Interesting point on bariatric surgeon and negative articles. It will be interesting to see where that field goes now that non-invasive alternatives are available. As for the negative articles, I wonder how many are coming from insurance industry shills as well.

Because I eat out 1-2 times a day, I’m losing about a pound a week. That’s fine with me. The weight loss may slow down further.

Gosh, I didn't think anyone would notice! Yes, I went to Asia on 12/24/23 and stayed three weeks. On return, the jet lag has been pretty nasty.
And to think I was in the same hotel with @SouthOfTheBorder! Wasn't it great? I call it the Gay Meridien as New Year's weekend the place seemed almost entirely gay.

Yes, definitely keep a lookout for anything new or different, whether it's a mole or not.  Red or pink, pearlescent spots with raised edges can also be skin cancer, although a less aggressive form than melanoma. Consider seeing a derm for an annual full body skin check. I had mine today. 

I wonder what gay culture around sex would look like if men could get pregnant from bottoming. We replaced our old gas gravity heater with a heat pump a few years ago. Agreed, so easy to use and effective, and now we have A/C as well. Same as a lot of people here, 62 at night, 67 first thing in morning, and 65 the rest of the day. 72 during the day in the summer. 

Though @FreshFluff you’re getting me pondering that overnight temperature! I’ve lowered the thermostat to 60 tonight to see how it is. 

67 during the day, and 62 at night.  We have a Pellet stove in our kitchen/dining area which we will sometimes turn on for ambiance and to take the chill off.  I prefer sleeping in a cold room with blankets.   Live in MA here.

Like most fluffy coated creatures, I sleep better in the cold (55 degrees ideally). As a result, my heat is never turned on. I use a space heater instead.
 
It was 50 degrees indoors last night.

The idea came from a poster here. His handle escapes me but he’s a doctor with a clown avatar. He said that the best he ever slept was outside on a porch in winter. So I try to simulate that, covered by a fleece blanket and two comforters.
