I don't think you're supposed to feel raped by him, but by his pricing...

Eh, a lot of people counted as obese are muscular. The numbers are certainly higher than in the past but not as much as BMI(a biased measure, especially for taller people) would suggest. When I was running seven 8 minute miles a day I was "obese" by BMI but I wasn't fat.  NOW I'm fat(and working on it).

He reached out to me when I opened his private pics. Told him I was just browsing as I had surgery recently and not cleared yet. He then said to text him about physiotherapy.  I'm assuming he's not actually licensed for that but I'm not local to him anyway. If he were an actual physical therapist and local I think I'd give him a go for that...

Have you cleared it with your surgeon? They may want you to wait a bit longer for tissue to heal.

Probably the best therapeutic massage I ever got was from someone who also offered other services. You can simply decline extras. I wouldn't restrict my search to those who are only therapeutic.

I'm not normally as blunt as PA, but I will agree that if that's 40 it's a rough 40.

Sometimes I think we should all chip in 5 or 10 bucks each month to a fund for a trusted reviewer to take the plunge on these newbies. Would save a lot of bumping.

Even elevated has a massive footprint. The supports need ti be fairly close together. The eminent domain issues are enormous in a densely populated area.

Brightline is not true "high-speed rail," it just goes at the higher end of regular rail speed.
We can't do high speed rail here anywhere you'd really want it because there are tens of  billions of real estate in the path you'd need to lay it. Barring a natiral disaster or world war demolishing all those buildings, it's not going to happen except maybe in stretches of desert. I don't know why people don't get this. China can tell people to leave their homes and pound sand. Europe was devastated and then rebuilt. The U.S. would have to buy homeowners out at market rates. That's a showstopper.

I've had a couple dozen massages in Vegas hotel spas over the last 20+ years and only once did something happen, and it was back when I was young and in shape and the therapist was a kid who appeared to be straight out of massage school and looking back - I think he was just into me, horny, and in his young and stupid phase.
