What did you guys spend on professional services in 2024. I added mine up and was surprised that it was just shy of $3,000. Am I a desperate perv or just a normal guy with needs.

You do you my friend. Normal is subjective—it all comes down to what you value and how it fits into your life. If it brings you happiness or meets a need, who’s to say it isn’t worth it?

$4,200 last year. Roughly once a month. It’s good to know what you actually spent so you can plan ahead and be sure that you can still have this hobby and also meet your other financial obligations in the year ahead. If you aren’t harming yourself or others, I suggest dropping the notion of being a “desperate perv.” You’re just a man getting what he needs to be happy. Hope you made some good memories in ‘24.

I budgeted $150k and spent $123,000 of it. That includes the travel with providers though as I lump it together, and one particular boy I was very smitten with in the spring and a live in I had over the summer that I did quite well with.

That makes my $3k look like chump change. 😉

Would you like to send the remaining $27k to me?  (Donations accepted via my Onlyfans or directly to my bank account). Thanks 🙏

You're a desperate perv, and welcome to the club.

Mine are way above that mark, but like others, it includes travel expenses for my 5 trips last year, not counting escapades to other states.

I remained within budget, though.

I had what felt like a relatively light -- if quite gratifying -- year and my total nearly matches yours, especially after I factor in my forays to Adonis/BuffDaddy events. But that's typically not counting hotel/etc costs, because hiring is "an extracurricular" and not the primary purpose for most of my travel.

And though I'd happily join the #DesperatePerv crew, I suspect I'm more of a #ContentedlyAveragePerv...

I’m curious if this sum represents a substantial portion of your income—for instance does it prevent you from spending in other areas? Or is this your preferred extravagance?

This topic is discussed in the Finance forum, should @Coolwave35 care to enlighten us there:

It does not. I’m blessed to have beat the game of life if the goal was amassing large sums of money.

I’m terrible at a bunch of other areas, and “good” at best at others. I’m working to be better all around and I’d be lying if I said money wasn’t helping.

I’m about 7.5k trying to add it up spurred by this thread. Nearly 5k of it though is overnights so interesting breakdown. If I take away the overnights I spent about the same as what I can recall for 23, 2.5k, but I had a whole lot more fun in 24. And to the original posters question, as long as you can do it without hurting your financial position, enjoy it if it makes you happy.
