Drinking urine is quite unhealthful, a well as distasteful. It is NOT a diuretic, as implied in that article. While anything one drinks will make one pee more, urine is hypertonic, meaning it is relatively fluid-retaining, like sea water. So, unlike a real diuretic, drinking it would be expected to raise, not lower, blood pressure. The whole purpose of urine is getting rid of wastes which don't belong in the body. Interesting to learn, however, that L2P would have drunk my pee if I'd drank my own... 😁

I always consider the source before consuming anything. That applies to piss too. 

Oh, and I have been doing it for over 30 years and am 76 and healthy.
