I don't know how you remain silent in the middle of a great session, but I completely agree with @Benjamin_Nicholasthat it needs to be natural and flow, otherwise it's bad porn.  Hearing is probably the most under utilized and unappreciated of the senses to be stimulated during sex.  We look at visually appealing men. We have preferences for how they smell and taste.  We touch them.  A hot, aggressive, naturally verbal top brings me over the edge more intensely than one who isn't.

I am in complete agreement.  I am unable to control my moans and groans especially as I approach orgasm, nor would I want to do so.  I feel vindicated in the mutuality of the pleasure  when my partner is similarly inclined as long as the sounds are rich lush natural tones and not obvious karaoke.   As for hotel or apartment neighbors, I look forward to meeting them in the hallway the next morning and greeting them with a clearly well satisfied smile on my face and a deeply intoned "Great morning isn't it?"
