. One of them mentioned they are visiting from Canada and maybe there is an issue with their card, the cashier called their supervisor and mentioned again, they are from Canada and experiencing issues with the bank card.
