Hello people. It's me Gman.  Some may remember me. For those new to the site, I used to be a frequent poster.
 

I wasn't quite sure where to post this. It's certainly a weird feeling to know I was with him several times. Several years before this, he actually said at one point he wanted to be boyfriends. I was in a bad place at the time and willing to believe him. But he always acted squirrelly. I could never count on him. We never even actually went on a date. I'm fairly sure I had stopped seeing him several years before 2017 as he had moved fairly far from Tacoma. Plus I wasn't hiring very often my last years in Washington state due to being unemployed. I also remember at least one other Forum member had been with him in a scene involving a female.

Reading that story made me wonder just how dumb that guy is.  It's almost as if he was waving a flag saying "I did it" from the first moment he called the police to report his "concern" about the man he killed.

Drives up to the Police Wellness Check (that he requested….twice!) driving the victim’s truck
Uses the victim’s keys to enter the house in front of the police. 
and he transferred over $30,000 from the victim’s bank account into his own, after the victim was dead. 

The kid is a fucking moron.

We posted basically the same thing at the same time, except you listed his actions that made me come to the conclusion that this guy was a first class idiot.

I'm actually very surprised. I thought it was going to turn out that they were doing drugs together and the guy accidentally overdosed. The other thing that surprises me is that if the case against Logan was so strong, why didn't he plead guilty-assuming it might have given him a lesser sentence?

 

As it is, it looks like he'll be a minimum of 60 years old, and probably older before he's released ( I'm assuming credit for time served since he's been locked up 5 or 6 years already).
 

I just looked up capital punishment in Alaska. It was abolished in 1957. 

I know I shouldn't, but I also have to wonder about his prison 'life' He's a handsome guy-and was versatile-not that it would matter most likely if he hadn't been.
 

I'm pretty sure I remember that someone on here hired him for a scene where Logan brought along a woman, had 'intimate knowledge' of her. Then I think she left-and possible the Forum member and Logan played. But it was a long time ago that I heard the story. I might have the particulars wrong. (And if the person who told me is still a member - I've probably done wrong by relating the story here. But please, I in no way expect you to admit to it. ). I feel weird enough on an intellectual basis about having been with him. Emotionally I'm numb. Possibly I'd have more emotions if I had seen Logan more often or if it hadn't been such a long time ago.

 

I almost never delete texts. It looks to me the last time I contacted him was 2015. There are only a few texts left -might have lost some due to actively erasing or when I switched phones. But they don't refer to actually meeting then.  So I haven't seen him at least since then.

Oops. I guess that testimony made the intent pretty clear. With testimony like that, it would also seem to me foolish to take this case to trial.

In one of the stories, it mentioned that when he and the police were at the home about to enter-he had brought along a female companion with whom he was being affectionate. You have to wonder was he doing that for an alibi  to proclaim his heterosexuality-as in I couldn't possibly have been having gay sex with this guy-or did he  not have the self-control to control himself from canoodling even with the police present about to discover the body which he knew was there-both maybe?  I mean you have to wonder about his state of mind-assuming the verdict is correct.  And even if the verdict was wrong-he still knew that the guy had died and was about to be discovered. 
 

The more I think back to him-it seems to me that I thought he was ADHD-unless it was due to drugs or both. I know he told me he was on testosterone- he told me as I recall that he was hypogonadic. 
 

This case reminds me-slightly -there was that porn star years ago-killed someone with his female accomplice-I think in the Chicago region. He wasn't an extremely famous porn star. He was on Sean Cody or somewhere like that. He pretended to be British in those videos. And I think he had a DJ career pretending to be British. He was in a video with an escort who was once popular around here-versatile but mainly a bottom. I can't remember the name of the escort. He lived for years in Dallas -I think he was working on a Masters here. Then he moved to Chicago. He only did 2 or so videos for Sean Cody-or whatever site it was. I always wondered if he thought about the fact that he had had sex with someone who committed murder. Now I'm in the same boat. It's very weird.

It was a way to point he was born with many advantages in a wonderful country, and he sabotaged himself. 

If he was black or undocumented, many on here would point at his "condition" as a way to explain his criminal behavior.

I googled the name Jordan Joplin in Washington state and couldn't find anything about his childhood.

How do you know that he wasn't born in a trailer park to a crack addicted single mother?

I'm taken aback about YOU being so sensitive about the issue of ethnicity and all of the sudden being concerned about how someone's upbringing made him a criminal as if he had no other choice in this wonderful country. I'm glad you weren't a member of his jury, or he might be out of jail. 

He could have used his looks for good and make a fortune escorting but he took a short cut. 

Racism is having a double standard, I remember the Charleston church shooter being called "son" by the cops after he was arrested and they stopping for him to get a sandwich. I doubt a black shooter would have been treated the same way.

I wasn't disparaging his race with that comment but his behavior, and for the record many folks who are "white trash" won't consider an Irish Catholic like me and people like you as white.

YOU are the one who brought up the issue of his race.  NOT me. I am simply calling you out on your racism.
And don't fall back on red herrings like Charleston, which has nothing to do with this case. 
If you wanted to comment on his behavior, only racists would cite his skin color as an example of his behavior. Who else condemns an entire group for the actions of a few?
