Okay, if you're emailing people and avoiding texting, there's a good chance they're not seeing your messages or by the time they do they're already booked. Most providers prefer texting, so if you're sticking to email, you're going to get left behind. 

Just curious, but how do you know if you’ve been put on a “no re-hire” list? Did the provider tell you not to contact him again, or give some other indication that he won’t see you again?

Why wasting his time?
I simply don't reply and if I'm interested a year later and he's back in town I will reply to his message and schedule a new appointment. 
I think you're overthinking this issue. 
Just don't reply or say you don't have the money to rehire now but maybe on a next trip. 

My most recent visits to Stock and Campus were in 2017, and Monster in New York City was in 2022.  They were very similar with the following noticeable differences:
1. Full nudity is allowed on stage in Montreal.  About half of the dancers get naked on stage, although maybe not until the end of their set.
2.  There wasn't an employee hosting the private lap dance area to explain the rules.  So ask the dancer in advance if you have questions.
3. Unlike Monster, there's no digital clock in private booth to keep track of time.  Until you're used to determining when one song ends and another begins, tell the dancer up front "let me know when we've reached 2 songs...or 3, 4, etc."
4.  Compared to my experiences in NYC, dancers at Campus and Stock tended to offer a little more in Montreal, especially after the 4th or 5th song.  I successfully brought several dancers (one at a time) back to my hotel room after asking around song #5.
5.  Because Montreal's clubs are open for longer hours than the stripper events in New York, there may be a shift change.  Several posters have commented on a change in dancers around 8 or 9 pm.  Keep that in mind if you visit early in the evening and don't see your type, you should try again later in the evening.
6.  About a third of the dancers spoke only French or otherwise very little English.  That's good enough for a dance, but makes it harder to discuss issues of the day.

For the last number of years I have been swimming 2 to 4 times a week at my private gym’s indoor pool. The membership skews to middle aged to elderly. This evening however when I entered the pool there were 4 twinks playing in the pool at the far end and just lil ole me. They were just horsing around and I did my usual laps. 
They then used the hot tub adjacent to the pool and I joined them. They appeared to be straight to me. Anyway I went to the locker room first to shower and change. They soon followed and the first two went into the shower and drew the curtain, which can accommodate 2 in a squeeze. Then the next two came into the room and after the first two had emerged they went in. 
All four were good looking, in their early 20’s and nicely built. One was black and the other 3 white. I was still getting dressed and was only a couple of feet from where this was all going down. The locker room is small and 8 would make it crowded. 
As he emerged from the shower stall one lad said “I still have soap in my ass.” They all laughed. I simply drooled. lol . As I was leaving the room one lad said I had forgotten my swimming suit in the shower. Nice of him to notice. I had completely forgotten about it.

I really needed that final scene after all the ugliness of Cohn & Co.  I won't spoil it either, but the ending was beautiful in its sadness.
Thanks to @MikeThomas for starting this thread.  Since I watch so little English-language TV & movies, I probably would have missed Fellow Travelers otherwise.  As tough to take as the series was at times, I really enjoyed it.

It takes practice, to figure out the right words, timing, and tone to take when contacting people.  Keep working at it and you'll get there.
Several times, I had new providers tell me that the moment they read my initial text, they knew I was both serious and a good client.
To write those texts: Always politely ask if they're taking customers, make sure you read their ad in full, give them a name to call you by, use full sentences (with correct grammar and spelling), and call them by their assumed name.

What you are describing is "a regular." I agree with everything others have said on this. I'll add that another advantage of having a regular thing is it allows a continuation of exploration. Like, "next time I'd like to try ______" or "next time could you bring ______?"

Just this week for my day job I had a Zoom with a vendor whose contract was up for renewal, and when we got on screen we were both truly pleased to see each other after nearly a year of only being in touch occasionally by email. Then there are the baristas, barbers, trainers, etc etc... people who we know well enough to be greeted by name, and while not friends in the conventional sense there is still a friendly relationship.
Of course it's in the interest of business to have regular clients, escorts included, so I'll say I'm biased! But I see the advantage to both parties. Most of my clients are regulars, and it's nice to just get a text that says "come on over" and we pick up where we left off last time.
