Call this ignorant, but is there a point in a vaccine?

It's not likeCOVID. it's not a flu. It's mainly spread by physical contact, and in theory is spread as much by straight as much as gay sex.

And the symptoms from what can be seen as mild. It's like an adult version of chicken pox. It doesn't even lead to bad scarring, necessarily.

If a person is healthy, it will be a pain in the arse for a few weeks, but after that one is OK.

    OK.  Ignorant.

    From your own link:

"the skin eruption usually begins within 1–3 days of appearance of fever. The rash tends to be more concentrated on the face and extremities rather than on the trunk. It affects the face (in 95% of cases), and palms of the hands and soles of the feet (in 75% of cases). Also affected are oral mucous membranes (in 70% of cases), genitalia (30%), and conjunctivae (20%), as well as the cornea. The rash evolves sequentially from macules (lesions with a flat base) to papules (slightly raised firm lesions), vesicles (lesions filled with clear fluid), pustules (lesions filled with yellowish fluid), and crusts which dry up and fall off. The number of lesions varies from a few to several thousand. In severe cases, lesions can coalesce until large sections of skin slough off."

For God's sake, why wouldn't you want to prevent that if you could???  Please get in touch after all your lesions have coalesced and sloughed off.

As mentioned up-thread, some fans don't take kindly to hearing negative comments about their favorites.  Not worth it.  Not going to change your experience, nor the good experiences he provided others.

But it may help others who are considering seeing that provider.  That's kind of the whole point to this site!

  3. I really don't understand the reluctance of so many guys to post an honest review. Isn't that what this site is about?
Yes, everyone has a bad day -- we're all human. But in MY day job, if my team fails to deliver to our clients what we promise (it happens rarely, but it happens), I acknowledge the shortfall by discounting our fees and apologizing. So if an escort cannot meet his obligations, he has a duty to own up with the client: "I'm sorry I couldn't get hard or cum today -- to much on my mind -- so I am going to offer you a discount of X. "   It's the flip side of giving a guy a tip when his cum is dripping off your ceiling, the neighbor is complaining about the noise, and you're still seeing stars an hour later.

Thank goodness.  This leaves flexibility for some cities and states to be less restrictive, and meet the needs of the outbreaks in their community.  I'm glad it's not one set of rules for everyone.

Let us all be careful not to assume that someone who is young and in shape is "therefore" sexually active.  I know several young and/or very fit people who haven't had sex in years.  I, on the other hand, am middle age, out of shape, but still very sexually active, and was not vaccinated against smallpox.

I am thankful my city gave me the moneypox vaccine not based on my age or appearance.  I don't really look like the slut that I am when I'm in a government office.

I had that thought as I answered the question about multiple anonymous sex partners....the nurse asking the question looked at me like she was going to say "honey, your left hand doesn't count....."

  5. Got my first dose in Brooklyn on Livonia Avenue on Sunday 29 Aug.  Two things shocked me:

    1. the number of health personal staffing the place: I was asked the list of qualifying questions four different times by four different people, it took five to escort me to my seat, and three to observe me as I "recovered" from the shot. 4 other teams of three people each sat at desks and observed...no one.
    2. Which brings me to point 2.  There were at least 60 folks in white coats and surgical gloves there at the clinic, mostly reading their phones, and at most three gay men there to get their shots.

Come on boys, in NYC at least it seems shots are available.

Ok, I would not pay him $350.

Hope that helps…..but I’m still think my n=1, compounded with the vagaries of my own personal preferences and my own particular financial situation, make that information pretty useless to you. Nonetheless, you are free to use my meaningless data point in any way you choose.

Now if you interpolated your data and produced a multidimensional scatter graph with 5 or more axises….then maybe I’d be interested. Until then, enjoy your random data point in space.

    nycman = "no".

    You’re welcome

I don't think you really get the whole "market/supply-demand" thing.  It's not the vagaries of your personal preferences that matter to me. It's what matters to the provider: if he thinks there are enough people willing to pay $350 to get him in the sack, that will influence his pricing strategy.  For most providers, their only vagary is $$.  So those "useless" data points actually matter.

