Any NYC LMT Recommends for Post-Surgery Session

Curious if anyone has post-surgery massage experiences. I’m now 6 weeks after a hip replacement and really jonesing for a massage. Be great to find someone trained or at least knows what they are doing for this situation. Thanks in advance.

Have you considered asking your physio for referrals? Hope you are back on your feet, tap dancing to your local spa soon!

Have you cleared it with your surgeon? They may want you to wait a bit longer for tissue to heal.

All cleared, stitches dissolved and my surgeon even suggested light massage of the scar area which my PT said she can do. But I’m hoping for a more expansive rub by a “he”.
