I only used data for guys I had buddylisted, so if someone on here said that a guy’s rate was something exhorbitant, I likely wouldn’t have had him buddylisted in the first place. The one exception was an escort for whom different posters were quoted different rates- I reached out (not for the sake of this exercise, but because I was interested) and was quoted the highest of those rates (which at $1000 was also BY FAR the highest of my data points)!

Just redid data based on 34 escorts on my buddylist who either currently live in, used to live in, or at some point were traveling to NYC. Some rates are from my own interaction and others are from posts on here, and all are for a 1-hour session. The results are almost exactly the same as they were the last time I did it (with a smaller sample size): Median: 350 Mode: 400 Mean: 372

I actually took data based on around 15 escorts a few months ago! I unfortunately accidentally deleted my list, but if I remember correctly, the mode was 400, the median was 350, and the mean was something like 370.

Now, that was really funny! I think we can acknowledge at this point that we are all coming from different points of view, but all of them are valid and grounded in our own intersections of common sense and scientific knowledge. And @LookingAround, I hope this makes you realize that perhaps your experiences, circle of friends/acquaintances, and perception of the “real world” are not as broad as you thought, even just within the context of men who like men and live in NYC. @pubic_assistance and I are far from alone in our condom evangelism 😉

Grande’s breathiness is basically my ONLY criticism of the movie. To my ears, it came across as an aesthetic choice to sound more “pop” since I think she’s generally a phenomenal vocalist and capable of producing a more organically legit sound.

Yes, $400 for an hour is (mathematically speaking) the “mode” NYC rate. Median/average is a bit lower.

FWIW I have several family members and friends who are retired from regular jobs yet still try to call me while I’m at work. It’s like they magically forgot that people generally can’t have full phone conversations while they’re at work… or maybe their work environments allowed for that.

To me, age is just a number and one of the least important factors. While there is an age that men (to my eyes) are no longer hot, it is different for every guy… I call it the “grandpa effect” when men hit a wall and suddenly start looking elderly. Not all adults live alone or with roommates. I personally live with my parents (to take care of them), and I know there are a lot of other adults in a similar situation. And other adults have spouses and/or children. And some adults live with their (adult) siblings or as roommates, so a “date” coming over wouldn’t be appropriate. I’m always baffled when people are baffled by this lol. I actually did this a long time ago for a couple hookups… both hookups were great, but the hotels were really seedy.
