RIP Guy/Daddy. Was sad to read about his illness and passing. So many heartwarming tributes to him here and well-deserved by him. He has definitely had a positive impact on me thru his websites and interactions on this forum. Sorry I never met him in person. RIP.

:oops:?

Yes I did and although it wasn't all warm and fuzzy, I got the impression that when @latbear4blk put all of his differences aside - and there were many political and otherwise - he came to a place where he recognized Daddy for the man he was and what he stood for. I felt that what @latbear4blk wrote was personal and heartfelt and wanted to share it with us. That was his genuine tribute to Daddy in his own way of expressing it.

Yasssssssss........

I mean, anyone who comes to this forum NOT expecting clashes of opinion from intelligent, educated gay men is, uh, naive at best. ;)

honest expression should not be dismissed. Daddy could be an ass. but he did good and deserves to be celebrated.

That's very true. It is evidenced by the fact that he allowed those who act like pigeons shitting on a monument to remain members regardless how annoying they might be (and how much we'd like them to target a different statue)

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;

I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.

The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their bones;

So let it be with Caesar...

You all did love him once, not without cause:

What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?

O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,

And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;

My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,

And I must pause till it come back to me.

Just now seeing this post regarding Daddy's passing. My sincere condolences to all family, friends, and those in our community.

His forum and website were a major ingredient in my formula for escorting success from 2007-2011 and I deeply appreciate, respect, and admire the platform he created, ran, and nurtured. In a way, he was the ultimate "matchmaker" - by bringing people together to explore their sexual desires, enjoy companionship, friendship, and human connection.

Daddy may be gone ... but his legacy will forever live on.

Here's to Daddy! May you rest in eternal peace, love, and happiness.

I just recently found out about Daddy's passing and it's taken me a few days to process. Such sad news. I'm not a prolific poster but I've benefited a great deal from this site.

I never met or knew Daddy but the sites he built and maintained taught me a couple of things:

1) I'm not alone; and

2) A good person can make a positive difference in a person's life, even if he's never met that person, by living his life and simply being himself.

Thanks Daddy and may you rest in peace.?

So sorry to read this news. Is someone dedicated to keeping this forum and the review site active?

We have moved the forum to a new server as of a few minutes ago. I have not had a chance to work on the review site yet. That will eventually happen. In order to do that, I'll need to setup a different website for daddysreviews.com since we don't (yet) control the domain's DNS settings. I'll most likely set it up temporarily as https://reviews.m4m-forum.org until we can get control of the domain's DNS.

I still need to work on a few other things such as setting up automatic backups, etc. I just wanted to get the site back online ASAP so I took a bunch of shortcuts to get things online and then going back to do the stuff I skipped.

Thank you for the quick reply and for your work as admin.

I was never a frequent poster and my visiting had declined the past year so while I knew Daddy was very sick I just learned of his passing. To all who knew him personally I offer my condolences. To RadioRob, Cooper, and those who have supported the sites in the past and future, I say thank you. And thank you for keeping HB's & Daddy's vision alive as well.
