Palm Springs has the best mid century modern architecture.  You can drive or bike thru the many neighborhoods in the Greater Palm Springs area and admire the history and beauty of the homes and buildings. It’s very old Hollywood if you appreciate that era.

I've followed this thread and find it interesting.  I can't understand why  @public_assistance is constantly the receiver of everyone's wrath.  Although his comments are generally not warm & fuzzy, i find them to be insightful and thought provoking.  He speaks his mind and shares his personal experiences with us.  I was not given any compensation for making this comment. 😁

I second the opinion about avoiding Twin Palms. It’s a newer completely renovated resort but it is very cramped, sterile and the walls are paper thin. I could hear the guest in the next room snoring loudly. They are under the same ownership as Santiago and Descanso, but did not have the resort “feel “ due to the size of the property. However, the service, hospitality and attendants are top notch. My favorites are Santiago, Inndulge, Hacienda. Haven’t tried Vista Grande Resort but that place has a reputation for being “frisky”. Have fun in the desert!

For those that lived in the LA area in the early 2000’s, curious to know if anyone remembers a studio converted into a Gym and Massage studio that offered men’s nude workout and yoga classes? It was located in Van Nuys in an Office Park off Sepulveda Blvd / Erwin St - very discreet location that blended in with the rest of the offices in the complex.

If I recall, they advertised on Craigslist where the owner would let you know which trainers and masseurs were available and he would work on pairing you up and booking an appointment. It was one client/“trainer” allowed in the space at one time but they were pretty busy booking clients. It made me wonder how they recruited all these “trainers” willing to workout nude with men which some times lead to sexual or playful activity.

if anyone remembers and frequented the service, I would love to hear your experiences and if you still keep in touch with

I haven't been yet, but at the moment Premier Men's Club is likely the best.
Clubs Fusion and Extasis were popular but are now closed.

I took in my godsons when their parents passed. They were 15 and 16 at the time. Did not adopt, so I cannot speak to that, but I applaud you for stepping up. It was a big change and some of the adjustments werent easy so I know what you are going through. Take it one day at a time and follow the advice of a good family lawyer.

Was there a little over a decade ago. Visiting old friends in SD and we went one night. Meh, it wasn't anything I wanted to repeat even though my Spanish is pretty fluent which made it easier, and I had had some fun. At the time I remember thinking, I'd much rather fly to Vancouver which I did often when living in California, also inexpensive and a better selection of men, well for my tastes at least. Mexico is cheap but you get what you pay for. TJ is not the DF Mexico City for sure, so don't expect too much from the border town. Take your passport to cross back into the US and keep small bills $1's, $5's at hand because you'll be hounded for tips left and right.
P.S. Dancers weren't completely nude. Stripped down to undies and thongs. Offered to do "privates" in the back nude. A few sweet guys polite and nice to customers. Lots of drag queens though. Mixed crowd with some straight women with their bf's. I loved it when entering the gay guy at the door yelled to the women "¡Las niñas tienen que pagar!" - "Girls have to pay to get in" Men are free. LOL It made my night since usually it's the oposite in clubs around the world!

Shoedog112 reacted to + BenjaminNicholas in Credit card debt hits 1 trillion! How much do you owe?
First, have a high FICO score to get the best CC offers.  It could be points, miles, cashback or a combo.
Get the card and satisfy the terms of the deal.  Likely a minimum spend in a certain number of months.
Churn the card by paying it to zero and shelving it, or just cancel if you don't think there will be a reward clawback.
There are a ton of CC blogs and groups out there that go into insane, minute detail.  Every card.  Every offer.  Everything.  Even how to snag more points/miles/rewards through retention agents.  These are the people who likely have a spreadsheet for everything in their lives.
I don't fault them:  I just don't have the willpower to do the same.

Not sure who wrote it, but the "Karens are out in force" comment made me laugh.
1.) We're really still using the term Massage Parlor?  Is Mae West running them? You'll have to Google that name Gen XYZ or whatever you are.
2.) To Pubic_Assistance, I'm older and your comments don't indicate anything to me except ignorance.  And guess what? I have below zero interest in young guys. It's like eating green cantaloupe. It will be fascinating to see how you are dressing and behaving should you be lucky enough to get to be a "fetish" or "old food" of being older.
3.) To answer the original poster's questions.  There are older massage men out there. Two of them that immediately come to mind are Rob_CMT who used to live in NYC.  And Hud who used to live in Chicago. They are on RMasseur and MasseurFinder when they work. Both are traveling massage men now, and I can say with confidence that as far as massage goes, there is no young guy or even slightly older than 40 guys that can come close to their massage styles...they are mind blowing massage men.  If there are better older massage guys than these two, i'd like to know about them.  Seriously, please forward their names to me.  Older men are not a fetish, and they (we) can be very hot.
4.)To the original poster.  Ignore the haters.  I am grateful to be recognized as a Daddy in the community and I turn down young guys with regularity...again, "green cantaloupe".  I get more offers for hooking up now than I did when I was in my 20s, 30's and 40's
5.) Ok, i need to get ready for bed...can someone help me with my casket-bed?  I'm so old. Lol

My father passed away at 86 last month. He got the Delta variant in April 2021, survived the infection. But it impacted his heart . In early Jan he got Omicron, survived that too. But by the end of Jan his heart gave away. My mom is still alive at 86 and survived two Covid infections.
All my life I had dreaded the moment when my parents would start passing away. But when my father passed, after the initial bout of sadness, I was alright. Having seen so much death and turmoil over the last two years, I am glad he passed away without suffering too much.
My hope was he would live for another 2-3 years, the climate of fear and anxiety would pass, and he would pass under happier circumstances. But now I am glad he did last month. With talks of world war III and the nuclear threat, I was wrong about happier days returning soon.

My mom died in May of 2020 at the age of 96. Her decline from good health was rapid but I was not allowed to visit her (Covid restrictions) until her very final days.... so my mental image jumps from a person of good health to a dying woman with nothing in between.
I also realized that she could have been 196 and it would still feel painful.

I've had many scrubs and massages at Wi Spa.
Scrub is on a metal table. Full body except head and genitals. Sometimes painful, but when it's over you feel soooo clean.
I always get the massage where you're wrapped in a sheet and a woman walks on your back. Those are excellent.
