  1. No...we crushed on any guys, not knowing if they were straight (or just assuming). It's too bad I grew up in a less accepting era, since a lot of guys I grew up with came out later. I'm sure my personality would be a lot different if I had a boyfriend in junior high. It still blows my mind when I hear about same sex dating in high schools today.
  2. Nobody never asked me that. However, cops, as I understand, need to get providers to explicitly state they're providing sex for money. I'm into role playing and not oral/anal, so it would be rather difficult to label anything I do with providers as "sex."
  3. I don't like keeping providers hanging with "let you know" phrases. A firm answer is easier. Since the recession started, I'll be more specific, such as, "Sorry, I guess you're too high class for me." Markets work best when clear price signals get sent. Enough signals like that, and either providers drop their rates or drop out of escorting.
  4. Absolutely not. I don't need to be with a guy who finds spending time together disgusting. Besides, straight guys never kiss, which is a deal breaker for me.
  5. As a client, I always found it low-class to offer less than a provider asks for. They ask for what they want, and I say yay or nay. Only once have I downright told someone their rates were too high, and quoted one of my regulars' rates, and gotten a counter offer I would accept. I'm leery of counteroffers since there might be resentment on the provider's part.
  6. Oh, I don't use Friendboy for the higher class escorts...
  7. I've only hired once from those places (guy on Friendboy who also used to be on Mintboys) because they were really local. I got lucky and added a regular for now.
  8. I'll have to be careful with post pandemic newbies. Before the pandemic, as I mentioned, new kids with no record would go on RM thinking they're worth 300-350. Now that they have massive competition and fewer clients, I'll have even less patience with that type.
  9. Believe me, every single business in the country is determined to get a better deal. Businesses hated the past 2 years, when it was hard to find workers. Now they have their pick of desperate unemployed people, while they can threaten to lay off their existing ones. It's how the world works, no matter what business you're in.
  10. In my line of work, it's not uncommon to see people come into the office with the flu and such. I've always said that this in itself could infect a chain of carriers and eventually kill someone. Hopefully after Covid, businesses will wise up to all the lost productivity they incur by forcing people to come in sick. However, it's near impossible to prove that you caught an airborne disease from a specific person.
  11. Hate to say it, but so many states are opening everything ahead of time that we'll probably have a second peak (and shutdowns) later this year, worse than the current one.
  12. I won't be hiring anyone who won't kiss either. I'll probably follow whatever guidelines my state establishes. One thing I'll need to do is wait between meetups until new cases are down or testing becomes available. There's no way I'm meeting more than once every 14 days. I work from home alone right now, and due to my age and health, am at extremely low risk of getting seriously ill. But I don't want to spread anything beyond myself.
  13. Exactly. Combined with older clients too afraid or sick to hire, demand will plummet, while supply increases. The new normal will be to drop rates or drop out of escorting. And if you think white collar employees are exempt, you don't know jack about economics. That's the coming second wave of layoffs. Even my firm instituted a wage freeze, a hiring freeze, and no bonuses for the year.
  14. Pass! Anyone who quotes me over 300 is going to get a sharp "uh, you know we're in the middle of a global recession. " If my boss can use that line, so can I.
  15. One of my repeat hires insists on keeping his cell on hand for "safety" reasons...
  16. Anyone use marijuana? Some guys swear by it. I tried it several times, and while it can get you horny, it's really hard to get off. At least for me.
  17. That's never. Don't forget the regular flu can kill you too.
  18. I'm willing to hire once the legal lock down in my state is lifted, so not until June. However, like others mentioned, there are uncertain economic times. My firm claims there's no layoffs coming, nor were there any back in 2008, but the current financial mess has no precedent unless you go back to 1929. It will take years to get back to normal, if it ever does. So I'll also be cutting back and saving money like crazy. I imagine I'll meet with a trusted regular when the lock down ends (I'm a lot younger than most clients and am at very low risk of getting seriously ill), but I'm not going crazy or spending as much as before. We have a long recession in front of us. If we're lucky.
  19. I've been worried about this well. The regular I saw 2 days before the lockdown was really annoyed at the prospect of having the gym closed. Hopefully he has a home alternative, but it won't be as good as the gym, and I'm really into muscle. However, after a month of no hiring (and it looks like another month or so to go), I can wait a bit longer. My libido is decreasing with disuse, it appears.
  20. Mintboys had an essay here on live in arrangements during the plague. https://www.mintboys.com/social-distancing Has anyone tried this? It's not something I'd personally do, but was wondering if anyone had.
  21. Maybe before paying ahead of time, you should read the responses from this thread. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/have-you-ever-given-a-session-on-credit.156241/
  22. Hey, if clients can't keep their pants on, that's fine by me. When they die, demand goes down, and prices will go down once the plague is over. After AIDS, comments like that are disgusting.
  23. I never hired 3 before in that amount of time, but I know Illinois was about to lock down, and I expect it to last at least 2 months. I'll be involuntarily saving money.
