We have the choice to go through with an individual or not without to explain ourselves. For an escort to go as far as launching an app, manually enter your phone number to leave a review about you when you don’t end up hiring him is a bit petty. We talk about guys on here that we had experiences with, and that’s mostly what we talk about. Occasionally we mention if a guy is not responsive or communicative, flaky but that’s about it. But we are clients. it’s like if A restaurant would leave a fake review on you on Yelp because you didn’t tip well or canceled your dinner reservation. It doesn’t make sense. An escort acting like this tells more about him than anything else and if they can be identified I want to know. For example (and I am not referring to comments made by you) but a lot of comments on CoM are also very, very petty. Also reservation software for hotels, and hospitality companies with several sit down restaurants often have databases where they keep detailed history notes on customers with phone numbers. I can get in and out of many of those restaurants for a lot less than many providers charge.

While I agree that it is petty and unfair for an escort to leave a negative review on Mr Number for you not deciding to book with him, and that whoever did this is an asshat, the vast majority of the reviews on Mr Number are about people who flake, who don't show up to appointments, who don't pay or don't pay in full, who do crazy shit. And there are a LOT of them. Believe me. I would say 90% of inquiries escorts receive are total bullshit from people who have zero intention of meeting up. People who collect a pic or two and then block. People who make plans and then cancel repeatedly, or who play games, or send people to the wrong address. And people do waste your time - asking lots of questions and sharing their specific turn ons and then, when it comes time to make an appointment, ghosting altogether. I think it's 100% reasonable for escorts to have a means to warn each other and protect each other. I'm aware from reading this forum of the many horror stories people have of escorts being abusive, stealing, etc. But you have to understand that many escorts experience crazy shit from clients and would-be clients as well - theft, mind games, stalking. Y'all have this forum to look out for each other. Escorts get to have one too. It sucks that people may abuse that service to tarnish a decent client's reputation, but the same could and probably does happen here. + robear, BriansBodywork, MikeH10 and 9 others 4 1 4

I would suggest providers use a more reliable way to evaluate clients. Like checking if they have a premium account on RentMen and have plenty of reviews. Simon Suraci
I use other methods that I won’t share here, but also Mr Number. I take it all with a grain of salt. It’s not 100% accurate. Lots of the entries are from immature providers leaving comments for illegitimate reasons and I can usually tell pretty easily by the tone and language. I’ve run some experiments intentionally booking known problem clients just to see if the comments hold any water. The majority of comments are accurate. Some are not. I called a client out on his comments a while ago. He protested and showed me his texts with the providers that were clearly the provider being the problem. The client showed up and was not a problem at all. All was well. There is no perfect system. You have bad actors on both sides of hiring. Most clients are just fine. If you treat providers with respect, you have little reason to worry about getting comments. We use the systems available, imperfect though they may be. Providers use Mr Number to help keep one another safe and to help steer us away from known problem clients. Not just “annoying” clients. Plenty of those out there and we deal with them every day. Those are not a legit reason to post damaging comments. When a client is seriously impacting my business or my own person in a negative way, I feel the need to share it. I never add a comment because a client simply decided not to book with me. That’s asinine. I only do it in the following cases: 1) No-show with zero contact, no cancellation attempt, no apology, no excuse, no attempt to reschedule. Nothing but crickets for hours or even days later after multiple attempts to reach the client. (most common) 2) Abusive or harassing behavior, stalking (uncommon). 3) Violent and/or threatening client (uncommon). 4) Client intentionally attempting to receive services and not pay (rare). 5) Mental illness (rare). And I don’t mean disabilities. I mean someone who is seriously unstable, like they could be a harm to himself or others, unable to consent, or some other serious issue. Not generally “weird” people, that’s not fair. I get plenty of those. I mean something really serious. 6) Spam, fraud (unbelievably common). “Will you massage my entire boys sports team in one day?” lol so many weird schemes out there from Nigerian royalty asking for gift cards to female porn stars requesting massages and access to my payment information before receiving services. You name it, it’s out there, and it’s constant. Every. Damn. Day. If you advertise anywhere, you’re a target for spam and fraud. 7) Other extreme circumstances that I can’t think of off the top of my head. If you advertise anywhere, you’re a target for spam and fraud. 7) Other extreme circumstances that I can’t think of off the top of my head. A few questions. I thought that if you subscribed to Mr Number the app would log phone numbers that come in and you can only select a number from that menu and report it with or without narrative commentary. For example, the app was mainly designed for spam / robocall, etc annoyances. As such, you may need to keep a separate list of your own because you may get so many different callers you need a way to stratify problematic callers by number so as to avoid error. Can you delete from the logged list so as to avoid an accumulation of numbers not relevant for your purposes? I thought that a contributor in this thread claimed that any known phone number could be reported by the reporter possessing the app simply by entering the number manually. I did not think that was possible because I assume you must click and drag/insert within the app. Otherwise, misanthropic pranks abound. Similarly, if a problematic client only communicates through, say, Rentmen text messaging, or email for that matter, you would have no way of reporting on Mr Number. Right? You may never have access to the phone number or, again, in such a way that would need to be entered yourself manually (assumed impossible). I assume SMS text lands a number into the Mr Number app list? Yes? Few people make conventional phone calls, in contrast to robocall patterns, etc. What about WhatsApp (or Line) web-based calls, texts, voice messages? You only get an unidentified alert to check WhatsApp. (I don’t recall if the ID pops up if it is a WhatsApp phone call.) Would any of these modes show up in your Mr Number log so as to permit the option of a report? Edited August 5, 2023 by SirBillybob

Copy/paste. Manual transcription is asking for errors. It’s designed for fraud and spam and I use it for those primarily. The comment feature is what allows us to flag problematic clients. There is no button for that, just the comment feature. I make comments on my phone contacts and block there vs through the app. My personal lists remain separate from the app. Email and RentMen messages are totally separate. Comments are associated with any ten digit phone number, whether a private listing or not. WhatsApp I don’t use so I can’t comment. If there is a ten digit phone number associated like Google Voice and others, then yes. SirBillybob

secgoo
There's also a site called client eye or something like that. It's specifically for providers and apparently you have to verify that you're actually a provider to get a membership. Sounds similar to Mr. Number in that a phone number is uploaded and you can leave comments. A handsome muscular lovely provider showed it to me (I'm not in the database). I'll ask my regular providers if I'm in Mr. Number. I suspect these sites break loads of GDPR rules but I really don't begrudge providers having some level of protection against genuinely bad clients. My only concern would be someone like the provider that I had a bad experience with (without even meeting him). I came to this site to warn others then he started flaming me here. I wonder where else he has slandered me. marylander1940
