panpanda Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Hey y'all. I think we've all had our fair share of keeping a lookout for any potential red flag(s) that happens when we're going through a provider's profile. What are some of red flags that you look for as you're evaluating whether to hire or don't hire? For me, I check if the profile pictures are up-to-date and the photos are not taken with the quality of a 2007 smartphones. Also, cross-reference this forum. Y'all have been amazing. + Alabastrine Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) I reach out to the clients of a provider for feedback, if I hear similar negative input from two independent clients that's a red flag to me. It helps me cross names off a "potential" provider list, the same time it kind of sucks: one provider was really hot and I was so disappointed. Better safe than sorry. Decatur Guy Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Red flags: Profiles with just a few pictures and just a few words in the descriptions. Providers asking for a deposit upfront. Profiles with pictures that I recognize from five or 10 years ago. Pro-active complaints about clients. Super vague descriptions. Name changers (I don't mind one name change, but when it becomes a habit). Whippoorwill, + ButchAtl and Hen 3

jcmiami1 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Anywhere in their ad saying they love parties, have party favors aka pnp. Poor texting grammar and one worded replies. Takes hours or day’s between text messages. Over exaggerated positive reviews “amazing” “incredible” “life changing” blah blah blah. Multiple reviews within 24 hours. New on site but asking way above market rates. marylander1940, + ButchAtl, + Alabastrine and 1 other 1 1 2
Pepper Young Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Red flags: Poorly written ads: bad grammar and spelling, too much slang, it's all about them and their desire for luxury goods and/or money. Photos: None or just a few. Poor quality. Obviously dated. No dick pics. Poor reviews: Reviews by other clients that average less than 4.7. Vibe: Desperation. Not sexy. Whippoorwill 1
+ JamesB Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Constant profile name changes. Overly polished, edited or professional photos. Pic that by their quality or other clues are obviously old. Check for inconsistencies, like photos that don’t match the description like age, body type or seem overly generic. Vague or Incomplete Information. The use of words like VIP, Model, Exclusive, High class, etc. Asking for deposits or full payment in advance. Unrealistic rates compared to the local market or promises of unlimited services. Lack of online presence. Reputable escorts often have some online footprint or a verified social media presence with consistent activity. Profiles with only glowing, overly similar reviews containing words like Amaizing, the best in my life, etc. Very short reviews. Reviews made by recently created accounts or accounts that only have that one review. Several reviews within a very short time. Providers that take a long time to answer messages, respond vaguely, avoid answering all questions. Use of VoIP numbers. If something feels off, trust your instincts. Legitimate providers prioritize mutual respect and clear communication. MscleLovr, Whippoorwill and GymGuy 2 1

The only time I’ve ever been threatened was when a guy after a good dinner (on our 4th date, and at his request our 1st overnight) took some substance in the bathroom and then in bed started to complain that ‘the rich always get what they want’. I threw him out. Hen and marylander1940 1 1

Many times, we've talked about gay pornstars and escorts who died of an accidental overdose. I hope some on here think doing meth, G, and other stuff while hiring is the right approach to life. I think it's more like Darwinism. I think poppers are safe, I don't buy conspiracy theories about them and HIV, cancer, etc. Poppers are not harmful at all!

Commenting on the part of your post that I bolded, I'm always perplexed when I come across ads like that. I mean, even if a guy is looking for extremely wealthy clients do those clients want someone who's more focused on getting material things versus what they can provide to the client? I would think not unless the client wants to be "dominated" financially. How many clients are into fin-dom? Pepper Young 1
MuscSami Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Regarding things like deposits, in my experience. I do ask for deposits if: 1.) They want me to travel internationally 2.) They repeatedly ask for custom videos / replies to horny messages throughout the day. This in my opinion is a fair ask, they don’t need to pay it. However I’ll not be responding to messages like: “You have my new speedo pics for me”, “have you ever fucked someone so hard they piss themselves I really love that if you can do it to me”. These types of messages go hand-in-hand with time wasters, and I’ll not allow my time to be wasted. I’ll respond and engage with them to a large extent but they should be prepared to pay for that time. mtaabq, + KensingtonHomo, 1sight and 2 others 4 1

I do take an exception to marijuana though, especially if I have hired the escort before and feel comfortable with them. marylander1940 1
