Why do handsome young men end up in Dubai?

I'm always on the prowl for JO photos. Most of the men who get me off are Instagram or TikTok influencers, would-be models, personal trainers, and the like. Among the most handsome men, I see a massive number who post with photos of themselves in Dubai. Not to necessarily knock Dubai, but there's a massive number of places which are more interesting to visit in this world than Dubai--in Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Even within the Middle East, I'd be much more interested in visiting Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and even Oman. Yet I see photos of handsome young men far more often in Dubai than in front of the Great Pyramids of Egypt (or Valley of the Kings), Petra, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Sydney Opera House, Geiranger fjord, or Taj Mahal.

Do any of you know what or who is taking them there? Are there a lot of modeling contracts to be had there? Is there one, rich and horny Emir? Several? I'm mean here's a photo of Englishman David Birtwistle, born 3/22/90. He's mainly just an Instagram influencer who did a stint on Britain's reality series The Love Trap in 2021. He has gone on to amass more than a million Instagram followers. Why is he on a yacht in Dubai? If there's something you know which you'd like to keep private, please send me a private message, which I promise to keep to myself. It can't just be that of all of the places in the world, Dubai's where he wanted to be...

Regardless of what this photo says, his internet profile doesn't seem to indicate he's every really worked as a petroleum engineer....

Sorry, meant to post this in the general section. Maybe someone can move it....

How about Dubai's atrocious human rights abuses of their migrant work force. That or being guilty of showing any gay affection will get you a lengthy prison sentence.

I could care less if it's interesting or not. That doesn't speak of their character.

There are numerous Arab importers of gorgeous white men. I’ve heard many stories as it seems we have similar taste in men, though I can’t compete with the Arab hiring market. It’s a good life though for the boys that can get it.

My muay-thai trainer owns a fitness club in Dubai. We've chatted quite a bit about the place and yes...totally uninteresting. Like a gigantic shopping mall.  But they are all there for the MONEY. It's apparently a very superficial society and physical beauty is king when it comes to the social scene. Pretty pepe get connections and are paid tremendous sums just to show up at the right parties.

Those who escort can make substantial sums for one weekend with the right closet-case oil sheik.

I recall that you’ve speculated about Dubai and muscleboys before, @Unicorn

I’ve no idea why you’re so fascinated by the lives of those men, whose photos you jerk-off to.

@pubic_assistance is quite correct: money is the key.

Certainly, I know the brother of an Emir is gay. I guess muscleboys, personal trainers and models may get lured by the prospect of big money from closeted Arabs…but the smart and rich Arabs play abroad in Europe and the US, rather than at home.

Not difficult to realize money is the key.  @Unicorn

Don't disagree with the money aspect already mentioned that is involved with that country.  Emirates Air used to (may still do so) offer cheaper fares connecting through Dubai than some other carriers to your final destination.  Along with that Dubai offered quick stop over deals (Dubai Experience) with hotels that made it easier.  https://www.emirates.com/us/english/dubai-experience/  So it's not difficult to be photographed on the beach with the Burj al Arab hotel in the background.

I think it's the over the top opulence, whether they are going there on a "working" trip or not. I suspect also that a lot of the older men there are of a level of wealth that they can throw money or comps at a hundred guys in the hopes that one randomly puts out. I imagine there are probably a lot of clueless boys there who don't realize they're being stochasticly solicited.

It's the old guy buying drinks for every pretty young thing in the bar at much larger scale.

Money is why people end up in Dubai.

Because there's a ton of it and more coming out of the ground on the daily.

It's not just older men who have the money.  A lot of young, wealthy gay men who base there.

So have you been to Dubai? 😁

There is a Saudi on IG who keeps inviting me to meet him in Dubai.  There's never any mention of a plane ticket though.  I've been having an IG flirtation with a Kuwaiti.  I would much rather meet him in Dubai than the Saudi.

Oh, that's interesting. I'd never thought of that. There are probably tons of rich Saudi princes. So this Saudi really expects you to buy your own plane ticket?? That's pretty nutty. 🤪 I'd cross him off.

Levi Conely, another handsome stud, born 8/21/98 in Nashville, Tennessee, is another beauty who was flown to Dubai. Strange that whoever paid for his trip put him on Qatar Airways instead of Emirates. Probably using miles, or wanted miles on OneWorld.
