I'd love to come too, but I would wish to wait until there's a vaccine available.

Unfortunately, even this far in advance, I checked Expedia and a majority of the hotel rooms in downtown PS are $300/$400 a night due to it being Coachella. Still, I would like to come myself since it was wonderful seeing it for the first time in 2018.

How come it's always the same time as Coachella?

There are several major events in the Palm Springs area in the spring. Just about any weekend that is chosen would have a conflict with something. Oliver picks a time that works for his schedule and in my past discussions with him his primary concern is making sure to avoid Easter weekend.

This timing question invariably come up every year. Oliver winters in Palm Springs and returns home to the Midwest on the first of May. During February and the early part of March the weather is frequently too cool for a pool party. Easter definitely is a factor during late March or early April depending on the year. Sam.fitzpatrick is also correct in stating that during the Palm Springs winter season there is some event or other scheduled almost every weekend. Considering all of the above Oliver selects a weekend that best suits his scheduled return home which is usually the Coachella Weekend,

I realize that this is way early but since a question regarding places to stay has already been asked I decided to go ahead and post some gay hotel/resort options for guys who are considering attending The Palm Springs Weekend for the first time in 2021. If you are even just considering the possibility of attending I strongly recommend that you make reservation ASAP. Our weekend event takes place at the same time as the Coachella Music Festival thus rooms go quickly. You can always cancel a reservation if you decide at a later date not to attend. To the best of my knowledge all of the listed sites are clothing optional.

Warm Sands Area – The main advantage to resorts in this area is location, location, location. They are all very central to downtown Palm Springs’ restaurants, bars, and casino. It is also quite close to the restaurant where the Saturday Evening Dinner is held, the Sunday Pool Party at Oliver’s condo and the Sunday evening dinner.

All Worlds Resorts https://allworlds.com/

Desert Paradise Gay Men’s Resort https://desertparadise.com/

El Mirasol Villas https://www.elmirasol.com/

INNdulge https://inndulge.com

If I were staying in a resort it would be this one. Very popular with many of our attendees

The Hacienda at Warm Sands https://thehacienda.com

Probably the most beautiful of all the resorts but also the most expensive

Vista Grande https://vistagranderesort.com

San Lorenzo Road Area – These resorts are located in a very nice area BUT are rather distant from the Palm Springs City action.

Desert Sun Resort https://www.desertsunresort.com (This facility now appears to be coed)

Escape https://www.escapepalmsprings.com (I understand this resort is now closed)

La Dolce Vita Resort & Spa https://www.ladolcevitaresort.com

Santiago https://santiagoresort.com

Motel like but very popular with many gays. It is nearly as expensive at

The Hacienda.

Tortuga Del Sol https://tortugadelsol.com/

Triangle Inn Palm Springs http://www.triangle-inn.com/

On Palm Canyon Drive

The Canyon Club https://www.canyonclubhotel.com/

A bit “rustic” but very popular with many of our attendees.

Hope this helps and I look forward to seeing you all April, 10 & 11

I've just booked my room at Canyon Club for that weekend! I hope to be invited to the dinner/pool party everyone talks about. I would welcome any suggestions about going about seeking a companion for the event(s). While I have hired hourly before, I've never hired for social events or for an overnight or entire weekend.

Welcome aboard! Like everything in life, it's what you make of it. If you are easy-going and want to have fun, then a lot of fun you will have, and meet some of the best folks in the world. You won't receive an individual invite. Since you participate in the forum, just look for the notices that Oliver (our gracious host) posts on the forum as we draw nigh the date. Follow his instructions, RSVP at the appropriate time, and he will provide details on dates/times/locations.

See you at PS 2021!

As far as the companion part of the event, if you read the Forum (there may be a few threads) many of the individual companions will let it be known that they will be attending. Then you can always just look at the Daddy Reviews and the Rent.men site (or RentMen.eu) and see if you are interested. Then you can contact the particular companion if you have a specific date/time in mind and see if you want to work something out. Or you can always also just wait until you get to the event and play it like a bar. The companion may be available, be available for only part of the time, or he may have made an arrangement prior to getting to the event and not be available at all.

For me personally, most of the time (outside of PS Weekend) I hire an escort is for an overnight session. However, I have enjoyed not having anyone with me at the main events organized by Oliver as I feel it lets me mingle more and get to know folks better. I may have a shorter appointment with a provider sometime during my time in Palm Springs, but usually, I keep Saturday and Sunday open.

I just wanted to post this to let you know it is fine to come to the event solo, but it is also acceptable to bring a companion along.

I’ve actually only been one Forum Weekend. Since I was arriving on Friday, I didn’t necessarily want to have dinner alone so I made prior arrangements for a companion. We had a very nice dinner and a little treat for dessert! The rest of the weekend I travelled solo. But, that doesn’t mean that short commerce wasn’t made at the various events. However you decide to do it, you’ll have a great time.

The guys that work there are all sweethearts, IMO.

They are all great guys and although it is the place's semi-policy to have everyone stay out of the way if they see you over the years they definitely say hi. Also, if there is something in particular you want you just need to ask and they will see to it that you get it (even if it is something from town). The actual place is pretty small (10 rooms - 5 on each side with a pool for the set of five) so you hardly see anybody else.

I find they are happy to share a friendly greeting, but yes, they stay on task, zooming around to keep things in order and ready.
