So many things that start out small and become huge, expensive, debilitating during treatment might have been caught ahead of the first sign of the worst.
For anyone over 45, it’s risky to ignore basic preventative care, even if out of pocket
Medicare covers annual wellness checks, but not annual physicals. Don’t know why.
Check w Drs office how they bill it and how the exams/tests differ. (For HIV treatment I get blood work 4x year billed as follow-up visits for which there is no copay)
We seniors also benefit from routine specialized visits for heart, skin, feet, gut, teeth, eyes…

The”Wellness exam” is a bit of a charade for sure. My PCP experience would be far more useful if he was able to give me patient specific advice on how many calories I should be eating and what kinds of diet plans I should be following. When I ask these questions I get more of a blank stare.

I just had an appointment with him yesterday in Chicago.  I agree with @Beancounter one of the best hires ever.  He can be a bit chatty but VERY sexy and totally focused on you the client and does everything he can to make your visit exceptional.  I also think he's very handsome and sexy.  Might have a slight crush now. . . 🙂

I took the plunge with Ranch Baron while in Nashville.   Absolutely one of the BEST hours I’ve ever spent with a provider.  Highly recommend if you get the chance.

@OccassionalHire there is something known as tone. Your tone was very loud, facts or not. Being the guy that asked the question that provoked your response, I have to say I found your "facts" entirely unhelpful. All I want to know is what he's like as an escort. Thank you.

@coriolis888 mentioned in a previous post that filling a prescription in a state where a doctor is not licensed to practice is not possible.  My experience is quite different.  I live in the Midwest but spend my winters in Florida.  I’ve never had a problem refilling my prescription written by my doctor in the Midwest while I’m in Florida.  Maybe certain drugs can’t be prescribed across state lines…I’m not sure about that.

It is probably more likely than not that an out of state prescription can be filled without too much hassle. New York even allows out of state Schedule II-IV prescriptions to be filled.

Ahhh the infamous Trump loving, Q-anon spewing bigot. Infamous for his YouTube and social media rants. That’s all a boner killer for me. And he DOES talk about that stuff with clients. I used to see him until all that spilled out of his mouth with me.

That's partly why I've been buying 3 month treasuries...1/3 of my cash each month so I have maturities every month that I can tap if needed.
But on the other hand, I have a huge bunch of cash just in online savings accounts getting anywhere from 5% to 5.5%..so no need to lock in anything.

Not sure if that protects your assets though if you go on disability or just medicaid.
My lawyer recomended against it and told me him and his husband (also a lawyer) both have revcoable living trusts and thats how he set mine up.
For a trust to protect your assets against medicaid, it has to be irrevocable and you have to have someone else as a trustee.   I don't want my parents in their 80s to deal with it and I'll probably outlive them and don't want my sister (who is on disability) doing it and if I have the bank as the trustee it will mean paying them 10% of my net worth for a fee each year
My parents have that kind of trust (they are past the five year look back) and I'm their trustee and if they go to sell their house I have to sign off on the deed, they moved some investments around and I had to sign and when they sold the gas company an easement last year I had to sign on that.   I don't want anyone having to deal with my investments.
And my lawyer made a great point when I did my estate work (and Suze Orman talked about it a few weeks ago) is that a private care nursing home is a lot better and since I have no kids to leave the money to, do I really want to spend my final years in a substandard medicaid nursing home .

That's one of the reasons I prefer to actually have direct communication with the provider.  I have no qualms about someone deciding to do sex work, but once there is someone else making a profit for arranging that work for another person I become concerned about the potential for exploitation.  If I knew the handler/agent was just following the provider's instructions for screening and scheduling, I'd have no concerns.  Since I cannot know that with certainty, it leaves me concerned that the guy could be working under conditions with which he is not entirely comfortable.
