Boaxxx Posted January 15 Posted January 15 What did you guys spend on professional services in 2024. I added mine up and was surprised that it was just shy of $3,000. Am I a desperate perv or just a normal guy with needs. marylander1940, soloyo215 and + KensingtonHomo 3

Am I a desperate perv or just a normal guy with needs. You do you my friend. Normal is subjective—it all comes down to what you value and how it fits into your life. If it brings you happiness or meets a need, who’s to say it isn’t worth it? Whippoorwill, big-n-tall, Johnrom and 1 other 3 1
Oakman Posted January 15 Posted January 15 $4,200 last year. Roughly once a month. It’s good to know what you actually spent so you can plan ahead and be sure that you can still have this hobby and also meet your other financial obligations in the year ahead. If you aren’t harming yourself or others, I suggest dropping the notion of being a “desperate perv.” You’re just a man getting what he needs to be happy. Hope you made some good memories in ‘24. ShortCutie7 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I only spent $660 (on a total of two meetings), but it was the first year I spent anything! I intend on spending significantly more than that in 2025. + ApexNomad, + Vegas_Millennial, Johnrom and 1 other 3 1

The question is how much income is necessary to hire regularly; but, the discussion includes how often is "regularly" and how much we spend on this hobby. marylander1940, pubic_assistance and ShortCutie7 3
+ KensingtonHomo Posted January 15 Posted January 15 It looks like $10,000 between massages and providers last year but there are two of us. Honestly I’m surprised it’s that much and will probably cut back this year. + Pensant 1
Guest Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I budgeted $150k and spent $123,000 of it. That includes the travel with providers though as I lump it together, and one particular boy I was very smitten with in the spring and a live in I had over the summer that I did quite well with.

That makes my $3k look like chump change. 😉 + Pensant 1

Mine are way above that mark, but like others, it includes travel expenses for my 5 trips last year, not counting escapades to other states. I remained within budget, though. Boaxxx 1
+ RyanDean Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I had what felt like a relatively light -- if quite gratifying -- year and my total nearly matches yours, especially after I factor in my forays to Adonis/BuffDaddy events. But that's typically not counting hotel/etc costs, because hiring is "an extracurricular" and not the primary purpose for most of my travel. And though I'd happily join the #DesperatePerv crew, I suspect I'm more of a #ContentedlyAveragePerv... soloyo215, Whippoorwill and Boaxxx 1 1 1
+ WstVlgChris Posted January 18 Posted January 18 8400, counting a couple of massages that were purely therapeutic.

I’m curious if this sum represents a substantial portion of your income—for instance does it prevent you from spending in other areas? Or is this your preferred extravagance?

Or is this your preferred extravagance? It does not. I’m blessed to have beat the game of life if the goal was amassing large sums of money. I’m terrible at a bunch of other areas, and “good” at best at others. I’m working to be better all around and I’d be lying if I said money wasn’t helping.
TorontoDrew Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I have no idea of the total but I figure just under 10k. Would have been more except for three or four last minute cancelations.
+ keroscenefire Posted January 20 Posted January 20 A little bit lower for me. Was in relationships for much of 2024 and didn't hire. I'd say still about 4-5K though. But 1K of that was just a threesome in San Francisco with two guys.
SeanBo Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I’m about 7.5k trying to add it up spurred by this thread. Nearly 5k of it though is overnights so interesting breakdown. If I take away the overnights I spent about the same as what I can recall for 23, 2.5k, but I had a whole lot more fun in 24. And to the original posters question, as long as you can do it without hurting your financial position, enjoy it if it makes you happy. TorontoDrew 1
