I'm just the opposite.  If the clothes don't start coming off during the first song, I stop at 1.  Period.  I'd guess that 99% of the time that's been a reliable indicator of whether the dancer is going to be generous with his body or tease me along hoping to make lots of $$ with minimum effort.  They don't necessarily have to end up totally naked by the end of the 1st song , but the willingness to do so tells me everything.

Yes!  The ease of doing it has varied over the years, but in the past 5 years or so,  a large proportion of the guys I met at Campus were available...and quite a few were advertising openly on rentmen.  Same was true of Stock, though my knowledge there is second-hand.  On my most recent visit, my first since those clubs changed ownership, I arranged my private entertainment outside of the clubs, so can't speak about the newest cohort of dancers.  I did have a conversation with one dancer at Campus who -- when I told him that I once heard the DJ announce that dancers were available to take home -- responded "I could do that".

I don’t lie about my age. That way clients know exactly what to expect both in terms of maturity, life experience, mindset, and looks. A gen Z mind is pretty different from an older millennial one. I think I look my age, and have no fear or delusions about looking older or clinging to youth as I get older. Aging gracefully is hot. I want to fit the fantasy that a client hires me to fulfill, at whatever age I am when they hire me.
When I state everything accurately and my pics are recent, there’s no problem. The people who want me find me and love my service. I can’t be all things to all people so I’m unapologetically myself. The clients who like me for me hire me and really enjoy the experience. No surprises, no problems.
When clients comment on my age, they say I look at least a few years younger than my chronological age. Better a pleasant surprise than a sore disappointment. Invariably clients say I look better in person than my photos. They also consistently say I have good energy. That’s hard to glean from a photo, especially from profiles with only frowns and grimaces (or face cut off). You can have great energy at any age, and that’s arguably as important if not more so than looking young.

Thanks very much for the report.  Pretty much tallies with my experience in June.  The same nostalgia that you spoke of will keep me going back, too, though I am cutting back to once a year.  Previously I was going every June and August (and when I first discovered Montreal, and on through the great years around 2006-7, I could be found there 3-4 times a year!).

Well, it happened again this morning.  While snooping around Amazon Prime I happened upon the movie "Cinderella" featuring (sigh) Nicholas Galitzine.
Unbelievable, he has been a competitive rugby player, he plays guitar/piano/violin, speaks Greek fluently, comes from a titled family, is a high-end fashion model, an able singer, an animal lover/supporter, and probably many other achievements of which I'm not aware.
This is one of the most intense infatuations I've ecperienced.  I hope it ends, or at least diminishes soon...so I can get on to the next one. 😄

There’s a market for just about anything, be it large or small. Niche offerings have a certain appeal. For example, the lunchtime quickie special appeals to clients who otherwise wouldn’t hire at all because they have a difficult time getting away from work, family, or other responsibilities. If that provider is the only one offering his niche service delivery model, he may get a good amount of extra work that way. Maybe he tends to be busy evenings and this is a way to make some extra during times he’s less likely to be booked.
Sure, it’s not for everyone, but I see how someone could easily find this approach worthwhile. Depends on what each party is going for and what makes sense for the provider to offer. Personally, I don’t see the benefit of a revolving door business model, but maybe this works well for someone else, especially if he is sticking with appointments that require less time to prepare, and not shooting a load every time.
Clients vary too. Some want multi-day blowout experiences, some want a half hour or less quickie, and then there’s everything in between, which is the bulk of the market demand. If the market supports you and you can make a good business from _____ business model, why the hell not?

I actually did do something like this,  during the past week.   It was the client I talked about on the thread I started on "nervous clients".
We chatted,  I kissed him and got him undressed and had what I call an "introductory session".   It was a little less than what I charge for an hour,  but I know he considered it an awesome experience and loved the blowjob.    I'm trying to create a long term client here and for me,  the positive nature of the experience was the single most important thing.    He won't be nervous next time.

I'm at a loss to figure out what this means. Will there be naked guys?  Dancers?  Possibilities for intimate interactions?  Or is this simply an addition to the bar scene on Ste. Catherine -- if that is, in fact, the location.

Once (and only once) had an episode of Micturition syncope in the bathroom after a session.  I woke up to find myself lying peacefully on my side on the bathroom floor; no injury.  Apparently I had been unconscious for only a very short time; my companion hadn't noticed my longer-than-usual absence.  I suspect that I felt faint and lowered myself to the floor to avoid falling.

You are right.  I was just in Montreal and spent three nights around the village.  I felt completely safe, saw very few homeless people, and never got pan-handled once.  I would say The Village has changed compared 20 years ago.  However, to me, it's basically the same as it has been for the last 7-8 years.  So I would say it's pretty stable now.
Like you, I don't seek hotels in The Village any more.  Been there done that 30 years ago but not now.  Obviously, to each his own.

