I found myself with a surprise couple hours free this evening and it would have been the perfect time to hire, but it’s so hot outside that I am very uncomfortable and not “in the mood” (despite drooling over some sexy guys out and about). Has anyone else noticed a correlation between the weather (other than obvious situations like a blizzard impacting transportation) and hiring habits?

A couple guys have asked towards the beginning of the session how I plan on paying- in that moment, I say “cash” and either hand it to them or put it on a table where they can see. That is (in my opinion) a great way to broach the subject before getting down to business, but nobody has directly asked for payment up front.

There are more “great singers” out there than you think. Sadly, the vast majority are not famous because talent/skill is not highly valued in mainstream music. Stefani/GaGa is indeed a fantastic singer with excellent vocal technique. Boone’s strengths (from what I’ve heard/seen of him) lie in his ability to navigate vocal registers and perform with energy/conviction (and yes, he’s hot) though I wouldn’t call him a “great singer” quite yet.

I think it’s important to note that abs are by far the most variable body part between pics and in-person. Ab definition can vary depending on pump, water retention, position/flex/angle, food choice that day, even lighting, etc. If a defined 6-pack is a priority for you, it might be in your best interest to let the provider know in advance… the providers I’ve met who had the best abs in pics were not as defined in person (whereas the rest of their bodies were exactly identical), while the providers I’ve met with the best abs in person looked better than their pics.

I went once to the NYC pride parade several years ago (not for the purpose of enjoying/spectating, but working a promotion-type job) and was completely lost in the crowds and got heat poisoning. Absolutely not for me. HOWEVER, it is a great weekend to hang out in gay-adjacent spaces- lots of hot guys seeing Broadway shows, in restaurants, etc.

ETA for those who continue to react to this (since I can’t edit the post for some reason): the reason for being turned down in person had nothing to do with my appearance but was indeed the reason he gave (that he had to work) which I did not believe at time. That said, it was still incredibly humiliating in the moment.

I think you know that the answer is “no” and don’t have to guess lol. My point is that they’re not above the premise of being a replacement.

Holliday and Williams have both been replacements in Broadway shows! Agreed on all counts- this role should absolutely perform 6 shows per week with Wade and/or Glover performing the other 2. Unfortunately I don’t think Headley is known enough to sell tickets to people who aren’t already theatre lovers, but then again I would have said the same for Audra.

Gotcha, what I don’t get is why the producers don’t try getting a replacement who will sell tickets (someone at the level of Jennifer Holliday or Vanessa Williams).

Yes, Alicia Keys’ musical “Hell’s Kitchen” is still running! I only clarify this because you say you’re not a theatre person, but she wrote it; she is not in it. “Gazillion Bubble Show” is supposed to be very entertaining, but I can see why it wouldn’t do well in Vegas as it is catered to children/families.

Very sad- surprising that they’re not at least giving it a few weeks for the 4th of July tourists. Oh man, I LOVED Boop… I was hoping it would at least play out the summer, but I guess not. A Gypsy closure doesn’t seem as likely to me, nor does Audra leaving before her contract is up.

If I remember correctly, you hated this production of Sunset and left early, right? From my experience, the whole of Nicole’s performance was significantly more impactful than the sum of its parts- it just had the “it” quality that made sense of the buzz surrounding it. I do agree that Audra’s performance is MUCH more nuanced and she has more challenging material in both quantity and content.

Yep, I am currently friends on Facebook with the two hookups I had the best chemistry with… they both came up under suggested friends. I don’t think this is a coincidence, and it’s also why I use my real first name (so I don’t come across as a liar).

For me this was not remotely surprising- there was so much buzz surrounding Nicole’s performance since before Sunset even opened that she had the award in the bag. The red hat incident was not serious enough to sway that many voters (and I frankly don’t believe she’s MAGA, but that’s not a conversation for this board). Having personally seen her, Audra, and Jasmine, any of them would have been completely deserving of the award… they were all phenomenal in very different roles/productions.

I reached out to ThickMuscle per the recommendation of another poster, and he sent this response (I blanked a potentially identifying detail for his privacy) : You did nothing wrong. I was in a rush with work and only had a break. I had an ____ after your appointment so I was in my head and anxious I believe him and thus will try to hire him in the future!

And see, for me “Ask Me” in those categories does not remotely indicate “straight” or “top only”, nor does the “open-minded” or anything else on his profile. And on that note, I would expect even a “straight”/top escort for gay men to perform oral… it’s not the same as an expectation to bottom. All that said, the context (which I did or at least intended to give) was that he was a last-second hire and we had not communicated about which activities we would do, and in fact he said we had discussed him topping me when in reality our only prior communication was inquiring his location/availability and rate. So there was really nothing for him to review/remember. ETA: If I were in his position, I would outline these limits when sending the rate (and perhaps even explicitly state that __ costs extra)… what if I did want him to top me, so went through with the session, and then got asked for additional money mid-f*ck for what I thought to be a very basic expectation? That would have been much much worse.

Absolutely no surprises this year… all of the juggernauts won exactly which awards they were expected to. I only caught the second half of the broadcast, but I didn’t find that any of the performances made me want to see the respective shows- for me, the highlight was the Bareilles/Erivo duet during the In Memoriam section. I wish “Boop” and “Smash” had been given the chance to perform… I think “Boop” in particular would have really benefited from a minute or so of Jasmine Amy Rogers singing- the “Real Women Have Curves” performance could have been combined with other non-nominated shows. And @ApexNomad I agree, the acceptance speeches seemed to be shorter than usual this year.

I was baffled lol… he seemed excited to top me and when I said I wasn’t interested in that but wanted mutual oral, his entire demeanor changed and he said I could suck him, but for him to suck would be $150 extra (he didn’t use that language; he gave a rate that was $150 more than what he had quoted). He seems like he would be a great top who really gets into it! That just was not remotely what I was looking for. I honestly can’t fathom a male escort who caters to men not including providing oral as a standard part of service.

Exactly, there’s a reason that (at least in my experience/knowledge of others’ experiences) Chinese is never offered as an option for foreign language coursework in public high schools… I vaguely remember my options being Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese (the latter of which was surprising at the time).
