Monarchy79 got a reaction from Medin in Latino circumcised bottoms - the near impossible find
I’m glad you shared your personal desire/preferences , and I also think that some of the most intense discussions are the ones where people actually learn from the most. What makes these forums valuable is the authenticity in what forum members post.

Monarchy79 got a reaction from Your Man in Arlington in Is there recourse for getting back a deposit from a provider?
Consider this a nominal fee you paid to learn two valuable lessons:
1.) Don’t give deposits
2.) When people have long stories, explanations or exchanges, filled with “complex” matters and circumstances… it’s usually bullshit.

it blows my mind that people think that if they have someone coming over- paid or not - that you should have to consider whether you have to tell them they are walking into a space where someone else may be there or not: OF COURSE YOU SHOULD TELL THEM.
Jesus Christ!
if you walked into a providers house and there was someone else sitting there, unknown and unexpected to be there, you too would freak out or be unnerved, regardless of how sex positive they profess to be AFTER THE FACT.
have some basic decorum and manners. PLEASE.

I'm mulling over trying out two new masseurs. While one of them has good reviews (and the others none at all), I've read comments that are telling me to think with my big head, not my little one.
I can easily lie to myself and ignore the signs to stay away from them, or try them out and live and learn, or try them out and be happily surprised.
Has anyone ever tried someone they "shouldn't" have and been happily surprised?

Monarchy79 got a reaction from + BOZO T CLOWN in To providers : Do you dread a certain massage site's "discount day"?
Further, specific to massage…. It would be smart for an independent masseur to offer a discount.
1.) unlike masseurs and CMTs who work in spas and parlors , you take your entire earnings home, and
2.) you can literally control the pricing to offer what appears who be a “discount” and still get your desired earnings.
it’s critical to think strategically with making such business decisions.

I'm puzzled why you're uncertain about this. Yes, you should have informed the provider that your roommate would be home.

I am a client, and I just accept that there are some providers who are above what I am willing to pay. Nothing wrong with them asking for what they ask, nothing wrong with me not hiring them for it. Some have been around for some time, so to me that means that they seem to be doing well with their prices. Why on Earth will they want to lower the price? Also, not to me, but I have wirnessed others mentioning that lowering the price does not leave a good impression in some clients, as they take that as them cheapening themselves, disparate, or that there has to be something wrong with them, or that they are a scam.
So no, I am against lowering prices. If I cannot afford it, or if I don't find that price reasonable, I just move on. I don't think that either me or the provider loses anything for not having my business.

Yes you should have told him your roommate was there. Reverse the situation. Would you be comfortable if you were going to his place and unexpectedly found his roommate there?

Quoting a saying from the 1990’s,
you’re just going to have to “Charge this one to the game…..”

Sorry but it’s gone. You fell for his talk. There’s lots of debate on here about deposits, so I won’t add to it but I will say that if you’re given a ‘family crisis’ type story to justify sending money then the best and only sensible thing to do is say “I hope things work out for you” and then end the conversation and find a more professional provider.
