I am happy for you. One swallow does not a summer make - hope it is sustainable. Would you share a link to your rentmen profile?

So many gay porn performers have died much too young from unnatural causes. It can make me a bit uneasy to watch porn while wondering if their participation in porn contributed to their early death.

There’ve always been members with multiple screen names and there’ve always been members claiming other members have multiple screen names. GuyFromIpanema makes this claim as well as suggesting the person behind the screen names is still an active member. Included in his claim he states “…I can assure you.” I simply wondered if his other screen name was one I was familiar with and one whose opinion I trusted; nothing more.

I think that if you’re looking for therapeutic only massage then there’s probably more appropriate sites than Rentmasseur. Just look at the pictures on Rentmasseur, most of the masseurs are wearing very little and it’s clear that the service is more than a spa style massage. If you’re looking for therapeutic only on Rentmasseur you’ll not find it very easily.

Also if you equate a Grindr fuck with a session with a good escort or masseur then you’re not comparing like with like.

I was unaware of the specifics, but yes they did. They had agreed on one hour and a fee. Part of our pillow talk was me saying that if he was available for longer, I was prepared with additional fee as it seemed like we were both having fun.

As for who it was. Part of what made it so exciting for me was the thrill of not knowing. I told @Hellothat I would prefer he not share how to reach this guy, which allows this to live in infamy and remain unrepeatable for me as that “hot time with the blind date escort for my birthday.”

If they were to tell you the truth that they're no longer horny and just changed their mind about the appointment, wouldn't that piss you off more than if they make up some story about being sick or a death in their family (since you'd never really be sure if they're lying or not)?

Absolutely.  The fact that you had to insist sends an even bigger warning sign.  He should have realized that he was putting you in an awkward spot and immediately backed down.  The gender deferential isn't the driving factor here, but that he was deaf to that concerns me.  No one should be offended that you prioritize your safety, and if they are, good riddance to them.  Don't hesitate to stand your (public) ground.

Most who have quarrels like this are smart to not risk their case by commenting publicly.  Giovani is drama and wears it proudly.  I'm all for being who you are unapologetically. But a business owner being greedy is hardly a crime. Mistreating dancers - I can't speak to that.  If it's true, file charges. But the things that come out of Giovani's mouth makes me wonder who would ever put him in any managerial role.  Let alone one where he's the voice of a company.  He's had to backtrack and apologize a few times for things that fell out of his mouth - but the apologies seemed far from heartfelt.

His positive contribution was getting the club's social media up to speed.  Most clubs are way behind on their social media presence.  Boardwalk posts the bear bartenders doing a GIF in the same pose every week - as if that'd get me to go.  They don't showcase the dancers.  Johnson's makes a good effort, but could do more.  But LeBoy has been the only one that would entice me to go just based on social postings.  However, Giovani's personality just irritates the bejesus out of me.  If he had his way, LeBoy would've become a drag bar.  The whole tirade he went on a few months back about customers complaining about dancers wearing high heels and so forth shows he really doesn't get how business works.  He threatened to ban any customers who didn't like heels and dared to express that.  In business, you give the customer what they want.  You can express yourself and fly all your colors to the world, especially in Wilton Manors, at a variety of clubs and protests.  But when you're on the clock and trying to make a dollar, give customers what they want.

For example, one thing that always puzzles me about clubs like LeBoy is the insistence on playing music the dancers like but customers have to tolerate.  That's one definite strength for Johnsons.  They play a lot of music that is catered to the customer's taste.

Anyway, I'm rambling.  But a friend told me about this walk out thing.  I'd be surprised if it even happened.  And even more surprised if it made a dent.  I hope to have clubs like LeBoy, Johnsons and Boardwalk around for years to come.  The internet has done a number on the scene and it makes sense why.  Clubs have to step up and provide a level of personal service and an environment that Chaturbate or OnlyFans can't.

Saw him in Atlanta last evening under his RentMasseur ad. Agree with CuriousByNature12. He may be in his mid 30s, but his skin is so beautiful and perfect that it makes him look younger. Absolutely gorgeous man. English skills are weak, but it added a bit of sexiness to the experience. He has been in the U.S. for about 3 years before moving from Venezuela. Some of his pics may be from years ago, but he looks now more like his better pics. Don't miss him.

He has no one he knows he can borrow some money from?  He has no clients where he lives where he can book some business and make some money?
Assuming the guy is legit, if he is living that much on the margin I'm not inclined to believe that a stranger should send him money.  He needs to get a regular job, work on his skills so he is making money as an escort, work on his budgeting skills so he isn't broke, or whatever else he might need to do.
But I'm with most of the others who've chimed in so far.  The guy is likely just a con man.  If you are a sucker and send him a deposit, you will likely not see him or your money again.

It must be very difficult if your sole source of income is from doing sex work. I’ve been doing it 5 years now and I can kind of predict the revenue stream but it’s patchy and, especially now during a pandemic, unreliable.
I understand why Jarrod is annoyed at clients who are sketchy because you try to accommodate them, you try to be available but sometimes it just doesn’t happen. You’re thinking ‘ah great, I’ll hit my target’ and then they flake. Often with no stated reason. That can be really annoying if you have cancelled other arrangements to be available.
I get a lot of last minute requests “are you available today at 3?” for example at say 2pm. The answer is almost always “no, sorry “. I could say that I would have been had you asked yesterday for today but now I’m doing something else….but I don’t because it’s not worth being that spiky. I just say that it’s best to book a bit in advance if possible because I get busy and leave it at that.
This is a customer service business and regardless of how we think the customers should behave, in a customer service business the customer is always right. If they think I’m too expensive, not hot enough, not flexible enough, a bad masseur etc then that’s their prerogative. They interact but won’t book if my proposition doesn’t attract them enough. Clearly for me there’s enough clients who are happy with my package (me, the massage, the sex, the rates, the availability etc) that I get enough work to keep me in the business. When the clients dry up I’ll know to stop.
I do other work too (justforfans lol) and non sex work so that my income is regular. It’s too random to rely completely on provider work. I think doing that causes too much stress, hence the irritation that Jarrod experiences as a result of the work that has to go in to managing customer service. I think one just has  to accept that some customers won’t change, you can filter them out a bit by marketing, but can’t avoid them.
