  1. Here is I think a more realistic breakdown: Price breakdown: 1-hour massage: $200 ($300 for 2 hours) 1-hour escort: $350 ($500 for 2 hours) Overnight: $1000 Provider sees an average of 8 clients each week: 3 1-hour massage ($600), 3 1-hour escort ($1050), 1 2-hour massage ($300), 1 2-hour escort ($500)= $2450/week for 50 weeks = $122,500 Provider has one additional overnight per month, bringing total income to $134,500 per year. Less rent, advertising, gym membership, grooming etc (which would all be significantly more than the typical person would have to spend on these things) = not a huge profit. ETA: I calculated these rates as what I would charge if I were a hot/established provider based on the $350 median price for a 1-hour incall.
  2. Nothing bad- had two encounters… one very good, one great. Had one cancellation that ended up being a relief (he canceled and then I ended up getting stuck at work, anyway) and one potential encounter the other day where the timing just didn’t work out (I do hope to meet both of these men soon).
  3. I’ve always found the Times Square NYE Ball Drop to be underwhelming… this will be the first year (in memory) that I will not be in front of a TV at midnight to watch, and I can’t say I’ll miss anything!
  4. Exactly, the entire point of a tip is to offset the low pay that the worker would otherwise receive (such as a server in a restaurant), or to thank them for doing something that is outside of their standard job description (such as lifting particularly heavy luggage). That is the difference between tipping a masseur in a parlor who provides extras, and an escort who sets his own rate.
  5. My impression was that there had been several understudies on the last few days before the cancellations, but they all got sick as well and there simply weren’t enough healthy people to cover every track. I think the issue was there not being enough swings and understudies, not that those hired weren’t ready. What a lot of shows do is hire a bunch of swings shortly after opening so that the number of people in the cast isn’t “frozen” per union rules… the timing just worked particularly poorly in this case.
  6. FWIW, if these tidbits of information are helpful (we must have similar taste since I have contacted 2/4 lol): Alexander is not located in Manhattan (he hosts in Queens). Orion did not answer my question via RM messenger (he insisted on texting).
  7. I saw the last production with Crystal Bernard… I remember liking the show but her performance being forgettable (then again, I was a child). As for potential stars, I think Kelly Clarkson would be phenomenal in the role! I also think it would be cool if Reba did it again (a la the infamous “Granny, Get Your Gun”).
  8. I could understand fudging the numbers a little bit, especially to match certain filters, but being completely deceitful can’t possibly yield positive results… back when I was on the hookup apps, I made a point of making my stats as accurate as possible to the extent of even changing my age on my birthday. And I was still turned away a couple of times for not being what the hookup expected, so I could only imagine how much higher the stakes would be if there was money involved.
  9. Beautiful guy, just buddylisted him! Great find… was wondering why I hadn’t seen him before and then scrolled to his older pics with the beard (in which he’s handsome but not nearly as striking).
  10. VIC_XXT - Male Escort, Gay massage - New York City | Rent.Men RENT.MEN VIC_XXT Gay Escort in New York City, New York, available for Gay Escorting,Modeling,Erotic Massage. |...
  11. Neither do I, but that doesn’t mean people can’t tell anyway (funny, it’s much easier to hide being gay than being Jewish).
  12. I see where you’re coming from. Perhaps the fact that (as a Jew) the war impacts me in a way that it does not impact the vast majority of Americans makes me ultra sensitive to the topic.
  13. Bump… has anyone met this incredibly handsome man?
  14. Yep, cruising is my favorite form of travel!
  15. Not surprised; one of my favorite hookups ever was with an oral bottom from South Africa 😍
  16. I just wanted to come on here and express my gratitude for this site and all of you posters! I never thought I’d find community on a message board primarily devoted to male SWs, but here we are. Thank you all for discussing topics most of us don’t have the opportunity to talk about in person or on social media… I truly appreciate the (mostly) respectful banter!
  17. Understood! I guess my point (which has been lost at this point) is that I don’t personally understand why someone would choose as a vacation destination, as a different example Haiti (which has had lots of violence lately) over any other tropical island? ETA: I’m not saying “don’t go” or “avoid at all costs” if you want to go or it’s on your bucket list; I’m saying “why now? Isn’t there somewhere else you want to go that you can go now and then go to the Middle East when things are more relaxed?” I would love to eventually see the pyramids, but I know I’d be a nervous wreck and wouldn’t be able to enjoy myself if I were to go now, but that’s just me.
  18. There is war/unrest going on that impacts the entire huge region. It is obviously not going on everywhere or even in most of the region in any given time, but you really think that it wouldn’t be safer to go to say, Japan, than Egypt or Dubai?
  19. That’s why I put “bad people” in quotations. His actions were bad whether he understood or not.
  20. I never implied that gay people couldn’t figure out how to blend in; that was someone else in the thread. I have spent my entire life blending in lol. I was just saying that with the danger of getting caught and generally being in a war zone, why would a gay person choose to travel to the Middle East when there are so many other options?
  21. I see where you’re coming from, but I wouldn’t consider a basic knowledge of the news and political/religious climate to be “hearsay”. I’m genuinely happy for you and for others on this thread who have had positive experiences traveling to the Middle East, but that doesn’t mean that those of us who would feel unsafe there have invalid reasons.
  22. I don’t think @KensingtonHomo was trolling… multiple things can be true: -Penny is a hero for serving in the military. -Penny did the right thing in standing up for his fellow passengers by restraining Neely. Most people who have ridden the subway in NYC have seen individuals like Neely and have felt threatened by them. -Penny went too far in this restraint, which contributed to Neely’s death and makes him partially accountable. At the end of the day, had Penny not restrained Neely with the amount of force and for the length of time he did (also caused by the wait time for the cops to come), he would not have died that day (and there’s no way to determine how long he would have survived). -Both Neely and Thompson were “bad people.” That doesn’t justify either of their deaths. Neely should have been permanently in jail or a place he could have been treated for his mental illnesses. I hold the system that allowed him on the streets in the first place just as accountable for his death as Penny. The ideal justice for Thompson would have been if he had gotten a debilitating illness and been denied treatment, but legally there was nothing that could have been done to prosecute him for his crimes against humanity.
  23. Why is this gif an hour long? 😍🤤
  24. From data I recently took (for a 1-hour incall): Median: 350 Mode: 400 Mean: 372
  25. Absolutely! I just meant that I didn’t go on Birth Right because it didn’t feel like a safe place to be at the time in general.
