  1. Located near Chinatown (not midtown/Chelsea as the search function indicates) and not permanently in NYC.
  2. This is why I will never ever bareback!
  3. The neighborhoods mentioned in that article (Williamsburg, Clinton Hill, and Downtown Brooklyn) are all closer to Manhattan than South Brooklyn (I and many others refer to these trendy, conveniently commutable areas as “Manhattklyn”).
  4. I would look like Marlon Brando, be in midtown Manhattan during the Golden Age of Broadway (1949ish), and play with the hot chorus boy/dancer types, namely Harold Lang (who was known for having an irresistible ass). 5. That’s quite the trek if you’re not used to venturing out of Manhattan! Somehow my gut told me the “client” lived in South Brooklyn (I do as well)… I won’t go into politics etc, but we were a “red zone” at the height of Covid, so this does not surprise me at all. At least you got to see a part of NYC you’ll probably otherwise have no reason to go to, and you’ll now be able to empathize with people like me who make that kind of commute every day!
  6. Agreed, I don’t think the name change is a sign of guilt; just trying to distance himself from a bad reputation that may or may not be deserved.
  7. Because someone’s experience of someone may not be in-person… if I say “I’ve never met him but his pics are amazingly hot and I want to lick every crevice of his abs”, that is still my experience of him and a valid opinion, especially when the OP explicitly asks “Other reactions to the ad?” I’ll never understand why there’s so much pushback on here when someone comments based on the content of an ad.
  8. Yep, my [boomer] mother gets texts/emails almost every day that she asks me to look at! The vast majority are spam, but some are not!
  9. Exactly, whenever I inquire as to a provider’s incall location and rate, his answer determines if and when I can see him- I am not wasting his time by asking these very basic questions. For example, Rate over the NYC median range? Won’t see him Doesn’t do incalls? Won’t see him Location very close to work? Will see him as soon as I’m available and have the money to do so Location somewhat close to work? Will see him eventually Location not close to work? Will see him at some point if I can venture out to his neighborhood
  10. Exactly, I don’t think I’m into rimming until I see an ass I need to rim 😍
  11. Try looking in new places- think arts professions and organizations, gay sports leagues, etc. There are lots of hot, single gay men in the arts (whether professionally or just as a hobby/interest) who do not have drug problems.
  12. OP described himself as “skinny fat”, as well! It means different things to different people, but the generally accepted definition is that you are “skinny fat” if you are technically either a healthy weight or only a couple pounds overweight by BMI standards and look relatively thin in clothes, but your body appears soft/flabby and has a higher body fat percentage than someone who appears to be more fit. In more medical terms, if I go to the doctor, I would not be told based on the number on the scale that I need to lose weight, but bloodwork etc could come back with similar levels to someone who is obese. 13. I met Karl Kelso a couple weeks ago… no face pics but he is incredibly handsome, like a catalogue model. Karl_Kelso - Male Escort, Gay massage - New York City | Rent.Men RENT.MEN Karl_Kelso Gay Escort in New York City, New York, available for Gay Escorting,Erotic Massage,Boyfriend...
  14. Congrats on the weight loss! After losing a significant amount of weight while I was in college (I had astronomically high triglycerides), I’ve been “skinny fat” for the vast majority of my adult life and also generally get very little attention from men (though I have always assumed it’s because I’m very short). I have found that my body won’t get below a “set point” weight no matter what I do, so I have basically accepted my fate as being “skinny fat” for my whole life until I get too old to be physically active, and then I’ll just be fat and will get diabetes and heart disease shortly thereafter (as I’m genetically predisposed to both). Anyway, getting back to the topic, I have noticed a small spike in attention whenever my weight fluctuates to either end of my range.
  15. Heard this song for the first time this past summer and was 100% sure it would be the new “song of the summer”… little did I know, it had already been out well over a year, and it just never got the play it deserved!
  16. EXACTLY! This concept applies to every phone call ever, which is why I will never understand why some people automatically default to calling (or expect me to pick up if they call me while I’m at work etc).
  17. I had my very first hire a couple days after Valentine’s Day last year- my reasoning had nothing to do with the date directly, but I think I am generally hornier this time of year!
  18. I hate phone calls in general. They are incredibly disruptive unless planned/scheduled in advance. In fact, one of the reasons that I don’t even text providers (I instead communicate via RM messenger) is that I don’t want them calling me!
  19. Same, now all I can think of is Jonathan Bailey and Nicholas Galitzine 🤤
  20. That’s how I think I’m perceived, as well!
  21. One of my favorite places to lick!
  22. I’m in my mid-30s and have zero romantic experience. Sure, I’ve had hookups and even been on a couple of dates, but my life situation doesn’t lend itself to dating/having a boyfriend (even if I were straight). It’s a little different for me since I have zero attraction to women, but I’ve also felt that “biological clock” since my early 20s when it hit me that I had never been in a relationship.
  23. 7:30 on a weeknight in a small city makes sense! And I love the Sunday 6:30 showtime!
  24. Yes, that would make sense! Commuting between boroughs has a very different set of challenges than commuting from outside of NYC. Even pre-pandemic when I commuted via subway, I preferred later curtain times so I had more time before the show, and more time to get there since I’m less concerned about getting home late (which I inherently already am by virtue of attending an evening performance) than being late to a show..
  25. I don’t misunderstand; I am a commuter myself and am writing specifically about us commuters! My commute between South Brooklyn and Chelsea/lower midtown often takes longer than my friends’ commutes who live in Jersey etc. By the time I get out of work (usually between 5:45 and 6), it’s too late to comfortably eat dinner and make a 7pm curtain. For my personal commute, the end time doesn’t really make a difference since the Express Busses (a misnomer lol) I take don’t actually run on the schedule they’re supposed to, so I just have to wait for one to come whether it’s at 9:30pm or 11pm. But I do understand that NJT and LIRR do generally run on schedule and commuters prefer to take a specific train.
