OCClient reacted to Luv2play in 2022 Palm Springs Weekend
I take it from your comment that the wind will kick up sand and create a dust storm, not unlike a snow blizzard.
The last time I was in PS many moons ago, upon leaving a restaurant one evening and bidding goodbyes to our dinner companions who drove off in the wind, I remember their car disappearing into the gloom where their taillights were swallowed up by the dust.
An eerie sight. Reminded me of Marlene Dietrich walking off into the sand dunes.

OCClient reacted to leeper in Reacher on Amazon Prime
Really enjoyed the first episode of Reacher; I remember Alan Ritchson from Smallville as well as Blue Mountain State in which he spent a fair amount of time running around in just a jockstrap. He was also recently in the superhero show Titans where he displayed his magnificent backside a few times. If you look on YouTube he also has some singing videos as well as an appearance on American Idol when he was younger.

OCClient reacted to TruHart1 in Nightmare Alley
I saw that the original “Nightmare Alley” from 1947 with Tyrone Power was available on TCM a week before I saw the new Del Toro version. The introduction on TCM by film noir expert Eddie Muller was interesting because he said that Stanton Carlisle (Bradley Cooper’s role) was considered to be Tyrone Powers’ best performance on film.
Del Toro did change a few plot twists but for the most part, the script of the new film followed the same storyline as the original. The original film is quite interesting, though a few scenes in the new version would have not been approved by the 1947 censors. Other than that, the newer script is much more cohesive than the 1947 version.
The cinematography in the new film version is very impressive and so much better than in the original, but that’s to be expected. The cast is also stronger across the board than in the original version, but Tyrone Powers was very good in the original, playing a gritty Carlisle, very much against the type of roles in which he had previously been cast.
The newer film is a beautifully shot film, all scenes in the traveling circus are in rain, every scene set in NYC are in snow. In NYC the interiors are gorgeous Art Deco. In the traveling circus, everything is wet, muddy and gritty. The original film is all gritty, noir, black and white cinematography, which works extremely well for the original script.
All in all, the newer film is much stronger, but being able to compare both films to each other was fascinating!!!

OCClient got a reaction from Jarrod_Uncut in Does the “All American” look appeal to more inquiries?
The standard of what's attractive is a good point.
Is that due to what we saw on TV (in the States) over the years. Is that changing now?
I love the diversity where I live and I also notice more and more hot guys on TV that are not white.
My favorite provider is black. I tell myself I'm one of his favorites too. 😉
He treats me well.
But to the OP, I can see your point, especially in places like Missouri.

OCClient reacted to Luv2play in Stormy Weather
My Storm passed away today, at noon, lying in the sun in the backyard, a place he has loved for over 10 years since coming into my home. It was a peaceful death that came naturally. He hadn't been sick a day in his life with me so I knew over a week ago that he sensed the end was approaching.
Having pets is great but losing them hurts. But the good memories will live on.

OCClient got a reaction from + Pensant in Do I take legal action or do I take the difficult "high road"?
Just guessing here, but I expect a judge wouldn't take your side unless you have concrete, documented evidence it has cost you financially, your ex outing you.
Again, I am not aware of the legal precedent for being outed. But since there is nothing wrong with being gay, my hunch is the next step is to move on from him. Sounds like that is what he wants too.
