+ Vegas_Millennial Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 (edited) I just learned that United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson voluntarily agreed to distribute COVID 19 vaccines at no cost to the government or public, costing the company billions in emergency funding, because he wanted to make sure everyone had access during COVID. He also infused cash into 300,000 hospitals in May 2020 at the peak of the pandemic. He was a stand up guy. They already started. Every news outlet refers to Thompson as a "loving husband and father" when he's really a drunken adulterer with a DUI conviction who separated from his wife 5 years ago and hasn't lived with his family in 3 years. The only reason he didn't get divorced was because he didn't want to jeopardize his job. So, the CEO's "imaginary family" is still doing its job of making him look better than he really was. samhexum Posted December 28, 2024 Author Posted December 28, 2024 I think so many people cheered about this because the wealth gap in this nation has become so nauseating (even more so than ever) and it is maddening to see how much some people make and waste. Perhaps that is why these wealthy people may be facing the start of an epidemic: NBA All-Star becomes latest athlete to have home burglarized with $30K in jewelry taken Luka Doncic has been added to the growing list of professional athletes who recently have been burglary victims at their homes. marylander1940, + Vegas_Millennial, pubic_assistance and 2 others 2 3

Don't worry that you aren't getting all the tests. If you can't afford the copay for the tests, then you most certainly won't be able to afford the treatment anyway. Just be thankful you haven't been gunned down on the sidewalk in front of where you work. No amount of copays can bring Brian Thompson back to life. Brainwashing runs deep in some. Stupidity runs deeper. Just because the epidemic ended doesn’t mean people are not still getting sick and dying of COVID. Some are more susceptible to dying because of age or underlying conditions. So don’t scoff at people who want to protect themselves. You don’t know what they are experiencing. Just last week I read the obituary of an illustrious Canadian who died of complications arising from COVID. He was wealthy and in his 80’s. He would probably have been the most surprised to die that way and at this time. I have known two people who acquired COVID in the last several months. The pandemic, not epidemic, has ended but the virus lives on. Edited December 31, 2024 by Luv2play Added details + DrownedBoy, seattlebottom, pubic_assistance and 2 others 1 1 3
