Well that idiot got his first RM review, and it's 1 star. At least that should keep him out of trouble for awhile.

Escorts for "general companionship" (no sex)
+ DrownedBoy replied to ICTJOCK's topic in Questions About Hiring
It looks like escorts get hired for companionship all the time. However, I don't think RM/FB is the place to advertise if that's the only thing you're offering. A guy in Chicago put out an RM ad for that a few years ago. The ad was gone after one month with no reviews. -
I dated an escort back when I was, say, 22 or 23. However, this was years before I began to hire; we just hit it off after meeting in public. I had a sugar daddy in college, so I didn't see anything wrong with it. Unfortunately, my censorious "friends" did care (including 2 guys who had a sugar daddy at the time!), and ostracized me from the local (and small) gay community until we broke up (EDIT: this was a small town, decades ago; first job out of college). I later dumped all those "friends." I regret not dumping them earlier, and I was very glad when one of them ended up in prison for stealing money meant for AIDS education.

That's why I deleted the post.... This is not to say I don't expect stings for male prostitution to increase. Those sheriffs running for office in MAGAland need to show off.

This. I personally find at-home visits to be safer. Probably because anyone walking into my condo walks directly in front of a clearly visible security camera. If a provider is well-reviewed and such, and has a large number of such votes, it's probably safe. But yes - for Christ's sake - hide your wallet and stuff. And keep at least your phone handy - most would run the moment you dial 911. I would also keep a means of defense nearby, but don't let the provider see it, or they might get freaked out.

My nearby dispensary recommends a hybrid strain for arousal, vaped. EDIT: This works for me; only need a couple puffs. I wouldn't recommend any more if you want to come. The first time I ever tried an edible (10 mg), I got so horny I called my closest regular over right afterwards, and had a good time. However, when I tried to repeat, it didn't work, but just made me sleepy. Edibles are too unreliable in dosage, compounded with the fact they last waaay too long.

"I" and "O" are right next to each other on QWERTY.

3 ounces! That's 1.5 shot glasses of ice cream.

Nice name. If he's part of the NES generation (and his age suggests it), I might guess the source.

I had a regular fake an orgasm once. I told him he was sweet, but he didn't need to.

There are too many ways to hack an account to narrow it down. Most likely your username \password got leaked from a site where you use the same EDIT or similar password. Always use different and hard passwords on any financial account.

I had non English speakers who had helpers, but I don't think they were managed. If a escort fed me the same line as the OP, I'd smile outwardly and dismiss it as bullshit inwardly. It sounds like an attempt to exaggerate his popularity and intimidate. I've heard BS like that before, from escorts who proved untrustworthy.

It's been said many times. A good regular will grandfather in your rate. A bad one won't (personal experience). That being said, a client in this situation should be generous in other matters, like tips or more regular patronage.

I've met a "bisexual" escort who kept talking to himself about his "girlfriend" even when I had him in my mouth. He kept moaning, "Oh man, I really wish I was with a woman." I thought it was both creepy and insulting, and couldn't get rid of him quickly enough.

I understand the agreement, but I'll never understand why clients "require" that a provider comes. There's too many factors beyond everyone's control. I'd say offer a decent tip if they come. Nobody would agree to an hour of work where they might not get paid.

The proof is in the pudding, but if they don't bother responding to you (even to say they're busy), it doesn't matter.

100 lb? I'm tempted to send him a restaurant gift card.

Finding Talent at a Bodybuilding Competition
+ DrownedBoy replied to Hot4latin's topic in Questions About Hiring
On the hookups apps, did you mention you're generous? They probably get regular EDIT propositions every day. -
I need to see if the client has facial hair. So a headless shot is unlikely to get my interest. I might send them an RM text asking for a face pic, but if they need a text, sorry, there's a couple hundred other guys who want my money. If you're that fearful of being identified, neither a client nor provider be.
-
I once tried to follow a recommendation, but I found the provider to be an egotistical fast talker trying to get more money. Pass. Everyone has their own tastes...and unnegotiatable dislikes. What one person puts up with, another won't.
-
I did give a second chance to a provider who robbed me at the second visit. So, no. Supply and demand are on my side.

Finding Talent at a Bodybuilding Competition
+ DrownedBoy replied to Hot4latin's topic in Questions About Hiring
Bodybuilders at competitions need sponsors. And gay men are no strangers at such competitions. Nothing wrong with asking. However, I wouldn't approach a bodybuilder directly at a competition. Find another way to contact them. They need the money, but they don't want others knowing. -
Lookin' good as they say.... Basstiann on Rent Men
+ DrownedBoy replied to KevinHere's topic in The Deli
Ditto. That usually says the escort is more exclusive. I respect it, and politely cross such escorts off my list. If you won't unlock for a Premium member, you're a fool. -
Time use when with clients…”on the clock”

Maybe it will become a better mindset when they come out with AI-powered sexbots. -
It's been answered several times - it requires skills beyond just being sexy. I know of no online site or book that tells providers the basics on getting started, what to expect, how to deal with the steady stream of texts, of which only some are valid offers, etc. In my opinion, in the U.S., law and public opinion are the biggest obstacles. In addition to removing and opportunities for proper training and protection, it makes working in the industry too risky. It's a lot rarer today to see gay prostitution stings, but the whole "sex trafficking" bullshit makes it a PR nightmare for a company to hire people in the industry. It's easier - again, as someone mentioned - for college students to work out a "Seeking Arrangements" position. From personal experience, I can say it's a much easier path, you're more likely to have friends who can tell you about it and give useful advise, it's a lot less risky, and it is (or was) considered more "socially acceptable" for both parties involved. EDIT: To clarify: SA (or FB) weren't around when I was in college. We used traditional "social networks" to pass word about interested, rich, gay alumni. This only made the whole process safer.