I have an Onlyfans (and a Justforfans) and you’re correct that when you do a collab with a model you don’t pay them: it’s a mutual deal whereby you both get content you can monetise on your Onlyfans page.
There’s an interesting dynamic though in that the ‘big names’ on the fans sites tend to collaborate with other models in their league in terms of followers and profile. You contact guys to collab with and if they think you don’t have enough followers they won’t collab with you because they won’t get enough exposure.
You have to slowly work your way up the hierarchy by performing with models who are in your league or just above to build your presence. Luckily when I started I already had a couple of friends in who had a decent profile in the porn industry so I collaborated with them.
Basically on the fans sites you fuck your way to the top (or bottom depending on your perspective). It’s very like real life 😂.

    Here’s my tip.
    Money talks.
If you can afford it, finding a regular is easy. If you don’t yet have the disposable income to taste A LOT of chocolate, I think it is much harder to find a regular. I have several incredible regulars, and we prioritize each other. It took a bit to lock them in and be a priority to them. What did the trick though?  Money.
This is going to sound arrogant and pompous but it isn’t meant to. I thought everyone hired like me. I budget north of $150k a year for escorts and indulge a few times a week. When a session with a new guy goes south or is subpar, I don’t pay it much attention and just get excited for my the next one. When I click with a regular I wanna go the distance with, I don’t give up.
Only in the past two+ years from reading here, did I come to understand that that isn’t the norm, it’s the exception.  I truly had no idea because who did I have to discuss hiring habits with?  No one.

I have since come to understand that the vast majority of clients hire a few times a year, budget for sessions and save up for them. They meticulously evaluate profiles and interview providers and gather additional information. Most can only hire when they travel. They carefully evaluate what a fair tip is and balance the quality of the session with the additional reward. Some expect a bit of aftercare. All of these factors affect your ability to find and secure a regular. Honestly, I have no idea how you would do that on a budget so I’m not going to be much help if that’s your situation.
I will share a little bit about how I do it with no regard for what it costs. When I’m into a guy, I go hard on the courting process.
I often meet guys at the Adonis nude party in NYC. If I am liking the vibe, I offer to match whatever they make at the party to go home with me afterwards. Sometimes a guy will make $700. Sometimes $2k. Psychologically, a guy knowing whatever he makes that night will be doubled by going home with me locks them in for the overnight.  Now I get to try them out for an extended session.  If we have a great time together, I’ll text them a week before the next nude party. If they’re coming I’ll ask them if they have a hotel. If not, I’ll offer to let them stay in mine the night before, the night of and the night after. I tell them I’ll get a two bed room and only be there the night of the party so they can use it to recover their travel costs and have a nice place to host. No one has ever declined this offer, and no one has ever not shown their gratitude by climbing in my bed after the nude party.  We all know what we’re doing.
The next month, the guy I am into commits himself to fly in knowing I’ll cover the room with the same offer and instead of me texting them if they’re coming, they text me and ask if I’ll be going. Really it means “are you gunna get my room” but I’m ok playing the game too. We banter a bit and I ask what flight they’re coming in on. Then I upgrade their flight. All of these guys fly the most basic economy ticket they can find. Often they’re tall and muscular and flying cheap sucks. I do this with the expectation that while the guy is in NYC, he will try a little harder to make time for me. They almost ALWAYS give me some bonus time as a thank you. They’ll invite me to dinner before the party or usually breakfast after, again knowing I’ll foot the bill and I’m ok with that. I get a quasi BF experience out of it and now we’re getting to know each other out of a king size bed.
In between parties I’ll offer Venmo and cash apps for them doing silly things or sending me unsolicited pics and videos. It keeps them engaged throughout the month and the conversation flowing. We are getting to know each other and developing a relationship over text and I am keeping them engaged by sending a couple hundred dollars a week or sending shit from their Amazon wishlist.  Now the planning starts. They are more willing to come to nyc knowing they’ll make money with me. I’m excited to go to the nude parties because I don’t have to worry about kissing a bunch of frogs because I already have a hot guy that I’m into ready to spend the weekend with me.
From here I offer a weekend trip. Once a guy gets to travel in a bit of luxury, they’re committed. Then the invitations get much easier and it goes to “regular” status.
I am not sure ANY of this is helpful, but it is how I identify, cultivate and lock in the guys I want to consistently keep appointments with me and be regulars.

