RM Expired Profiles

So, I have a question.  I have had a couple of providers that I enjoyed. When I go to the cities they were in there is no longer a profile. When I search All Locations using their profile name or hashtag I get 0 profiles. But if I enter RM/their name the profiles come up but say they are expired.  However, they continue to get visitors to their profiles. This happens whether I am logged into my account or not.

Do a lot of guys search for a provider entering RM/name for the URL or have they set up some kind of setting that shows me their profile expired when it hasn't?  Just curious

I enter their contact info and RM profile URL in a google contacts file.  Those saved URLs are hit and miss. Sometimes they show the expired profile and sometimes they show an error or “page not found” message.

A total guess on my part , but I always have assumed RM shows the expired profile if the provider simply stopped paying the monthly RM fee and shows an error or “page not found” message if the provider literally completely deletes their membership.

No matter how you find the expired profile ...as @BuffaloKyle mentioned, there will be no contact information remaining. So your efforts aren't worth much if you have no way to contact them. I keep my own files if I speak to someone who is interesting to me but I don't have time to meet immediately. I save a few photos and their phone number and details like home-base and "skills". I've learned years ago to not trust any website to be in charge of saving my information.

Agree 100% with everything @pubic_assistance says -- although I have also always wondered though when I see a profile that is "expired" and it gives you an option to renew the provider's listing, and if I was desperate enough to fork over the $ for the renewal, if that would get the provider's attention?

I don't know exactly how long an ad can be expired before this happens but if an ad is expired for too long you actually can't gift them a membership.

If the provider intentionally lets his profile expire because he's moved on to other endeavors, or he is active but isn't paying enough attention to renew it, either way I don't see a value in paying to renew it for him. If you desire to get his attention, just find a different method to contact him to cashapp him money.

Ditto. A lot of providers can get forgetful, and I've seen one who, once a month, always had his ad marked as expired because he took time to pay RM.

As far as contacting expired ads - I'd only do that if you already met the provider in person, and ask if they want to continue making some extra money. And even then, acknowledge that their ad is expired, and that you wish them well no matter what the response.

The RM message system still works for expired profiles.

One thing with expired profiles as well is that phone numbers will not show up on an expired ad. So make sure you always save a provider's phone number in your phone or in the notes section if you have them buddy listed on RM.

I’ve had some success contacting providers and starting with “I know your ad expired, but I saved your number and…”

I renewed a provider's ad once so I could get contact information.  He did respond and acted interested but whenever I suggested a time to meet up he'd get back to me after the proposed time.  I eventually gave up.

I'm actually thinking of doing it again with a provider in Seattle.  There are plenty of providers here with active ads, but the one you can't have always seems a little better.

I would never pay to reactivate a provider's expired ad.  I assume they are putting their time into other priorities if they aren't keeping their ad current.  Reactivating it may get a response but, as @Act25 experienced, they weren't invested in actually setting up a meeting. Even if they do respond and agree to meet, I'd have to expect that they probably won't give their normal effort for the session.

I have paid to extend an active provider's ad once when I had to cancel a meeting on short notice, but that was for compensating a guy actively working for the time I had to cancel.

The issue is that without understanding the reason behind the provider letting their ad expire, you're exposing yourself to considerable risk. It's impossible to determine whether the expiration was a deliberate choice or an unintended oversight. I wouldn't take the chance without first discussing it with the provider.

Can you update the notes section?  I only know of entering a note when you save a provider to your buddy list.   I know you can delete and readd to buddy list if you want to add the note later but it would be easier if there was an add notes button.

Yes, go on your buddy list page. You click on the "Add a Note" or if you already added a note whatever it is then below their picture. Then you can change and save it.
