I don't think that would be something that any massage therapist working at a chain would want known, no matter how private that group might be. I think things like that unfold based on chemistry and the individuals involved. I used to go to a guy at M. Envy. I did not know whether he was gay or straight. He just gave a great massage. I'm completely with you on the aspect of them giving a good massage. There are few guys that are good a the massage part. So if they've given me a solid massage with sensual or erotic aspects, those guys should be tipped. I use a traveling massage guy that keeps his rate at 140.00. This guy travels to my city (and others). He has gas, hotel and food expenses. He's charging less than what the average to below average massage men are charging that live in my area and he delivers one of the best massages ever. So yes, when someone is excellent and reasonably priced, you should tip them. Even small amounts show an appreciation.
