"Museums"  can mean a variety and I'd like our US National Parks to be included as a point of discussion.     We have some incredible parks across the US and as avid traveler,  would be nice to be able to ask questions about a specific park.      To the moderators,  if this is allowed,  can you alter the topic head to include  "Museums and National Parks"?      Or a separate category on National Parks.    Thanks very much.

Racial minorities and immigrant groups are also feeling compelled to move (in cases where they are able) due to recently imposed legislation in their home state.  I guess it amazes me that in 2023 in the US,  minority groups in certain states feel they have to move to a new state in order to feel safe, accepted, and live an authentic life.  This is not a normal thing to be occurring in a developed nation in 2023.    

This is the sort of comment that is contrary to the spirit and intention of this forum, which is to celebrate and yes, when necessary, offer critiques of providers who cater to our interests. 
You have no basis to besmirsch these guys that for whatever reason turned down an opportunity to meet with one of our forum members. It is their choice alone whether to meet or not when they are contacted via RM. 

My grandma used to say that it's better when the trash takes itself out.  You haven't lost more than the time it took reaching out to them, and you have a chance to find better guys to meet up with instead. 

It's rather chickenshit and unprofessional to ghost/block you. But otherwise, be glad you didn't spend over a thousand dollars to find out they aren't into you. Better your ego get bruised than your wallet take a pounding.

I've had a couple that have smelled of cigarettes or weed and one that was clearly off his face on drugs.

I like to ask providers to not use antiperspirant or aftershave (after showering of course) because I want to appreciate them in their natural state, not tasting of chemicals. I'm genuinely glad to hear that you were not harmed, and I'd be a huge liar if I said I'd never had anything like this happen in my lifetime, but at some point I decided to start taking the red flags seriously and pursue safer avenues.               
I've got an occasional fb here in my town. We're about two years apart, both over 50, and while I don't see him often, when I do he always has a story like the one in the OP. The last one was really something else. Seems he chatted with a "young redneck kid" on Grindr and invited him over to his house for drinks and entertainment. Well, he said his guest was acting "shifty"--after he brought in their drinks he kept asking for more: more ice cubes, a glass of water, etc. He kept sending him out of the room. The guy I know said the next thing he knew, he was waking up on the floor in a heap not sure who or where he was and only partially clothed in a tshirt. When he started coming to, it was then that he realized his wallet, keys, and car were all gone. He was "almost positive" he wasn't raped. The police didn't want to help because they told him it was obvious this was just a "bad boyfriend" scene, how could he even prove the guy wasn't his friend, etc. I've warned him before about all the scammers out there, and given the amount of whatever substance that kid put in his drink to knock him out, he could have ended up dead instead of just unconscious. With the help of a friend, they found his abandoned car, keys, and empty wallet. I still doubt his desire for these types of boys is going to go away, even after all this.
We live in a place where there is lots of good dick to be had. No need to risk harm from a questionable hookup. Make good choices. Good luck to the OP moving forward.

I had a bizarre experience several years back in DC, and I wondered at the time if it should have been enough of a red flag for me to have left the guy's place. First, the provider let me know that he had been doing some work on a rental property that he owned, and he was going to be a little bit late, like 30 minutes. This did not bother me.
I got to his place at the new time, and he rang me into his building. His apartment door was cracked. He had texted that he needed to take a quick shower. I went in to the room he texted me to enter and got ready. The water in the shower was running in the bathroom next to the room I was in. The shower kept going and going and going: 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes. I didn't know if this was supposed to be some kind of a fantasy where I was supposed to join him in there or what. I just stayed in the room with a towel around me. Finally, after 22 minutes, he came out, dried off, and we started the massage.
The massage was alright, but that was such a strange experience. The whole time I was waiting there, I kept thinking that I should get dressed again and probably leave. I just couldn't understand what in the world he was doing taking such a long shower while I was waiting.

This was a spot-on, blunt observation...  Often my favorite kind.
However, I was really hoping the original story would turn out like a sluttier version of My Fair Lady, where Eliza not only learns to speak properly and converse about the weather, but to also be fully versatile in a gang-bang situation.

