That's happened to me before. And several times providers claimed they couldn't find the Uber. One of them sounded angry and mentally deranged when he complained, so I didn't offer him another one.

@DrownedBoy, I don’t understand what purpose that kind of dicking around with clients has. And because he didn’t show and let me know soon enough, of course I was responsible for paying the Uber fee. Negligible compared to his rate, but still…asshole.

It's because they're multitasking and have so much in their minds, they can't focus on getting something done first because is a priority, etc. The younger they're the more likely to behave in an irresponsible manner. 

Some are doing PNP or they're not cut off for the job or both, sad but true!

I know escorts who are happy to be the 2nd choice after another one doesn't show up!

The risks are too high for me — even with those upsides. I sometimes have the money in an envelope that I just set on the dresser as I’m walking out the door so there’s no real discussion.  “This is for you”. 
 

Also sometimes what we thought we were going to do — turns into something more — and sometimes I want to pay more at the end. So there’s that. Paying up front doesn t make sense in that scenario. 
 

Bottom line: not saying you’re wrong - paying before just has some significant risks. 😬
