+ DrownedBoy got a reaction from Johnrom in Why are some clients saying “I only pay in cash”, when…
The vast majority, if not all, of the providers I hired preferred cash.
Asking for CashApp prior to coming = a scam so obvious that even Grindr users learn about it after a week.

Okay, now I'm on to you. There have been a few long-time members who have recently stopped posting. I'm fairly certain you're one of them, as your writing style is nearly identical. A similar obsession with youth and beauty being the only currency in sex work.
Why am I not a professional athlete? Maybe because I don't like sports. I also don't hire "Instagram models" because I don't find that type attractive.

Girl, I don't know who you think you're talking to, but this response reads as a TROLL. You come in swinging on someone who is among the first to advocate for providers and - as said above - am happy to pay a reasonable deposit.
You have totally gotten the wrong person. There may be people like that on here but I'm not one of them. Rather, I'm an excellent client with several regulars.
This part, I believe. I'm an above-average-looking, fit, and fun guy of a similar age. So our experiences are bound to be different.
"The top of the food chain..." is exactly the kind of toxic thinking that leads clients to treat providers poorly.

I doubt if most would ever return the deposit if you changed your plans. Consider it gone.

Whats all the "you’re new here" bullshit.
You mean the longer I sit on a computer in my underwear discussing guys ill never have the nerve or the money to see that will make my word worth more?
Thats ok, you can have that. I hire PREMIUM and while I read about guys whining about a 50 dollar deposit I just send a guy 200 and that will get his attention fast. Money does certainly talk. And bullshit walks. I get the idea some of you are just hobbyists sitting around criticizing providers who you cant afford to see or they'd never give you the time of day anyway.
Im a below average looking 53 year old. But i pay good and im very considerate and that's why I think I always have a great experience.
I say lots of great things about the guys I've seen. The reason is I only hire at the top of the food chain. I always go after the upscale Instagram model looking ones and I haven't been disappointed in 20 years. It pays to play.

While it’s reasonable to consider a provider’s terms when seeking their services, your statement is overly rigid and ignores the mutual nature of professional relationships. Meeting a provider should involve mutual agreement, not unilateral demands. Both parties have needs, clients seek services, but providers benefit from the engagement too. Insisting on only the provider’s terms dismisses the client’s side. A fair arrangement balances both sides, fostering respect and collaboration rather than one party dictating terms.

I would probably break out in hives and have trouble breathing. It's been confirmed that I'm allergic to pussy:
To bring this tangent back to the original subject:
I do find it amusing that so many members on here won't let a man who pays to have sex with men self-identify as "straight", yet probably don't bat an eye at letting someone self-identify as a man or woman, etc. Seems queer to me

Many of my clients are straight when they walk through the door, but gay when they leave. Isn’t that fabulous 😉

I think situational horniness is more prevalent than just in jail. When I was in a geographically isolated prep school (back in the Truman administration), I'd venture that most roommates frequently jerked off together and often gave each other a hand, so to speak. I'd also venture that half of them sucked their roommate's dick from time to time (sometimes infrequently, sometimes daily or more). Nobody thought it was gay or embarrassing, though it was rarely spoken about. Only anal was gay. The joke we used to tell each other was "How do you know your roommate is gay? Because his dick tastes like shit."

I’m not struggling to understand anything. I understand people can claim to be whatever they want. But if you’re having sex with men regularly you aren’t straight. You can say you are all you want. But I’m not gonna get back into this thread. I’ve said what I’ve said everyone can feel free to agree or disagree 👍🏻

If the provider is somebody you are paying, he is not your friend. You may be on friendly terms, but that is likely where it stops. Confusing a friendly provider for a friend is likely to get your feelings hurt.
Most providers dont ask for orientation, so getting a reliable answer here is doubtful.

+ DrownedBoy reacted to Nightowl in % of clients who are straight
A lot of guys will claim to be straight because they are reluctant to admit to themselves that they might be otherwise.

Nope if someone is hiring me a man to have sex with them they are not straight. Are some of them married with kids sure. But they are bi. Or at the very least heteroflexible. Class repeat after me… if you have sex with a man and you are a man you are not straight.

Yup. I once met a couple boys who offered to clean my house naked....
...and I was just looking for a regular house cleaning! Don't ask....

+ DrownedBoy got a reaction from TorontoDrew in Providers, would you watch a porn clip sent by client?
If you send a video to a provider and expect him to take the time to watch it, you should at least send a token "consultation fee."
Otherwise it does look like time wasting.

+ DrownedBoy got a reaction from realestateguy75 in Providers who erupt about politics
I had a black escort start playing a TikTok (or similar) video with a guy lecturing on how evil white people are.
I asked him to turn it off. He complied. Good example of how opinions are bad for business.

+ DrownedBoy reacted to KrozzyKay in Why do you pay for sex?
1. It gives people EASY access to attractive guys through a straightforward, transactional arrangement. No endless conversations, ghosting, or blocking. Both parties know what they want and get exactly that.
2. Not everyone is able to connect with the type of guys they’re interested in, so this creates an accessible option. Men have sexual needs and hiring helps fill that void.

+ DrownedBoy reacted to NYXboy in Rejection?
its so funny to me to see the OP make a comment like this. I had a dreadful and actually scary experience with a provider in a VERY similar way - I showed up and he was high on drugs, aggressive and threatening me if I did pay in full (I did pay in full, after 5 minutes and left) and posted here to warn others, and after I posted the warning about it @PileDriver admonished me, telling me I should be kinder/how dare I say this etc. He even wrote another big thread called "Ugly Clients and Providers With Substance Problems" about how we need to be kinder to drug addicts who threaten us. This has now given me the biggest chuckle.
I guess he only gets upset or thinks people need warnings when it happens to him.

+ DrownedBoy reacted to + Scott Carroll in Has a provider ever shown up unannounced at your door step?
Not a provider but a man with whom I met through the old CL showed up at my door unannounced on a Saturday after I blew him earlier in the week. My husband answered the door and asked him what he wanted and he said he was looking for "Scott." My husband told him that I wasn't home and he was not amused for several days afterwards. I continued to service "Bill" for quite a few years after that!!! He loved getting his hot love hole ate out! He was a sweetheart and I really liked him too!

+ DrownedBoy reacted to jeezifonly in Do you share the fact that you hire?
I don't think it's something I would share in a work situation, or even in casual conversation with friends.
I prefer using it only as the subject-changer at the uncomfortable family Thanksgiving dinner table. Embellishing the newest story, gesturing with a turkey leg, always does the trick.

+ DrownedBoy reacted to BuffaloKyle in Do you share the fact that you hire?
I think a big misunderstanding for uneducated folks is that the providers are all druggies or homeless or full of diseases.
