I would say when you get priority scheduling. I can gauge that when I am able to do same day scheduling with a provider even with very short notice and never get canceled. Being a "regular" has a cash flow implication from the point of view of the provider (they will always bet on the customer who gives them sure earnings).

Exactly! If I can text you requesting an appointment for Sat afternoon, and really the only details we need to iron out are the specific time, I consider:

1) you a quality provider that remembers me and my needs; and

2) myself a "regular" who has seen you enough, that you remember me.

A regular is someone who knows me personally, who I know personally, knows exactly what I'm into, and someone with whom I have mutual respect.

It's someone that I can text, ask if they're available at x o'clock, and schedule with no fuss.

I'd say I hire a regular at least 4 times a year, while others I hire 10+ times a year. When you have several regulars, you can't see them every month, especially when they travel.

Is he also someone who shows up on time? 😜

When I give them a house key, they’re regulars.

I consider myself a regular to a provider who visits my city regularly.  He’d contact me before each visit so he can reserve the time slot that works best for me. There were times when he even arranged his trips and schedule to fit mine.

The corollary would be if you visit their home turf on a semi-periodic basis (and they're not a frequent traveler) and you usually try to schedule them. Noting that you're a regular visitor upfront may be helpful.

A consideration to be made is that long-term providers will ask questions that might get at whether someone will repeat. Providers who are in it for the short-term and those who don't want to deal with clingy clients will not do this.

I think "regular" is pretty subjective and might even depend on client vs escort. Like as a client, I honestly would consider a "regular" to be anyone I see multiple times a year. That might only be 3-4 times a year. But to the escort that could be just an occasional client.

Unfortunately I don't really have the budget to hire multiple times in a month and never would get a "regular" that I meet even monthly. But I have built a good rapport with several guys and definitely feel like we are somewhat "regulars" to each other. I definitely think about them if/when I am considering a bigger hire.

Sometimes considering someone a regular is less about how frequently he sees you, and more about how much he values your work, your time together, your mutual connection, and you as a person.

I went back and forth on some of your definitions of a "regular," but I certainly appreciate and agree with the one I quoted directly above.

After reading @Simon Suraci I should add that I purposefully avoid seeing any one escort too often, since I like variety. Then again, I don't exactly hire for a BFE.

and you tend to fire them if they're late, something that unfortunately happens way too often.

That's why I have a regular who works 24/7 and arrives within an hour. If somebody is late, they're easily replaced. A lesson in economics 😁

EDIT I actually have 2 or 3 regulars who are available and quick enough to take someone's shift. They get the money that the lazy escorts throw away.

2 or 3 regulars available on call but you also enjoy variety.

Good budget!

I have several definitions of Regulars:

I have a Regular masseur who I see every 5-7 weeks for the last 11 years.  I've invited him to birthday parties and we've traveled to Disneyland together.

I have a Regular masseur in Miami who I see once or twice every winter when I visit for a week.  He's been my regular once a year hire for 8 years.

I have a group of Regulars I hire every year at the Annual Palm Springs Gathering each April.  If they travel through Las Vegas, they'll reach out to me and I'll try to see them if our schedules align.  Otherwise, these are once a year Regulars.

I have 2-3 Regulars I see every time I'm in New York City.  I may go to New York City 2 or 3 times a year; or, I may take a hiatus and only visit every few years.  Still, I always reach out to my Regulars when I'm traveling back for a visit.

I have a Regular masseur who I only hire a few times a year here in Las Vegas; but, he'll text me every few weeks and we have a pleasant conversation.  I've seen him for the past 6 years.
