Have I Wanted Masseurs Instead of Escorts?

I have a little story to tell here that's led me to wonder if all my escort hires have all been all wrong... Maybe I've wanted a "masseuse" instead?

Currently on a gay cruise. The massage appointments in the spa booked up very quickly, and are egregiously overpriced, so some enterprising passengers have handed out ads that they do massages for much lower rates and much easier availability. I did a little due diligence, reached out to one of them. 

"Is this a massage, or a 😉massage😉" I asked him. "Because I need a massage a lot more than I need a 😉 massage😉 today." He responded that he does deep tissue and gets knots out, which didn't really answer my question, but his rates were in line with regular masseuses and much lower than escort rates so I went ahead and booked it.

I get to his room, and yes it's a very good legitimate massage, getting me feeling very nice and very relaxed. Then I notice he's massaging my buttocks an awful lot. Then he positions himself so while he rubs my back, his crotch rubs against my crack. Then he slips it in.

"Ummm I didn't really prepare for this," I explain. "I didn't realize this was a part of the package."

"It isn't," he responded. "This is for me."

He was good looking so I went with it. Gentlemen, it was the most pleasurable fuck I've had in a very, very long time. I'm pretty sure it's because I was so relaxed from the massage that my butt was very welcoming to its surprise visitor.

Afterwards, he charged my card less than his usual massage rate, and asked me several times not to tell anyone because he didn't want anyone to expect that kind of service. So I'm inclined, perhaps naïvely, to believe that was legitimately him going for something he wanted.

I want more of that. I want LOTS more of that. Sadly this gentleman lives on the other side of the country, so repeats from him specifically aren't going to be in the cards. But my understanding has always been that a 😉massage😉 comes with a happy ending, maybe a blowie, and that's that. Penises in butts fall strictly under the escorts category, and escorts tend not to have legitimate massage skills. 

What can people tell me about this type of hybrid service, with a legitimate massage followed by a good plowing? Is it extremely rare? Have I been misunderstanding everything all along???

There are obviously lots of guys who straddle massage and escorting. So fucking may be part of their service but they're probably not the greatest masseurs. 

Then there are legit skilled masseurs who offer sensual and erotic options. In the UK they tend to give you a list of options in advance for you to select your preference. That seems to be legally more of an issue in the US so upsell during the massage is more prevalent i believe. Some of them will offer fucking as part of those services but often they won't go that far even for the erotic. 

Then the real rarity are therapeutic masseurs who want to have some fun. I've seen two guys like that over the years and they both became regulars. One who I still see now the first meeting was similar to yours. Booked a legit massage, no hint of anything more in his website and reviews. During the massage he made the move and we've fucked every time since.

I commend you, Seymour, for your detailed experience and subsequent pondering of what comes next. The key in your session with the boat dude is he told you "this is for me". He got his rocks off, and you got the legitimate aspect of a well-done massage by someone who wasn't an amateur at it. Win - win.

As for what to expect in the future from other masseurs, the expectation has become badly blurred due to erotic no longer being a listed possibility. If you take care of your body and/or are attractive in the face, and/or have a great looking unit, these are all factors that can determine if some fun with some therapy will ensue. Other tangibles are what his state of horniness is at the time you're being seen. 

I feel it's best to go the masseur hiring route, and see how it flows. I have no belief in guys who advertise as both, but are merely a tease for the purpose of simply being an extremely pricey masseur. SOMEONE is getting lucky, or they wouldn't advertise on the escort site to begin with - but that's their call. For those that have higher rates for an escort experience, that makes complete sense, and I respect that - so long as that's what you get if you're paying for it.

I don't think you've been misunderstanding things all along.  You just got lucky with this particular masseur.  When I was in my mid 40s and in better shape, I had a lot of masseurs who went further with me than expected in an erotic massage.  I usually didn't question it or comment about it, figuring that the guy was in control of what he included in his massage appointments.  On the few occasions I did comment/question, I got responses along the lines of what you heard. 

There is no way to arrange this in advance, though, because once a client approaches a masseur with this expectation he's basically saying, "I want you to do all of the demanding work of a legitimate masseur, and then I want you to fuck me like an escort would, but I'll only be paying you for the massage."  Sounds ridiculous and insulting, right?  But if you happen to be in the right place at the right time with the right guy who's interested in you enough to want to fuck you, then just enjoy the ride.

I don't think it's "extremely rare"..but as stated above, fucking your ass is the realm of an escort. You can certainly find a few escorts who provide a decent massage, but far fewer licensed masseurs who fuck for money.

The exception to that rule, in MY experience is found in Thailand where I've had many VERY skilled Thai massages by young cute guys who (for a nice big tip) would let me fuck their ass. As far as GETTING fucked, I think it's an anomaly in the massage industry. You just got lucky.

Thank you everyone! I'm very very willing to accept that this was a rare occurrence that's very unlikely to recur, at least not reliably. But what I'm hearing is that practically no quality massages come with butt stuff at the end, nor do quality escorts offer good massages? It seems like such an untapped market...

If you want to find a reprise/repeat/recreation of this type of event, you will have to do without the element of surprise. 
Cross-check between masseur platforms and escort platforms. 
You want skills - but the service you’re actually hiring is escort. In major markets there are many providers who offer both. Focus on the masseur ad for education and yrs of experience, guarantee of table, and description of techniques. Hire an escort session that is largely massage. Some have set combo rates. It’s not impossible to find something close to the pleasure of your cruise experience - even better if it’s not on a bed. 🥂

Very few of the massages I receive involve a handjob or blowjob; however, almost all of them include anal penetration by the penis, fingers, or tool.  I always prepare myself appropriately beforehand so I'm ready just in case. 

Then again, I avoid the low-priced rub-and-tug Asian or Latin massage parlors that are often mentioned on this forum by men looking for a happy ending and mutual touch, as those don't interest me.

I wouldn't say it's impossible to get both. Just that it's a unicorn when you're looking. There is also a difference in expectation in what people call a "good massage". Lots of men will suffer through a mediocre massage by an escort as a prelude to a good ass fucking.

I think there's a few masseurs in the city that provides a very good massage AND will top you. Whether it's organic or extra $ is a matter of chemistry and how upfront you can be. I've had my share both in spas and private masseurs.

In my experience that type of "hybrid" service is not that unusual. There's nothing wrong with a provider to like you and want to enjoy some of the fun. However, I'm not sure if looking for that type of experience from masseurs who don't normally provide extras after the massage will be a good thing.

I'd suggest to look for providers who offer erotic massages, which give the higher chance of getting good sex. BUT THAT IS UP TO THE MASSEUR. That's the tricky part.

You can also hire an escort and get that as a fantasy/role play. In my experience, that type of things do happen (I experienced something similar in Sitges, Spain in 2023), but they are out of the ordinary. I woudn't be pursuing that unless I specifically ask beforehand.