Just back from a  four night trip to Montreal.  Weather was mostly good with the exception of some storms on Sunday and showers today Monday.   I noticed no smoke smell during my time there.  Things were active in The Village with lots of foot traffic.
I visited both Stock and Campus.  I was at Stock Thursday and Friday nights.  Stock is looking great with all the renovations.  Stock & Soda seems to be successful...at least now during the summer.  Plenty of folks sitting on the patio part on the street.  The inside VIP room (Stock Speakeasy?) was inaugurated on Friday.   Somehow, I managed not to check it out.  Oops!  I saw the new owner, Danny, who I remember from his bartender days.  He seemed really upbeat about everything.  DJ Anthony also made an appearance on Thursday for his hosting duties of the Studio Show.    Stock currently has more employees than I have ever seen previously.   The current level of business seems to support the increased number of staff.  Although, Thursday was relatively slow.  Things didn't really get going till after 11:00pm.  Note the weekly summer fireworks have been moved from Saturdays to Thursdays.  As a result, dancers and customers don't really start showing up to Stock till after 10:00.  They had 10-12 dancers there on Thursday and some didn't turn up till after 10:00pm.  So it was fairly slim pickings before 10:00pm.  Alex the bartender was on duty at the main bar by the shower stage.  He is always good fun.  I ended up hanging out with Jasper & Eric most of the evening.  It was good fun.  The crowd was mostly gay men.  Although there were a few ladies there, they did not make for an overpowering presence.
Friday was a very different night.  It  was, of course, much busier at Stock as a weekend night.  Also, the women were present in force.  It felt like a ladies night.  In fact, when I arrived around 8:30, I was advised that there was a special bachelorette-type party going on and that it would be over by 10:00pm.  It must have started at 6 or 7 cause at 8:30 it was already well underway.  Former Stock dancer Parker was the host and he had 2-3 non-Stock dancers plus Gatuso performing for the ladies.  Several of the bachelorettes were brought up on stage and given lap-dances.  It was kind of fun to watch from afar and I assumed they would clear out at 10:00pm.  Well this pre-show did end as scheduled  and the ladies were told that if they wanted to continue on at Stock, they would need to go out and pay the Stock cover-charge and re-enter.  It seems most of them did that and the female presence just grew larger as the night progressed.   All the chairs closest to the stage were occupied by females.  Men seemed to be in the minority in the bar.  The dancer line-up consisted of many attractive guys (Jo, Jasper, Vinny, Gatuso (from Tunisia), Barack (from Costa Rica), Bran, Denzel, Miguel, and Santiago).  There were a few others there as well which I would consider duds...at least for my taste.  Former Stock dancer Tyler also made an appearance as a customer.  We had a quick chance to catch-up since I had not seen him since before COVID.  He is not currently dancing anywhere.   I had fun both nights. at Stock.
Thursday, I stopped in briefly at Campus between stays at Stock.  I seemed to be there during the transition from the day talent to the evening talent.  The daytime boys were largely forgettable in my view.  A few of the nighttime guys coming in looked interesting but I did not stay long enough to see any of them perform.  A couple of the daytime dancers were overly-aggressive which I did not appreciate.   Campus had roughly the same amount of clients on Thursday as Stock so , due to its smaller size, Campus appeared busier.  There was only a token presence of ladies at Campus on Thursday.
I returned to Campus on Saturday and what a difference.  It was packed with a whole lot more dancers.  Two very big body-builder types.  Also there were multiple muscular younger guys at Campus that seemed to be lacking at Stock.  I hung out with three dancers Saturday night and had great fun.   The bartender John was a hoot also.  He enjoyed gradually removing his clothes while working.    The former dancer red-headed Manager (I don't remember his name) was working Saturday and I had an opportunity to speak with him.  I told him I first saw him dancing way back when at West Side on Beaver Hall when they had strippers.  That's quite a few years ago now.  There were a few more women at Campus on Saturday than on Thursday but it did not feel overwhelming to me.
I did not go to the clubs on Sunday so nothing to report there.
    My conclusions overall:
    *  The Stock renovation looks wonderful and is bringing in increased business to Stock & Soda and also the main strip club.
    *  Stock still has to work on getting the guys naked on stage.  There are multiple guys (mostly the newer ones) that do not get naked.  Some don't even flash their goods.
    *  The dancer talent at Stock has improved over the last few months.  This is partially due to getting back some of the former Stock strippers that had stopped stripping or had moved to Campus.   That is all good, (and kudos to Stock management for achieving this) but Stock also needs to get some muscular younger talent .  We need to have some fresh younger faces to go along with the veterans.
    * Stock needs to get more dancers to come in earlier.  Many dancers not arriving till 10:00 or even 11:00pm  just doesn't work for me.  I like to start fairly early.  I really want to see most of the guys by 9:00pm so I can decide who to spend time with.  I would guess that most older customers 45+ (with bank in their pocket) would much prefer to have most dancers around  by 9:00pm rather than have to wait till 11:00pm to see the top guys.
    *  The Women at Stock.  Something needs to be done about this.  I know it's a difficult issue as one cannot discriminate.   But the women on Friday (after the earlier bachelorette event)  were the dominant force for the entire night.  I wanted to tip one of the dancers on the stage and found it very difficult to even get close.  I was told Saturday night was similar at Stock.
I hope to return to Montreal this summer.  I really really don't want to be spending my gay dollars in Florida if I don't have to.  I am happy with the great progress at Stock in just three months but look for further improvements on the items highlighted above.  I really want to return more regularly if possible.
