It did not seem like relevant information at the time I posted it, nor was it mentioned at all when I first heard it on the news. My reaction was due to the fact that literally anyone at all is being arrested for something like this in NYC.

As someone who is genuinely short, and at that shorter than the vast majority of guys who complain about being short, I would never consider having this done- while I do often wish I were tall or at least average height, I have come to accept my height and have made it a part of my identity.

That’s quite the trek if you’re not used to venturing out of Manhattan! Somehow my gut told me the “client” lived in South Brooklyn (I do as well)… I won’t go into politics etc, but we were a “red zone” at the height of Covid, so this does not surprise me at all. At least you got to see a part of NYC you’ll probably otherwise have no reason to go to, and you’ll now be able to empathize with people like me who make that kind of commute every day!
