This week has been really rough for me. I’ve had 5 or 6 guys flake on me right before meeting. Had a pic collector today who blocked me an hour before our scheduled time to meet. Just wondering what are some signs to look out for from guys like this so I avoid wasting my time and mental energy… thanks in advance.

I messaged you elsewhere 😉on it lol but here’s my list of red flags. 100% guaranteed!

🚩 Pic collectors (more than 1 pic requested). If my website/X profile/OnlyFans isn’t enough then that’s too bad.

🚩Endless chat before booking. Including phrases like ‘I’ll be a regular’, ‘I’m a virgin / I’m really tight etc’, ‘what will you do to me?’ etc. And of course discount requesters ‘I’m a student / unemployed etc’ NEVER discount. Those guys are 99% definite flakes.

🚩Pic senders (more than 1 pic sent). These guys never become clients. Waste of time.

🚩’Hey’ as an opening message. He’s not serious. It won’t happen. Don’t respond.

Those are the big 4. If somehow someone displaying one or more of those indicators actually makes a booking I seek a confirmation message (via WhatsApp or Signal etc or text) on the day before the booking and on the day of the booking if possible/necessary. If either of those messages are ignored I cancel the session. I tell them this when they book: no pre meet confirmation…no booking. I don’t travel / prepare or keep the time free if it isn’t confirmed. It saves a lot of grief.

Sorry you had a bad run 😕

In my experience, guys who booked days in advance were much more likely to cancel. That may not be true for everyone, but it was true for me, so I did not book appointments days in advance.I booked same day appointments only.

As a client, I hope most providers don’t consider this to be a red flag. I always book several weeks in advance because I want to make sure to get the session at a time that is best for me.  Canceling at the last minute—for me anyway—would only happen if something urgent happened.

Curious, Gilfson. Is this an age thing, or are this group of low-life time-wasters from what you can tell men of all ages? The more and more that assholes do this to providers, the more and more difficult it gets for people like myself who are honest and follow through, like that 1 out of 6 you actually saw.

The age varies.. I’ve had it with 30 year olds up to 60 year olds. Age doesn’t seem to be a factor

Interestingly that’s not my experience. I actually prefer clients to book in advance. I’ll take on the day clients but often if they leave booking to the day then I’m usually busy and can’t see them. I find if advance bookers do cancel then it’s for good reason and they don’t leave cancelling to the last minute, which is fine by me.

Recently I booked in advance and made a significant deposit to show I'm serious on meeting. Talked alot before the date and was told on the day of couldn't meet. Was told will send my money back but I have my doubts now.

Same here. I prefer to book clients in advance. Same day is a crapshoot.

You learn something new every day. Never thought that the greeting can tell about client reliability.

Sorry this has happened to you I can relate. I think guys who message without a single hello and request to see pictures is a big one. Guys who message you just see nudes with no intention on booking, even though it was planned.

My number 1 red flag for scammers is when then agree to book you, never having asked about rates. Serious clients always ask, even the really rich ones.

And the really serious ones will try to haggle you down a few bucks 😀

There are screening mechanisms you will need to put in place. here is some advice -

1. Reach out to an older provider who is well reviewed and been working for a few years and ask for drinks or chat for mentorship.

2. Use Mr.Number. There are some POS providers who have left bad reviews for their good clients in order to keep them to themselves, so if someone only has one or two reviews saying 'time waster' or 'cop', I still communicate with them - however, proceed with caution. If they have many reviews you know just ignore or block.

3. You have plenty of photos/videos on your page. A request for more is a huge red flag. A request for FaceTime is also a red flag - but if you do one, make it not more than 60 seconds to say hello, show you are real, end of call.

4. no phone calls. rarely has anyone called actually made a booking - they are 99 times out of 100 just jerking off.

5. Controversial on here as there ARE Nigerian scammers with RM accounts - but if they want advance bookings - great! but ask for small deposit. If they are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a session with you, they should have no problem sending $50 to lock down a time. if they are concerned about Venmo/cashapp/amazon gift card, tell them to do same day appointment with no deposit - just reach out on the day.

Do not let posters here turn you off this - You have proven yourself to be real - until you meet someone who has reached out, they are just a phone number. You have been jerked around enough now to know that people do this to sex workers because they get off on it. Most, not all, but most people posting here don't fully understand that because they are legit clients and can't imagine people doing it to us - you know they do.

6. There are people who use rentmen as an interactive porno site - they jerk off to our pics/videos and interact with us while doing so adding to the fantasy. They are fulfilled by that alone, they do not need to make a booking to be satisfied. Keep this in mind when people reach out. Be friendly but do not play into it. If they are engaging in too much sex talk, cut it. It's a fine line between them asking if you are down to do whatever scene they want to, and them just milking you for content - but you will soon learn where the line is.  "I prefer not to engage in to much sex talk, I have gotten a good idea of what you want and I think we will get along well - so let's save it for when we meet". if they cut off off communication after that - you know why.

7. if they message saying they want a 3 hour booking - they are fake. In all my years of full time sex work, I have never had anyone do a 3 hour booking. 2 hours and extended - yes. But three hours up front - no.  Be wary of people who are asking for long bookings first, straight up. They do exits, just be wary.

8. never go to apartment or hotel without apartment number or room number.

Good Luck.
