LukePhx got a reaction from Trevor in LukePhx - Omaha Jan 24-27
Hey y'all I'll be in my lovely hometown this Sat thru Tues... Omaha, Nebraska!
I hear it's gonna be absolutely crazy cold. No need to remind me in a text like most of my regulars there 🤣 ❄️🌡🥶
I can host in Mid-Town or travel by Uber
Check out my thread in The Deli for some very nice comments about me recently

I presume he still sees trusted longtime clients and the occasional new referral from same. He'll be 54 later this year, for those wondering.

I agree with hiring a professional photo shoot, but don’t have your photographer heavily retouch the work, or attempt to enhance yourself in any way ie make things bigger/smaller, cover things, blur wrinkles, etc. Or worse, try to do any of these things yourself. So many people think they can be an armchair photo editor because they have photoshop or filters on an app to apply, or now more and more use AI.
I like when I can see a wrinkle or two, a blemish or some other imperfection, because it tells me this is a real person, a human being, and not an object, a doll.
Photos are your chance to showcase not just how you look, but your expression, your personality. I take the inviting smile approach because it’s natural to me. I make those expressions in real life with clients without thinking or trying. It’s just me. Let as much of yourself shine through as possible. A great photographer is not only good with technical aspects, but finding ways to make you feel comfortable and allow you to be yourself and project who you are as a person - effortlessly.
I disagree with including selfies. In my opinion, it makes you look unprofessional, like this is paid Grindr, something you barely put effort into or care about. And lots of providers are exactly like that in real life too. It’s less about looking flawless, jacked, or young, and more about showcasing yourself in a way that projects both confidence and competence.

I prefer non-professional photos for RM. I tend to question the accuracy of photos taken professionally.

LukePhx got a reaction from mikefl81 in RentMen Messenger - Keyword Search
So I'm currently in SF, and I'm really only seeing regulars. I KNOW I have messages on RM in the past from SF guys inquiring about my services.
It blows my mind that I can NOT search my inbox for keywords like "SF". I've reached out to RM Admin 3x about this; every time they claim to relay the suggestion to IT. Still hasn't been changed. I can/do search my texts, but not RM. I *can* search "SF" but the results are not conversations, but rather all users with SF in their username.
You'd think this would be a no brainer, and relatively easy to update/code.
I'm sure that clients would like this ability too. Especially those like me that have a very hard time remember names, but details like location, etc would make it very easy to find the message you're looking for.
Y'all agree?

If selfies don't work for you (and I think they don't work for a lot of people), go for it. A professional photographer or even a good amateur will put you at ease and get pics that let your physical presence but also some of your character show through. However, do NOT have those photographs retouched in any significant way. Even using AI, a retouched photo doesn't have the same impact.

Hey guys!
As clients, how do you feel about professional photos on our ads? Especially the main profile pic. I'm reaching out to a few Phoenix photographers for new pics for RM & my socials (and definitely open to suggestions for 📸!). I'm obviously not gonna take down my phone pics/videos but would like some new pro photos! I'm a novice photographer with about $10k in camera gear but am terrible at photographing myself, even with a remote shutter 🤣

Nothing wrong with them, but not a value add for me. Just a few natural pics, smiling, shirtless, natural and a humble attitude in the text is all I need to see.

LukePhx reacted to + Just Chuck in Why Do Prospective Clients Do This?
I think a lot of incidents of that are simply reading comprehension and website design.
A lot of clients are probably so focused on the photos that they simply don’t pay much attention to the rates section before they reach out. Having a background in safety and human error, I’ll say: people (even smart and well-read people) just don’t take in very much of what they read even when it’s clearly presented.
The mobile version of the site makes you actively click on “show rates” to even see if the masseur lists them or shows “ask” for every category.
When there’s a range of prices, I really like it when a masseur either states those or states that there are “add-ons” or “options” available.

LukePhx reacted to Mark_fl in Why Do Prospective Clients Do This?
Could be a few things:
1) They could be an idiot
2) they are trying to find out if there are some things not included in that published rate that might be on the table
3) Most providers sadly put "ask" which shouldn't even be an option, so they don't bother clicking on rates any more. If everyone put a rate there, this probably wouldn't happen.

It is wise not to overestimate the comprehension abilities of some potential clients. But most have the ability to read an advertisement and understand the details presented therein. Most.

LukePhx reacted to maninsoma in Rent Men
I generally think relying on Rentmen reviews makes no sense unless you can look at the individual reviewers and determine that they are legit. Two reviews is definitely too little to mean much of anything. That being said, I think the risk of a Rentmen ad being law enforcement entrapment is lower than the risk of it just being a con man trying to extract money from people without performing any service.

This guy isn’t charging $600/hr. One of the other providers listed in Omaha is. I’ve got a meeting setup with MidwestTwunk next week-definitely not $600/hr.

IMDb, if it can be trusted, says his birthday is 11/7/1971 which would make him just 54.

Been following Luke for years and finally saved up and had the courage to message him on rent men and everything was perfect. His pictures are a story that leads to him as sexy as ever now.
The 2 hours were had was so sexy and magical; it was worth every thing that transpired.
