PetetKsfo got a reaction from Whippoorwill in Providers who lurk here, what's your story on how you got into the biz
I was in in a contest to be a model on a non-profit/HIV fundraising calendar some 20 years ago.    I didn't get on the calendar that year, (I was first runner up) but after the contest, a guy came over to me and gave me his business card, saying that he liked my look and appearance onstage, and asked me if I might be interested in filming gay porn.
Around the same time, I also attended a weekend workshop with BodyElectric and loved learning about giving men a sacred erotic experience.   While filming porn is  a good entry into escorting, I liked the idea of offering a combined  therapeutic massage and sensual/erotic experience.     I enrolled in a full-time massage school program to learn the technical  skills of massage,  and  continued to take other male erotic workshops and training wherever I could.
I love what I do and the connection that I make with my clients.  Interestingly, I competed again, and got a spot on this year's calendar, coming back full circle.

PetetKsfo got a reaction from Simon Suraci in If the bottom does not have an erection and does not ejaculate is he really enjoying it?
I completely agree that each person and even each situation is different.   Sometimes if I am bottoming I may not stay hard but certainly enjoying it and putting all of my sexual energy into my butt.   But sometimes I will stay rock hard, particularly if I know I am with a client who wants to flip back and forth from topping to bottoming.       I love to go with whatever the situation presents.

I have had clients bring up topics  (particularly political) with a different perspective than mine.    They even assumed (correctly) that I would have an oppositing position.     I tried to find some common ground and assured them that I  respected their opinions, then quickly moving the conversation to something else.

My job for the time that we are together is to simply focus all of my attention and energy on my client, and to do my best to be in tune with him.    When I see that a client is timid or shy or uncertain, I reassure him that I won't do anything that he doesn't want, and ask him to let me know what works and what does not.    Communication and consent are key.      I neither want to do soemthing that makes a client uncomfortable, nor do I want a client to leave wishing that I had done more.

PetetKsfo got a reaction from + Vegas_Millennial in NYC cost range for extras
Greetings guys - I am a masseur on RentMasseur,  mostly in the Northeast, though generally not in NYC.     I ask a very  reasonable rate, and would never increase my price in the middle of a session nor ask for a gratuity, but hope that clients will take their enjoyment  of our time together into consideration at the end if they wish.
My experience is that a very small number of clients tip to the level that Frank suggests.   (Frank, I would be delighted to have you as a client.)   Most offer 20 - 40 above rate, though some don't offer any gratuity.       I am fine with that and don't begrudge.
One of my instructors in massage school used a really nice tag line:   "Gratuity is never expected but always greatly appreciated."
