Clients asking about "your sexual adventures"

Recently I had a very good experience with a client and everything seems so great until he repeatedly asking about "tell me about your sexual adventures", "when did you last met with another client", "how was your last experience and when was it?" etc.. I find it is kind of awkward but I guess sometime people have that kind of fantasy. Is it normal that clients ask providers about this? Do you tell them or is there a way to politely hint that it is not something you want to share? I am very discreet and respect my clients' privacy too so never want to share anything about that but don't want my client to feel that I am rude.

Not an escort nor a current client. But I’ve known this to happen on dates with guys, sometimes in talk over dinner but more often in post-coital chat. I think some men are simply nosy.

My answer is to smile in response to such questions. I then say “I’m happy to answer questions about myself but that stops at the bedroom door. Intimate experiences are private matters”.

Some clients are definitely fascinated about sex work and they ask questions about it. Not necessarily to know about specific clients but I find they’re usually curious about things like how one prepares, finds clients, how many clients you see etc. It’s surprising what misconceptions people have so I’m happy to explain things if they’re curious but without mentioning names or revealing client confidential information.
I also suggest they read the blog on my website which has lots of stories about my experiences (all of them have had details changed or omitted to protect the innocent ….sorry to protect the guilty 😉).

Might be easier to invert the question...  ask about their favorite encounter...  their favorite porn stars... about videos or scenes they most fantasize about...   about random encounters they wish to repeat... about first time, the best time, the time they keep replaying in their mind, the time they most fantasize about,  about the one that got away, about someone they never had an opportunity to have sex with but fantasize about all the time...  it's almost a Miss Manners moment - just get them to talk about themselves...

I'm a massive introvert, love nothing more than listening to others talk...  and once, just once, an escort asked much of the above, and it was almost impossible to get me to shut up.... he was a regular for years as he somehow understood what made me tick...

That is very interesting perspective, thanks! My client is also introvert I guess and want to listen to "adventures", perhaps I can ask him about his to understand his desires and open him up a bit

Clients ask me the same types of questions at times. Sometimes I answer truthfully, sometimes with whatever they want to hear, depending on what they’re asking for and what they’re currently hiring me for. Sometimes what they want is fantasy and that includes some air of illusion about me, what I do or don’t do outside my time with them. Well told stories are part of the entertainment they want, whether true or fabricated.

With good, trustworthy, regular clients I am completely transparent. However, I never divulge remotely identifying client information. That’s sacred. Maintaining client privacy is very important to me.

If only I can share the drag names of people I’ve worked on because the names are so funny…but I won’t because it goes against my privacy policy.

As a client the reverse is also true. I find that some providers are curious to know what other providers I’ve tried and what the experiences were like.

Usually though, I’ve found that in the course of sessions, providers will often tell me about unusual encounters with other clients without mentioning any names. They’re all good stories

My providers often speak of bad experiences they’ve had with clients. I’m a curious man, so I enjoy hearing their stories, sometimes in detail. I rarely remember much afterwards. I rarely ask them directly, they usually bring it up unbidden. They’re also rarely in a hurry to leave, so it’s usually me who suggests that it’s getting late. I imagine they tell friends and other providers about me since I sometimes get “heys” from their associates, often leading to a fun session.
