it looks like Geffen got carried away but then deleted the photo rightly anticipating the backlash. I wonder if he is ever on here sharing his adventures…👋.  😉 Just keep spreading the wealth, Dave. Have fun.

I used to hang out with Mr Geffen. Nice enough guy. We had mutual party friends. I was in my mid twenties and I guess he was somewhere in his 50s at the time and I too chased after the same guys Geffen liked. Young and model looking. Sometimes I'd get the left overs when they were dropped back off at my friends house. Lol

Over the years I've never seen him with anything but Pornstars, Models, and that one time with that high school football player dude back in 2015. The kid got a little too clingy and attached to him.

Never have I seen him with anyone past 30 and some body fat. Just seems like a very shallow life. Like a real life Peter Pan. When they age out they always get kicked to the curb.

However, like someone just said. He's old now. Not that many years ahead so might as well keep banging them hot Pornstars.

You'd think at his age and with his astronomical wealth, David Geffen could do whatever he wanted, with whomever he wanted WITHOUT APOLOGY ..  and certainly with no wimpy-ass deletes.

Actually there are still laws that apply to him as well. We're not living in the era of the decline of the Roman Empire.

In fact consider the case of Jeffrey Epstein. It didn't end well for him for "doing anything or anyone he wanted".

I interpreted the article to mean Geffen deleted the tweet because he didn't want it known he dated a porn actor. It's also hyperbolic and misplaced to compare an unrepentant child molester with a gay man. I don't follow Geffen's doings but I assume all his partners were adults and were willing.

Funny thing, I was looking at the photos of Donovan and thought I recognized him. I even recalled him talking about getting started in porn, so I thought, "he must have danced in Tampa." Sure enough, some quick googling came up with this:

“He used to work at the same bar as me,” wrote Morgan Le Shade. To which user 813 mento replied, “yes he did smh. he was a dancer.” Morgan Le Shade intimated that the Gulf Coast club in question was Liquid Tampa. Hunter Vance, whose Twitter bio lists him as a porn performer, then wrote, “Haha that’s Brandon I use to dance with him back when he lived in Tampa.” So LAMag got in touch with Vance.

I find it way off for you to compare Geffen to a child molester and trafficker. There's ZERO genuine comparison. Geffen is an honorable philanthropist who's used his fortune for good, and it's great if he can still have fun with another consenting adult who's probably at least 30 by now. I find the comparison to Epstein highly offensive.

You're taking my comment out of context. I was responding to a comment by @misterhumphries that Geffen could do "whatever he wanted with whomever he wanted without apology" given his weath.

No. I think everyone but yourself understood that MH was talking about consenting adults. You were the only poster to compare a wonderful person who's donated most of his fortune to charity with a disgusting child molester.

A "wonderful person" who dumps his male Lovers when they reach their late 30s.

Sure, @Unicorn

I don't see where MF qualified his statement by referring to consenting adults. And I was rebuking his statement which made the link to Geffen. I made no comparison to Geffen, a person I knew very little about. I had to look him up to learn a little more.

He may not be a child molester, but in many circles, DG is known as a world class asshole and one of the ugliest personalities you'd ever have the misfortune of being around.

And much to his personal dislike, old New Yorkers still call it the Avery Fisher.

Fuck Geffen Hall 😀

Sorry to hear he’s such a monster. I guess you cannot become a billionaire by being a nice person. They all have  to be soulless sharks to get to the top of the food chain. By the way, Alice Tully Hall is a different venue and is still there. The former name of David Geffen Hall  was Avery Fisher Hall.

I updated my post before the reply... Quite right, Fisher not Tully. Saw that just after I posted and quickly remedied that.

Richard Branson and Mark Cuban are proof, along with several others, that good billionaires exist. It's entirely possible.

No problem, just a minor detail. Hmm, I haven’t heard good things about Richard Branson either. One cannot trust the image their PR teams create for us, common mortals. But everything is possible, even the impossible 😉

I often tease a friend, who is now a respectable professional, that he was once “Geffin’s Whore”….he doesn’t think it’s funny.

Yeah, I can understand why he doesn’t find it funny. You might want to rethink how you tease your friend  😉. Is it true though?
