If this is how you talk about clients, I’d never hire you. And don’t think anyone else should either. Hopefully anyone overweight will find you here and know not to hire you. 

Most don’t tip. I agree with @GentJ, repeat clients are the best. As for hygiene, I agree with @Gilfson looks is irrelevant but hygiene is essential. Some clients ask me to be as if I’ve come from the gym, that’s different: a fresh sweaty musk is one thing, stale body odour or (and this I have experienced) fragments of tissue between his cheeks ‘down there’ 😱is quite something else. I’m not rimming that.

Fair enough.  In a twist, I’ve had some who quoted less than I’m accustomed to paying.  In those cases, I paid the customary rate if they exceeded my expectation.  That’s a form of tip 
But, in general, I think tipping culture is getting whacky right now. 

My only thing is hygiene… if I have a client who has clearly not showered before hand and I’m gagging from the smell of his balls I won’t see them again. Looks and stuff don’t matter but hygiene definitely does to me.

That's my take as well. I'm far less drawn to a "pretty face" and "rock-hard abs" than having a sense that the provider is a) actually skilled and b) enjoys the services they offer. Once I have an understanding of that then, I start thinking about how hot they are. 🤣

I have a different take on this, which I think boils down to: do you hire for convenience or do you hire to have sex with men you believe would not be interested in without payment? I mostly fall into the former category. I'm not hanging out at bars or clubs much anymore. I don't drink or do drugs. My job is very demanding. And I have disposable income. So when I hire, I do so because I do not want to spend 2-3 hours on Grindr being approached by guys I'm not interested in or rejected by guys I am. So when a masseur I see regularly compliments my oral skills or notices I'm fitter than when he last saw me, I take the compliment. I also tend to hire guys closer to my age (late 30s to 40s) and more conventionally attractive (e.g., not ripped, not with 11 inches, etc). 
Now, if I were hiring a 25-year-old who is 6'2" with an eight-pack, who has an active OF where he fucks similar guys, I would probably feel like this guy is shining me on if he compliments me. 
But clients also have to maintain that they are hiring a professional. I have specific skills that sometimes provide pro bono to some friends and organizations. But I'm also regularly approached by people who want my services for free. That doesn't feel good to me. But I've also taken jobs where I might say, "This is so much fun or energizing that I'd do it for free." A provider saying they MIGHT have approached you off the clock is saying the same thing. They're enjoying their time with you, which is excellent, but that doesn't mean you've suddenly stopped being a client. Take the compliment and enjoy it, but understand it doesn't change the dynamic of your relationship. 

I rarely get asked for pictures, but I will share a face picture once we've set up a meeting. As someone said earlier, I probably know every angle of the guy's body. So, his having a G-rated pic of me is no big deal. I also like the way I look, so I'm not nervous about how it will be received.

Could not agree more. I saw a provider who is aware of CoM this weekend. He bemoaned how shitty some of the members here are when commenting about him and other providers.

I hope people realize that undercover officers can and do lie when asked this question.
There is no rule that they have to identify themselves.

The only times I pay "before" are at a vending machine, ticket booth, or travel agent.

I make an exchange after but I show them envelop at the start. I mostly meet with regulars, so it's no issue.