I also insisted on checking the two of us were compatible by saying how limited my skills in bed were (“I’m only a top, and I’m selfish and lazy”) and saying precisely what I enjoy (“I need you to suck me off to completion”).

Bingo.  For me, there are certain things that have to happen in order for me to enjoy: We gotta really kiss, I need to get into his ass, and he needs to cum.  And hopefully, he will at least appear to be into it. I have twice paid guys half the rate and sent them packing when they clearly weren't into honoring what they had agreed (i.e., turning their heads instead of kissing, or refusing to open open up down below).  I've given them half their fees and told them to leave.  Neither was happy but they left (it helps that I'm tall and "burly").

But explain to me why you would care what another John is willing to pay?

I care about what other people are willing to pay because it informs me about the market and helps me to set -- or re-set -- my price expectations.  It lets me know if I should stick firm to my own guidelines, or readjust them, ie if consensus is that everyone is prepared to pay $350 per hour, I guess I gotta adapt.  It's just one more data point.

This site seems less bitchy than it used to be (thankfully), but I still don't understand why you felt compelled to pick on Luvfurrytops for sharing his perspective.

  9. Honestly, I didn't feel even remotely sexual for weeks.  It's only after 4-5 weeks that the old levels of horniness started to reassert themselves.  It's tough to think sexually when almost everything you do -- sitting down, standing up, walking, laughing, jerking off -- is painful.  And in these days of the opioid epidemic, it's awful tough to get pain meds from your doc, so there is a great deal of gritting teeth involved.

  10. After 7-10 days of agony (even with pain meds) the pain starts to subside gradually. Six weeks later it is just mere discomfort.  There are other aspects beyond just pain (not appropriate  to detail here) but suffice it to say it is a lot to deal with.

I try to find humor in even the toughest things, and there was one thing that made me laugh: on my way out the door, the nurse warned me not to have sex in the first 72 hours.   If you had any idea of just how debilitated (and gross) one is even a week later, this warning would seem nothing short of ridiculous.  I don't think I even got an erection until about 3 weeks in.....

  11. "What incentive do I have to unlock my pics for these people?"
If you have enough business already, the answer is: none.  No incentive.
But if you are looking to win business (the purpose of most ads) the answer is: lots

Speaking as a potential customer (and with all due respect), I find the idea of paying to see private pictures in an advertisement to be completely unacceptable. It is an AD.  You are putting it there to try to get business. I am looking at it because I am contemplating paying hundreds of dollars to get intimate with you.  Before I commit to a meeting, I want to see as much as possible so I know we are a match.  I think it is better for both the provider and the customer if I am better educated about you before we meet.

And yes, a customer may be 500 miles away when we make the request.  Guess what? Customers travel. I always try to line things up before arriving, and that includes looking at the pics of potential hires.  A guy won't show me more pics?  Simple. I don't hire him. Next.

Finally, the option to click “this user has requested to see your private pics” was added by the site to make things easier. I used to write lovely messages of interest, but they NEVER got any reply or acknowledgement, so now I just click the button.

I am in a client service business, too.  My customers are often demanding, unreasonable, and occasionally I fire them.  But at the end of the day, they are my customers, and I do what I can to accommodate them.   That's business

  12. At the risk of sharing too much, I will offer this -- I recently underwent a hemmorhoidectomy, and it was BY FAR the most physically painful and unpleasant experience I have ever been through.    Ever.   Picture a medieval torture dude in a mask with lots of scary implements.   I did it for primarily for cosmetic reasons and had I understood what the experience would be I would not have done it.  As this is a family site I'll not detail, but PM if you are curious and have a strong stomach.

  13. Of course it's a thing.  I often need to meet during daylight hours, and it used to surprise me how often guys would give the Meg Ryan routine with moaning and panting but have nothing to show for it. A favorite trick is to "cum" into a tissue and then drop a little of spit to make it look wet. They are saving themselves for another appointment later that night.
