Impressive new show at the Met bringing together two friends and sometimes rivals. Especially nice having just come from Paris and the d’Orsay where a number of works were missing. Nice to catch up with them on home turf.

I've been to NOLA so many times. My best friend has a vacation home in the Garden District, but whenever I visit we book rooms at the Royal Sonesta or Monteleone. NOLA is a great foodie town. So many choices. Recently, I tried Coquette in the Irish Channel Neighborhood/Garden District and it was fantastic. You'll be spoilt for choices when it comes to food. I was a little scared wandering off the side streets at night going to Corner Pocket. So, just stay in the well lit areas.  New Orleans also has a very vibrant music/jazz scene too (Preservation Hall, etc) - just a really fun time if you make it to one of the festivals.

Does everyone else feel as jealous as I do seeing the pic Chris posted this morning? (jealous of the great trip he's being taken on of course).

I am familiar with the piece which is why I bought a ticket. I haven’t seen this production and was wondering if anyone else has? I guess not. I’ll report back.

@Lucky FYI I use my iPad almost 80% of my day and for work ...including virtually 100% of my moderator duties here. I'm surprised you're having iPad troubles with internet.
What model iPad? Which browser do you use? Do you have cellular data on your iPad or wifi only?

Buffdaddy has done these types of events years ago on Long Island and more recently in Manhattan  Central Park North area. How funny cause last Sunday in Manhattan some of the guys were asking me about the small Manhattan event. I'm doing one this coming Sunday in Philadelphia.

If it’s just surfing, I think a new iPad mini would work if the problem you have is an older iPad.
Or, perhaps you have too many screens opened on your iPad or too many photos? Perhaps go to the Genius Bar and see if they can diagnose it.

What is the purpose of the traveling laptop? Is it just for sending emails /searches or do you need it for work? For me, I prefer investing in a lightweight travel laptop. I have the Dell Latitude, which suits me just fine and is relatively lighter weight (had a Sony Vaio before that and I loved it). I hardly use my ipad if i bring my laptop. Otherwise, I’d suggest an ipad or Samsung galaxy tablet if it works for you.

I have tremendous stamina for art museums if I say so myself. Last year I did two back to back days of 6 hours each at the Prado. A few years before that I did all of Museum Island in Berlin in 3 days from opening to closing hours. I just switch into something like a drug induced state and detach from my sore feet. Slow museum walking is harder than jogging especially on marble floors. I wish this stamina carried over into other areas.
I do like the Art Nouveau at the D’Orsay.

    Now you’re just taunting me….grin.
Even for an art nerd like me, 7 hours at the Musee d’Orsay is impressive.
It’s not THAT huge. Glad you’re enjoying it so much!

Hello, this is Luke or Tallblondejock.

I am sorry some of you don’t think my rate is fair… I lowered it to $400 . I make 165k with my real job and really not desperate for escort money. I hope that you understand why my rate is a bit higher than market. I feel that my 6’7” height and the fact I’m not a full time escort is sets me apart. On average I meet 2 clients a months, and they are plenty of people willing to pay my rate.

I don’t try to be flakey but I live a very busy life. Please text me if you are serious about booking and respect me and I will do the same.

Shef looks like something my mom would enjoy doing. She was delivering groceries on app services, but there’s not enough work or any decent paying orders available to keep her busy. I’ll have to share this with her, and try it myself sometime.

Monet’s water lilies are beyond beautiful. Having recently been to Giverny, his garden that inspired them, made the experience even more wonderful.  IMG_4914.mov