Just reading your post gave me heart palpitations - my Saturday night consisted of sitting in front of the TV with a pot of macaroni and cheese.  The disaster for me was not soaking the pot in the sink and now having to scrub really heard this morning,

Ack!  What an awful night. An NYC stripper that I’ve had fairly good experiences with in NYC was in my general area of Long Island working a private event and hit me up on instagram asking if I wanted to hang. I had no plans so I said sure. I picked him up and he was filthy from working and had no clothes. We race to Macy’s and played dress up. He’s gorgeous so I enjoy the process. We go back to my house and he asks if I have a hookup for cocaine. I do not. 
We go to a local dive bar and he gets a little drunk. He proceeds to ask the only African American at the place that isn’t working security to find him coke. I’m mortified, and this person happens to be on a reality tv show with a substantial social media presence. He goes in on me about not getting taken advantage of by this pretty boy. That my money makes me a target the way that his fame does and guys like us are prime Pickens for these predators, and  so much more. He’s clearly irate and offended and I’m embarrassed.  Then out of nowhere he goes “hold on baby I got you.”  Comes back 8 minutes later with cocaine for my date. So bizarre. I’m wildly uncomfortable and ask to retreat back to my house. 
We get back to my house and decide we’ll throw an impromptu pool party and invite Grindr boys over. What a wreck. Apparently when you’re drunk and on cocaine you don’t have the best judgement. He gets some hot boys over and feeling out of place, I invite a regular fuck buddy that is more normal like me that I’ve met many times. 
I was wrong. He comes over and apparently has a whole other side where he loves to get black out drunk, do coke, and get gang banged. Who knew? So this is NOT my scene at all. He and stripper boy are so wasted that the other guests leave uncomfortably. I’m the opposite of a greeter at this point, apologizing and ushering hot men out my front door apologizing that they left their houses at 11:30 pm for this chaos. 
I lock myself in my bedroom and hear the two of them continuing to party. I do trust them so I wasn’t too worried of having them with unfettered access to my house. This is 1:30. I try to sleep but can’t. At 3:45 my motion cameras kick on and my fuck buddy is leaving alone. Thank god it’s over. Nope. Stripper decides to try to come into my room. He knocks and knocks so I answer. I told him his room is across the hall. He said but I wanna sleep with you and cuddle. I said I’d rather sleep alone but to make himself comfortable in his room. (He’s been here before and spent the night before when I did a group thing at my house.)
I hear him pacing around.  I assume he’s cleaning up. He was not. He tried my door again and I said I really wasn’t in the mood to cuddle but thank you. 
I woke up a bit ago to my house being messy. Nothing is damaged or irreparable, but they were messy. I cleaned everything up, and the next train home is two hours away. At this point he’s still passed out in his room and didn’t hear me stirring about.
I have never felt like a prisoner in my own home with no idea how to get myself out of the situation. I’m sure there is a lesson here but it’s too fresh to have learned.
Finally, I have no idea how to compensate this beyond: powder at $140. Dinner at $120. Macys at $180. Train ticket at $22. 
I have two hours to figure out what this experience was worth. 
Oh! Final thought. At Macys I was abundantly clear in my expectations for the night, and none of them were met. In fact, as the night progressed, he basically did the exact opposite of everything I asked for. 
Thoughts? 

Short pockets of time here and there I find to read and contribute. A lot of the time I’m busy working. Currently on a four city tour and it’s been a crazy busy time. Booked back to back morning to night every single day for weeks now. I’m exhausted.
I enjoy learning more about the biz, trends, and how clients think. I do this for market research too. I’m also a client, at least for massage anyway. Sometimes people forget that. It’s entertaining here if nothing else. That’s probably the biggest reason I stick around.
Clients tell me from time to time my approach on the forums directly or indirectly influenced their decision to hire me. That’s just a bonus. I could spend my marketing time more effectively in other ways. It’s just a positive outcome. You can learn a lot more here than you ever could on a short ad bio, and clients like that.
Call me old fashioned, but I would rather read things here than on other major social media platforms for a few reasons:
1) No algorithms curating what I see or don’t see. Nothing reinforcing extreme content or views. If I don’t like something or have no interest, I make a conscious decision to scroll on.
2) A greater percentage of members are willing to engage in civil, thoughtful dialogue. More of us are invested in making our community better for everyone. Big social media is not like that at all.
3) The content is focused largely on shared interests and related niche MSM topics, more specifically those on hiring. That creates a natural filter for things I am more likely to be interested in, have experience with, or have something constructive to contribute.
4) There’s more space than 140 characters (or whatever limit du jour), and people here actually read. Sure we use images, but most of what we post here requires reading comprehension to engage. That’s refreshing when the rest of the world only has the attention span long enough to view a catchy headline or a photo.
5) It’s easier to search for and reference things.

Just following up that I wouldn't recommend this place. I was in and out in less than ten minutes. Just saving somebody else the hassle. I went during a weekday lunch hour.
