I will chose a Palm Springs provider off of Rent Masseur who offers "erotic" as an option, but I have questions as to what exactly that means. The line between erotic message and a Rent Man's services is rather blurry. Is it ok to ask the masseur before I book......

Will we both be naked?

I interpret erotic as full-on sex.  If you're unsure of expectations, I would ask to manage everyone's expectations appropriately.

I have the same confusion as OP, but your reply makes sense. However, I'm so confused by the focus on "massage" on that site, when it seems like the option for "Erotic Massage" suggests much more than that. Is it considered acceptable to ask guys on RentMasseur if they're willing to fuck?

In my opinion, that's not acceptable. The only think I ask about is if he is nude during the massage and if there's a HE. To me, that's an erotic massage.

Anything beyond those two things depends on chemistry and willingness. Nobody can predict chemistry and willingness. It's NOT RentMen. 

However, my "erotic" massages have included mutual touching, oral, kissing, embracing, and rimming. I've never asked for anything more than that.

If he mentions erotic or sensual massage then you can be comfortable asking him what he’s prepared to include in that. It’s best to be clear about what you want. Masseur’s advertising erotic or sensual will be open to most questions but if you want full sex then I think many would decline that because they’re not generally charging escort type rates.

I prefer clients to ask me about what they’re looking for because the term ‘sensual’ is very open to different interpretations.

Being a Masseur gives them polite coverage if they simply don’t want oral/anal sex with a client. This is why I hire escorts who are also really great masseurs , and discuss ahead.

The general consensus is that "sensual" is nudity and maybe a happy ending.

"Erotic" is teasing, edging and most likely a happy ending.

But nothing is written in stone and all is open for interpretation.
