I remember dating a guy years ago. After being “love-bombed” for months, he lost interest and pursued the dude he was most interested in and decided to start a confirmed relationship with him.

No. not hurt at all. I have no ill-will towards the former friend. Just have no reason to attempt to go back and recreate a paradigm that’s long gone. I see this no differently my than other chapters that closes in my life, which includes high school, college, and old jobs. Enjoyed my time there, learned what was needed and don’t need to go back. 
 
To elaborate further, there are friendships where I’ve lost contact with people, and we started back exactly where we left off (and the reunion was great). However, this scenario wasn’t one of them. I got bad vibes from him in a shady way, which is why we faded out. 
 
Having a mindset focused on moving forward doesn’t indicate any continued trauma or issues. IMO, those who continuously go back and forth in relationship cycles with people are the ones that need to be questioned on their “emotional wellbeing”.

You might not be as good looking as you think. Or, maybe you are right about looking too "straight" as in too manly. A lot of gays want someone who is pretty, even if masculine. Like the boy next door look.

I’m my experience, so much of what “happens” is a matter of the chemistry between masseur and client which can change from day to day and client to client.  I always ask what is included in the rate and don’t expect any thing else. I especially think that it’s important to respect the masseur’s dignity and boundaries.  For the client they are the only masseur they are seeing that day.  For the masseur they may have several of clients, which is hard work and they may not be able to give the same energy to all clients. All of the really good masseurs I have been too want to be respected for being a good masseur not something else.  I know this because i have talked to many (not all) about how they feel and what they hope to get out of the session. It’s instructive to hear their side of this discussion.  Thankful for masseurs on this site who do just that.
