He then intercepted the letter from the college to the agency and altered it. Without that job he may never have had the success he did. Big deal? He's an older guy who prefers college age+ but regardless still ADULT men. No different than any other older man chasing college+ adult women. Both may end up exploiting each other depending on the power dynamic, but it's between consenting adults. Pushback against the narrative that older gay men are preying on underage. It's a trope that has come back around. Unless someone knows Geffen has crossed that line, it's self-defeating to our overall group to continue to split hairs for purposes of this thread. Well, "exploiting" is a loaded term which I don't feel is helpful. When I was in the work force, were my employers "exploiting" me? Was I "exploiting" them? No, we were in a mutually satisfactory relationship. For me, "exploiting" is a term which should be reserved when one party either doesn't have a choice or is a child (or otherwise mentally incapacitated). Some might look on my relationship with my beau as being "exploitative," but we're simply two people who are enjoying each others' company. He's not "exploiting" me because he's young (29) and handsome, and I'm older and without my youthful charm. Nor am I "exploiting" him because I'm better off. We have a choice and have made choices which make us both happy and content. We're now touring the Kingdom of Cambodia, staying at an all-male resort (the King, who most believe is gay, has publicly supported same-sex marriage, though it's the Prime Minister's decision, of course).
