  1. Further to a comment I made earlier about rejection, on a few occasions I’ve sent an unsolicited photo to a new provider once we have set up the appointment and details, and I know enough about him to have some level of trust in him. I do this because I want to give him an out if he doesn’t like what he sees when I get there. As a matter of fact, I just did it this morning….Yes, I know it’s insecurity on my part…
  2. As a client, I wouldn’t use drugs and wouldn’t want to meet my provider and find he was high either. I want us both to be present for the experience. If he showed up at my house stoned I’d send him away. What @Gilfsonexperienced was rude on so many levels.
  3. You could try posting “Mind if I DM you?” as a response to someone you want to go offline with. Sometimes they’ll DM you back with the go-ahead. If they ignore you, at least you won’t have wasted a lot of time on a long DM that goes nowhere.
  4. That’s a reasonable approach. If they flaked once, it’s a risk to schedule them a second time without some kind of remuneration if they do it again.
  5. I think there’s some validity to that. Though my education years preceded the advent of electronic devices, I always studied by making detailed notes of what I was trying to learn. When tests and finals came around, I was able to draw on the memory of what I had written on the page and even where on the page it was written, to get the information I needed.
  6. It’s hard to continue this discussion without getting into politics so I won’t.
  7. I’m not really concerned about your first two rationales for withholding the photo since there are so many photos out in the ether that could be copied and used for nefarious purposes, it would be easy to say “I don’t know this guy who is blackmailing me. He must’ve gotten my picture from Facebook.”. If it was a nude pic of you, that would, of course be different. Your third item—rejection—might be the thing many of us would be most concerned about. Too old/young, too fat/skinny, too hairy/hairless, too many tattoos, etc, might lead to rejection. It’s all superficial but still a concern.
  8. I’ve had experiences like that. Once the insults start, their only value is entertainment.
  9. Love the natural pubic hair. Those were the days.
  10. I have been impressed by how articulate many of the posts on CoM have been. It’s very refreshing given what one often sees on social media.
  11. When I first saw this post I thought “Nah, doesn’t apply.”. Then I thought about it and saw that a guy I’d been with had made a JFF video with someone who advertises here on CoM and now I want to fuck him too. Fuck by association, I guess.
  12. Self-reflection is always good. Uncomfortable perhaps, but beneficial in the long run. I admire you for making the effort and being open about it.
  13. Oprah’s judgment came into question for me when she gave us Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil.
  14. It does indeed make sense. I’m talking about federal workers. At present they are being fired by the thousands. No more job, no more disposable income for escorts. As for hiring an escort, no, you don’t get fired for the act of contacting or hiring. You could get fired if you’re in a sensitive federal position and your employer finds out you paid to fuck him. It’s illegal and if you are in a security-vetted position, it could get you fired.
  15. I’ve always been leery about glory holes. What if the guy on the other side has a knife…
  16. I remember that show. I always watched for the same reason you liked it. There was one guy—might’ve been in the opening credits—who they shot from above while he was in the shower.
  17. For me, positive credit scores always lag behind, it seems. I still get emails from experian, telling me I’d benefit from loan consolidation when, in fact, I have no debt other than a mortgage. When I accidentally missed a payment, though, the hit to my credit score rating was swift and devastating.
  18. She also has a lot of artificial body enhancements.
  19. You indicated to @dbar123 that you’re not in Boston anymore and I see from your RMass ad that you’re listed as DC though you still mention your Boston studio. If the flakes are in DC, there could be a couple of reasons. Lots of people are getting suddenly fired there nowadays and funds may no longer be available, and people in certain positions—DoD, FBI, State, etc—could lose their jobs if their hiring became known. I’ve seen it happen many times. Might explain their paranoia over discretion. I don’t know if those were reasons for them flaking; just possibilities. (Side note: I’m in the DC area. If that’s where you have relocated, welcome! May I DM you?)
  20. Bliss Bodywork. Book his “signature” massage. You won’t be disappointed.
  21. He took advantage of a loyal client. I wouldn’t book him again.
  22. Gives a whole new visual for the term “dickhead”
  23. Generous tips are key. Providers who are compensated nicely are more inclined to offer additional services on repeat visits. Interesting that you mention menus; no one has ever offered one at any point in a session….
