$200 for a massage on a bed?

Curious what people's take is on getting a $200/hr massage on a bed from traveling providers. First of all, massage on a bed alone is a put off, let alone one that comes at higher price point. I know of three traveling masseurs who travel with their tables, visit NYC every few months, and charge between $140-$200, which I'm open to paying. But I can't seem to get my head around paying $200/hr for a massage on a bed. If you have a traveling masseur on your rotation list who is worth that price point for a bed massage, please provide his link. Thanks.

You bring up a very good point for discussion.  That 'massage' on the hotel bed is in most cases not truly a massage.  Once the masseur is lying on top of you, massage leads to escort territory rather quickly.  I've been massaged on a bed a couple of times unexpectedly and I was not a happy camper.  My neck is uncomfortable and I don't like burying my face in a strange pillow.  Do you think the sheets are changed in between customers?  Not to my liking.  It depends on what you are seeking.

200 for bad massage = there’d better be sex

If you like all the variables it’s a question of what experience you want for your money. 200 will get me a great therapeutic in LA, just sayin

I wouldn’t pay regular prices for a massage on a bed. I’ve declined meets that were cheaper because the masseur didn’t have a table. 
 

I’ve been massaged on a bed twice. Despised it both times. Never again.

First of all I've never had  massage worth $200. And the above posters are correct, the bed further detracts from the experience. So unless the services provided exceed the topic of this post, I wouldn't even consider it.

Agree that bed massages, especially $200 ones, are pretty much a no go. But back when I used to travel a lot, very few masseurs traveled with tables. I appreciated the two occasions where the masseur did bring a headrest that was inserted between the two mattresses. Made a big difference.

Moving to the bed after the massage is for a different purpose.   🤪

I’ve only met with one traveling masseur who had his table with him. He drove up to SF from LA. So if you want to avoid a massage on a bed that will generally eliminate visitors.
 

I greatly prefer a table massage but if the guy ticks a lot of other boxes I’ll go for a bed massage. One bonus is it usually makes body to body massage more likely and gives easier access for mutual touch.

Within the massage category for me, “sex” would be whatever is considered extras - MT, HE, etc. Many masseurs show photos and give info that together indicate massage and sex are their package, and many clients have told tales about these encounters. Like full on penetration sex.

I was making a point that my low tolerance for the set-up would require additional offerings for the cost of the service. Back/shoulder work grinding my face into the bed? No thx. 

$200 on a table for good therapeutic (no extras) is good value for me. Love getting 90m, at spa I might get 80m for that. Rub-n-tug on a bed is not something I would seek to hire, and so far, haven’t. 

My fave is to hire a provider with both profiles, and I go with the best rec’s on the massage part. Pay the (Rent.men rate), get massage included. They exist in every market.

I've had great bed massages, that were both very therapeutic and often included penetrative sex.  Usually paid about $200 for 90 minutes.

Also, with every escort I've hired , I try to book two hours and ask if they can start with an hour massage on the bed.

I've had a couple of massages on beds with mixed results.  One very good massage when visiting NYC - the massuer had a fifth floor, walk-up studio and a knee injury just didn't make that an attractive option, so he came to my hotel and the massage was on the bed.  At the end of the massage, he indicated that he preferred doing them on his table as was able to move around me more easily.

I wanted to see Igor_Masseur until I found out it’s on a bed. A few reviewers said it’s worth it, but much like the rest of you I’m not a fan of a bed massage. I also wonder if the sheets are changed between guests.

FWIW, I recall that when Cristian from MIA would travel he would not bring a table.  I nevertheless routinely had a great massage on the bed of his hotel room and occasionally a bit more.  😉. Likewise, outcalls with Jay in Las Vegas were on my hotel bed and always were an excellent therapeutic experience.

If a masseur is charging $200 bucks for a massage, he has the money to invest in a table, and to rent tables when he’s traveling. No excuse for having a massage on a bed.

The only time I've had a massage on a bed it wasn't a massage.  One tried to start out that way and then ended up being something else, the other didn't even try to do a massage, just went for a full on escort experience...without the up charge.

This is pretty much my view, although I've met more than one traveler with a table.  As far as I can remember, most of my bed massages have been pretty good experiences, so it can happen if you're discriminating in your hires.

I travel with my table, it’s a much better massage on the table than on a bed. The advantage of having the table is my client can get a great massage and then we move to the bed. Best of both worlds, proper massage and then sex on the bed. 

Occasionally the hotel room is too small to fit the table (I’m talking central London hotels here….some even top end rooms are small or full of furniture..). If that’s the case then the bed is the only choice. It’s a different type of massage but still can be decent.
